You know, when someone's watching the movie it can be easy to let Megamind's awesomeness overshadow the fact that Roxanne is really fucking fantastic herself. Thanks for highlighting what a great character she is with this video.
Holy crap, this blew my mind! Perfect song, not just because of the name but that it fits the situation: 2 men who are madly in love with Roxanne, until one of them goes insane (the scene where Megamind tells Hal that he’s the intellectual dweeb dating Roxanne, that was powerful!) This vid is awesome, great job matching the clips to the lyrics!
Well, the last time until the DVD/Blu-ray comes out and you can do it again with footage that is both hi-rez AND not at a cropped aspect ratio. :P
Ah, this is still my favorite Megamind AMV, and I'm glad you took the time to upgrade it to higher-quality images.
Oh my god. I can't...I can't even. I can't even comment. I'm in speechless (typeless?) awe. That was the best Megamind video I've seen, if not one of the best I've seen on RUclips. I wouldn't have expected a video of this intensity to be made from such a comical movie, but I got chills. Perfect clips; you conveyed the emotions amazingly. Love.
You have a brilliant sense of timing, just to repeat what has been said over and over again. Absolutely wonderful.
Also, really nice job with the pacing. Normally, I'd think this song wouldn't inherently lend itself to the movie (other than the use of the name Roxanne) but the way you've edited it together actually makes it work. And I love what you did with the montage of lines during the interlude.
