these are godly, I've read and reread Solo Leveling, and just on a whim thought to see if anyone had modeled anything and put up on thingiverse, I'm definitely gonna be printing the whole set. I'm looking forward to your future works!
I'm really grateful to you bro. I had a hard time finding this dagger on the internet. not only did you make a tutorial on how to make it, you also shared the file for free, my biggest thanks to you bro.
Thanks, glad it's being used! I do this stuff because I think it's cool and I want to share it with others, so it's great to know people are enjoying it!
Great work came across these designs as I'm a huge fan of Solo Leveling and I just got my first 3D printer so I wanted my first print to be awesome. Really love the Solo Leveling stuff and I plan to print all the daggers you made, I hope you position yourself because when it comes out as an anime it's gonna be huge and I have a feeling this channel should get quite a few eyes on it. Just keep up the good work and thank you!
Looks amazing. Thanks for the update on dagger collection. It's really refreshing to see how you improved yourself. I salute you my friend for your great determination.
Thanks! That's the reason I started posting videos. Makes me actually finish something every month and get better. Getting to interact with other fans (yourself included) is icing on the cake.
Quite honeslty the most under creditied video out there. Not only did you make this a anime / tech nerd work but you walk through your workflow on how to use blender and create. Great work and to you and all your success.🥳
Glad you enjoyed it! You could use some cool filament for this if you have a really well calibrated 3D printer. My current printer doesn't do a perfect job, which is why I need to do a fair amount of sanding, so it wouldn't have worked for me. Even if my printer could handle it I think I'd still use paint because it gives me more control of the details. You could easily make this shinier with a gloss clear coat. I use a clear matte coat at the end, basically clear spray paint, to seal the projects and give them a nice finish. I find that's already fairly glossy so I've been worried that the high gloss finish would be overkill.
Thanks! Unfortunately it doesn't make financial sense for me to print/sell these. The files are free and there are printing services online where you could order this. There is probably also a local maker space where you could print this for cheap.
Thank you! I don't sell them but the files are all free, so you can use a printing service to get them and assemble/paint them yourself. Alternatively you can buy them for a couple hundred bucks from on Etsy. (Anyone is allowed to print/sell these models, they're just supposed to credit me and most of the Etsy sellers ignore that part of the license.)
I use bits of finishing nail (~2mm diameter and 15mm long) to align the pieces. You'll see some small holes in the models which allow for this. Then I use two-part epoxy for everything. I'll use painters tape, rubber bands, sprint clamps or anything else I can find to help hold things together while it dries. I wasn't brave enough to glue all the pieces together at once so I think I did ~3 rounds.
These are the Kamish daggers but I think you're thinking of the Demon King's daggers. That set varies a lot in the original art so I've actually done two versions. I decided they were two identical daggers but there's room for interpretation.
I use bits of finishing nail that I snap into pieces. It's about 1.8mm in diameter and helps align stuff during gluing. I got the idea from using dowels in woodworking so I've been doing it for a few years.
@@kevinmakescoolthings that would’ve been a great idea, but I decided to use the models that you provided that were whole and cut it up in such a way that it can be put back together with nubs similar to how you fit Legos together and that allowed me to print it in larger pieces because I have a big printerso the knives printed in two pieces each
I plan to make some more keys and items from Solo Leveling. I got a resin printer recently but haven't had time to do much with it. That should let me make a lot of smaller items which my FFF printer just can't handle.
You should be able to get these wherever. There's a link in the video description to the free files on Thingiverse. (I'm not selling anything so there's nothing for me to ship.) There are printing services you can order these parts from or you could contact a local maker community about getting them printed nearby.
What I do is break some small nails into sections, so you end up with around 1cm long pieces. I put those into the holes (if they closed up during printing you may need to use a drill to clear them out) which help align the pieces. This makes sure everything is lined up properly, which is an issue when you're dealing with irregularly shaped pieces like these. To actually stick the pieces together I use two part epoxy.
I don't currently sell anything but all the files are free on Thingiverse. If you're interested you can pay to get those printed and assemble/paint it your own. I've also found people on Etsy selling printed versions of my designs although I have no idea about the quality.
The files aren't already set? Both daggers are around 18 inches long, with the thin one being a bit longer. I always try to divide things into 100mm chunks (might be slightly smaller to avoid a key detail) so it should be pretty uniform.

Thanks! Glad you've been enjoying them! I have a few projects in the works to go along with the anime, just need to find time to do them!
@@kevinmakescoolthings need to talk to you
I was excited for this video to drop, and the dagger’s look amazing!
Thank you!

Thank you! It's a rewarding hobby, especially knowing other nerds get a kick out of it.

Just started printing these, they look pretty good 👍
Awesome! I'm glad people are using the files!
Bro deserves to be known...
Thanks!
These are awesome
Thank you!
This is so great. You should also put something to make it shiny like oily paint or golden plastic.
Glad you enjoyed it!

You should mass sell these online in bundles and stuff I love solo leveling but don't own a 3d printer

Bro don't get me wrong your artworks are amazing❤
But do you sell this daggers I really want them...

What was your process on gluing/attaching the blades together?
I use bits of finishing nail (~2mm diameter and 15mm long) to align the pieces. You'll see some small holes in the models which allow for this. Then I use two-part epoxy for everything. Doesnt 1 baran dagger have eye instead of mouth making it 2 diffirent daggers?
These are the Kamish daggers but I think you're thinking of the Demon King's daggers. That set varies a lot in the original art so I've actually done two versions. I decided they were two identical daggers but there's room for interpretation.
What is the measurement, can you tell me please?
The fat one is just over 18 inches long. The thinner one is a couple of inches longer.
what did you use to connect the holes like what held it together withe the glue
I use bits of finishing nail that I snap into pieces. It's about 1.8mm in diameter and helps align stuff during gluing. I got the idea from using dowels in woodworking so I've been doing it for a few years.

What is the name of the design program used in the video?
I made these with Blender. It's free and there are a lot of good tutorials online if you're interested. It's very accessible to hobbyists.
hello is your 3d models for this still free?
Yep, my files are free on Thingiverse. The link is in the video description. You may see it for sale (illegally) on Etsy and some other sites though.
Can you make the s-rank key in solo leveling
I plan to make some more keys and items from Solo Leveling. I got a resin printer recently but haven't had time to do much with it. That should let me make a lot of smaller items which my FFF printer just can't handle.
Can you order these products to be sent overseas?
You should be able to get these wherever. There's a link in the video description to the free files on Thingiverse. (I'm not selling anything so there's nothing for me to ship.) Hi kevin, im kevin :D
Hello! Great name!
what do i use to fix the parts, in the holes?
What I do is break some small nails into sections, so you end up with around 1cm long pieces. I put those into the holes (if they closed up during printing you may need to use a drill to clear them out) which help align the pieces. This makes sure everything is lined up properly, which is an issue when you're dealing with irregularly shaped pieces like these. To actually stick the pieces together I use two part epoxy.
Do you happen to sell these?
I don't currently sell anything but all the files are free on Thingiverse. If you're interested you can pay to get those printed and assemble/paint it your own. I've also found people on Etsy selling printed versions of my designs although I have no idea about the quality.
Bro, do you sell it?
bro could you please tell me the scale to print it🙂🙂

Happy to give you (and everyone else) the files! They're all free on Thingiverse if you want to print your own 🙂
