I know it is hard to reflect on passport rankings, but I sometimes wonder what crossing border with ID card, and staying there as long as I wish, feels like. which is what EU, GCC and Mercosur citizens enjoy... as a South Korean, my first impression of 'border' was a pile of mines and military personnels, and only real way to get out of my country was bringing a passport into (air)port. and when I go to neighbouring countries to reside, I only get simplified bureaucracy for long term visas instead. there was about zero 'freedom of movement' in Asia. I have mixed feelings for it. maybe politicians in East Asia haven't been acknowledged what 'opening their borders' actually means.
As a half Japanese with both the Japanese and European passports and nationalities I can guarantee the European does feel more freeing than the Japanese one despite the Japanese passport being the top one in this ranking. I went to study to the UK (before Brexit) and got to experience the perks of EU citizenship as I didn't have to pay for any student visas nor extra "international student" fees. On top of that renting an apartment was much easier in comparison with any other non-EU international student. With an EU citizenship many times I forget I even need a passport to go anywhere, there was a period of time when I didn't even have a passport because I was just travelling in the EU and I didn't really need one. At the moment I'm living in Japan so I do have both passports sorted but I am planning on moving back to Europe sooner rather than later and I imagine myself staying there for the long run. Living in Europe is certainly much better than here in Japan, just talking from my own experience. Although Japan is also a great place to live in, I just feel like I am more comfortable in Europe and have more opportunities over there rather than here. My Japanese is not the greatest and without great Japanese job opportunities are slim while in Europe I do have the liberty to move to whichever country I desire (once I save up a bit) and there are more job opportunities if you have a good level of English.

Australia: me too 🤓
Only two countries in the world visit India visa on arrival (South korea and Japan) other than these two countries no one can visit without visa
Nepal, Bhutan, and Maldives never need to apply a visa(arrival or advanced) to india

North Korea airlines travel to these visa-free destinations Cook Islands, Dominica, Gambia, Gyana, Haiti, Kyrgyzstan, Micronesia, and Niue. This must change for North Korea traveling must be done all the time.
when you look at the second link in the description all the rankings doesn't make sense anymore... e. g. lithuania wasn't even in this video or japan and singapore, both aren't anymore place 1, it is now the united arab emirates 🤔🤷♀

The Top tier battle from 9:52 - South Korea vs Germany vs Singapore vs Japan;
Which passport is the most useful from a practical point of view?
*They seem to be mostly same for travel to the US the Western Europe* But none of these can travel to all of China, India, Russia visa free :p
Japan: Good for China, India but Not for Russia
South Korea: Good for India, Russia but Not for China
Singapore: Good for China but Not for India, Russia
Germany: Not good for all of China, India, Russia
BUT: German passport makes up for it for EU travel (Better than no visa - Completely free movement within EU)
What do you think ids the most useful passport out of the top tier?
This answer woukd be different for many people. As a Canadian, I would love to be able to stay in Europe longer than 180 days without a visa lol I would pick Germany in a heartbeat.

Japan is top 1 cuz tourists are polite and spend a lot. And countries know for sure Japanese will go back to their countries
Thats not how that works lol
Passport strength is largely dependent on political-economic and governmental relations, commonwealth countries and whether the country as a whole imposes a threat to other nations. Not by the tourist politeness…
Woah, never thought that I have such powerful passport as a Malaysian...kinda shock
What prompted you to put "The" in from of Gambia?
5:33 Yes going to Ukraine is visa-free, but you will pay for visiting by giving away your legs and arms.

That's not true. We do have visas for russians now.
But they still prefer life-threatening means of travel for some reason.
Brazil will require visas from Mexico, Canada and the US
Good
Do you know why
Agradeça aos imigrantes ilegais que vão para esses três países. Antes nem precisava de visto, mas tem tanto brasileiro indo para fronteira que eles resolveram exigir o visto
Let's go!! 🇩🇪🇩🇪
I find it interesting how Australia allows almost no one in without an eTA or Visa. I honestly thought different living here.
Ecuador and Indonesia are visa free no matter what it seems
Yes and Ecuador is almost not visa free in other countries
I'M from Ecuador
A proud German here 🇩🇪
