I am using Neptune VX model on daily basis for 2+ years now, and we don't have any maid also for washing utensils.. so basically I am using it almost twice a day.
No problems at all so far.
However since before Neptune VX model, I had Neptune DX model for 6 years, but it started giving some problems after 4.5 years of usage, Like rusting in some parts, electronic control panel got replaced during AMC, Thermostat had to be replaced etc., so after 6 years I changed it with VX model.
From my experience can say, for 5 years you may not face much problems but after that some wear and tear may cause problems.
All this is depending upon, how you maintain it and how much is the usage.

Very practical demonstration. About a year ago, we had gone to US to meet our son and daughter in law and during our 2 months stay we saw the convenience of having a dishwasher. On our return, we bought LG dishwasher about a year ago. Definitely, dishwasher is a very convenient gadget. If Eco cycle of ANY dishwasher is used, it will consume 1 unit of electricity and 9 liters of water. congratulations for such a simple and nice demo.

Hamare yaha soft water hai. Aur powder bhi ifb use Kiya hai. (Just 10 ml) dalti hu.
Etna cum dalker bhi problem vaise ki vaise ... Fir bhi tablet use karke dekhti hu.

Even after technician had resolved the problem of constant glowing of extra hygeine and tablet button and machine not functioning it is once again showing the same problem.
How did the Technician resolved the problem, did he mentioned?
We have only faced this problem 2 times in last 10 years, once it was a problem Control Panel motherboard after replacement of that it started working, that was an older IFB model..
And once due to uneven surface below the machine we noticed this problem..
Kindly raise the complaint to IFB Customer Service and tell them to send a Senior Technician.
Ask them about the escalation matrix that who is the ASM OR RSM
Area Service Manager or Regional Service Manager get their contact number or email and contact them, then it will be attended faster.
We are no way connected to IFB, we just do Product Review based on our experience.

Hi Ma'am, could you please confirm if we need to keep the drainage pipe tied in inverted 'U' shape on the backside of the machine.
We have been told by demo person that if we untie it, then machine throws an error while draining out the water.

@@Dietichen even Voltas Beko, drain pipe hangs like that.
I think it is required to hold in the water from flowing out on it's own. By that loop of the pipe water will only flow out of the machine when it will push it out with pressure.

Please check with your friends if they are using dishwasher. Because my experience is the vessels don't get completely rinsed. The detergent film remains on the surface evenafter completion of the dishwasher cycle. To check this hold the vessels under running water and you will find lots of foam coming out from the vessels

Yes you can try Finnish tablet instead of powder
If in between cleaning power cut happening then dishwasher after Power back it will start from beginning or what?

No, this is not ok .. water should not be remain at the bottom..you should call service center..

Yes it is better to put a small stabilizer, because in case of power fluctuations it's electronics control panel may get damaged.

Hi..yes you can keep non stick , wooden , Tupperware , aluminium and even plastic also but plastic quality should not be too low ..but iron utensils like iron tawa ,kadhai will not be clean in this..

@@Dietichen yes, my tablets stock was over and I had this det as backup n used for 3 days. I jus wanted to observe and felt it is not effective. The same was expressed by my MIL she was unaware of what I was using the detergent. I told her the reason. If we say before only that feeling wil sit in head preconcvd notion will be there ....so its a genuine feeling that tablet is best n det is not anywhere closer to the tablets. Obviously, value for money.

Hi... aluminium, plastic but good quality..steel ,glass ke bartan to bahut acche se clean hote hai..iron ke nahi hote hai jaise ki tave kadhai...cooper ke clean ho jate hai..but cooper ko jaise ragad kar saaf karte hai waise nahi hote...nonstick maine kabhi dish washer me clean nahi kiye but woh bhi clean ho jate hai..

I am having IFB Dishwasher, I facing 'F5' error when i select 'Eco Wash' Program ,Only Bottom tray utensils to clean or Upper Tray untensils to clean.
The detergent box was not opening, using Fortune Detergent (15gms) or Empty (in detergent box).
For remaining programs including PreWash program using Bottom or Upper tray utensils to clean no 'F5' error.
No Inlet or Outlet of water flowinng problems and no blockages at pipes.
Then why 'F5' error occuring only in 'Eco Wash' Program and using either Bottom or Upper tray only?
Any solution help me.
I have never seen this kind of a problem in last 11 years in my Dishwasher.

There are minimum 30 minute and 55 minutes mode also there..
The plates I have are with wide walls so I set in a diff way. These kind of plates would be better but those who eat sambar rice all , these kind of plates dont suit.

Hi, how to solve F9 error In this diahwasher
F9 means your dishwasher isn't draining properly. Most likely the drain pipe at the back of the dishwasher is not having proper loop.

You can use tablet instead of detergent..some time detergent left in the socket because of bad detergent quality ...i m also using Finnish tablet ..you can buy it on Amazon..or you can ask in the service centre for this problem..
Machine is nice but the service local team not good and not at all attend any complaint months together even though we are in the coverage of extended warranty

Just 3 days we have taken diswasher but the water is 30 percent stay on the utensils like glases ,mam ur saying absence of salt and rinse that means any leakage of salt or rinse or extra salt and rinse we filled it please clarify my doubt
Hi Nagavalli ...For the glasses and bowls see to that you keep them upside down because if kept upright or slant they will end up retaining water. So do check that. And what i meant by absence of salt and rinse is that the machine has less of those so you need to refill them, because when these two are not enough in the machine the utensils show the white remains. So check if your machine indicates that these two are less. Second reason why the whiteness appears might be because the salt cap in the machine xis not tightly closed. So do check these things. And if problem still persists then call the customer care and get it checked.

Detergent you have to buy..they will not give for free..one detergent box you can use for one month but depends on how many times you are using the machine .. suppose I am using two times in a day so one box is enough more than 25 days ..we are a family of four .
mam is it necessary to use rinse aid without this machine will work or not?
Shruti, machine will work but Utensils may not have sparkling shine
It won't shine or dry property.... that is the primary purpose of Rinse Aid

Mam would you please tell me when I switch on the dishwasher it going to extra Heigene and also tablet blinking but i dnt want that options because daily 60 degrees only I use please tell me how to change only daily 60degrees
Hi.. hi you can switch off the extra hygiene button by pressing it twice
And to change the program from daily 60 degree to eco 50 degree or super 50 degree you can press the button and change it
There is a round program button, by pressing it multiple times you can change the program

If water gets over in overhead tank then dishwasher will stop automatically. And all lights on the control panel will start blinking. It will show F5 on display.

So many reasons for that..some time low water flow, voltage flactuation,uneven leval surface,water existing etc..so you have to check

You can't use only rinse, but will have to use it with dishwasher detergent powder.

Hi Sawan..the depth of the machine with door open is 45 inches and it will also require 2 - 3 inch of extra space behind it for drainage pipes

F5 error means something is wrong in your machine..sometime's it may be water supply issue, floor level problem,filter issue etc..so I think you should call on IFB service center..

When i opened the product it was wet inside... it seems that some one used it in past. the trey rack was broken. there were scratch on the door as well. even with all these odds the installation engineer came to house for installation, he gave excuse. considering such large product initially i did not thought about replacement and we started using the product IFB Neptune VX Plus. in first few wash we got few dents in the utensils and cracks in crockery, also F5 error, the wash cycle was not getting over. We complaint same guys came with another person he rectified the F5 error and cycle getting over however the dent issue was not resolved. finally the new person came and suggested the machine to be replaced may be some internal issue, i am still awaiting the machine replacement.

We mostly use it on super 50 mode, running time around 50mins, it will consume 2units for that duration, it will consume more then a washing machine since dishwasher needs hot water for cleaning.
Running water me nahi nikalana hota..stop spreading misinformation
