Hugs. ❤ Trauma leaves bruises on our heart, mind, psyche. Healing the bruises requires reflection. Is it because you want something to happen? For instance, punishment of another? This is a sit down, decide if what you want is within your power to get. If not, let it go, and finalize that decision. If so, is it something you will go after and follow through to the bitter end…and would it be worth all your energy in pursuit? If not, let it go, and finalize that decision. You see, what happened to you might have been out of your control, but how you handle it going forward is fully in your control, and noone else’s. ❤

In fact I was planning on leaving my husband because I thought I was angry at him. You know what was causing my anger? Toxic black mold that was in our laundry room. I knew mold was bad for you and since I couldn't understand the anger I googled, "can mold cause anger?" And the answer came back immediately as Mold Rage. That's exactly what I was experiencing. As an African American your words touch me in a way that others’ philosophers have yet to. Our culture and our stories were erased and we were separated from our elders in the slavery. We were forbidden to record our stories with writing, although that wasn’t our culture either. Our spoken history was destroyed similar to the stories of American tribes. You are a good man.

John Trudell, our beautiful Lakota Brother, said, "At one time, we were all Tribal People"..There is a connection, between all Peoples of the Earth, that has been forgotten, and ignored, and trampled upon, destroyed, in essence, obliterated from....erased.. from the minds of modern humans,.who now, are lost........So, there is much we can learn and connect with , still, if we choose to ..from the Tribal Nations that survived the white's invasion and systematic genocidal destruction.............If you live in the USA , you are in the right place to learn , from the local Native tribes.... Many tribes have Sacred Ceremonies that are open to join, if you go to the rez, and ask around, you will find someone who will tell you who to go talk with, where to go, to get to a Sacred Ceremony..... If they see you have a real and sincere reason to be there, and that you come to them in a respectful way, with Love in your Heart,, you will be welcome, in many kinds of Ceremonies....The Inipi, or Sweat Lodge Ceremony, is the one to ask about..... That is the one, to use as a foundation to build upon... It is a key Ceremony of Renewal, and Thanks.....a rebirth, in all ways, a Healing , in all ways, physical, emotional, mental, and Spiritual.....If you want to know about Native American ways, a great book to read, to get you started, is a book from 1972....called "Rolling Thunder"...by Doug Boyd...He wrote another book called "Mad Bear", in the same easy style of writing...Read Rolling Thunder first.....

The wisest person, I've met, told me about anger like this:
    - Anger is an important feeling. All feelings are important. All feelings are also true. Feelings convey our inner messages. Our job is to listen, what they say. Anger is telling, that something important for us is threatened. -
To feel anger, and to act in anger, are two different things. The teaching in this video is about acting in anger.

1:59 sometimes it's not our anger that destroys us as much as the stupidity of allowing something to go on that is wrong without bringing attention to it.... untill it has sickened our spirit, our vision and understanding of ourselves, our peoples and our purpose here on earth. The holiness of life itself is so precious and yet the young and old alike sacrifice what is good and meaningful for empty promises, ashes for trees, and hot air for a cool breeze- pink floyd
    I pray you are well
Thank you for the medicine in your words
My body is sick from the spiritual war
But I have not turned to a devil by facing him. He is within each of us when we feed our darkness and sacrifice our light to survive the vultures as they pick what's left.
I picked up oil to recycle from white river years ago and on my trip a red tailed hawk was surrounded by four vultures in the middle of the road.
He was poisoned and saw his death and the vultures were waiting for him to die. I pulled my truck over to get him safely out of the road, and to protect him from the vultures.
A man from the community saw what I was doing and he told me to be careful. I told him my father had been setting eagles free from traps since I was a boy. He picked up the hawk from behind and she let him carry her off of the road. He was a very good man, and you probably know him personally. If I could remember his name I would tell you.
I pray that that your family is well and safe amongst the juniper and pines. Be well friend

Voicing frustration and complaining is also weakness, however I don’t believe the Holy People want us to be self deprecating either. There’s an old expression I heard working in the trades that goes “it is better to be pissed off than pissed on“ this seems spiritual damaging. I suppose angry is a false way of defending against ridicule. It is difficult to understand why people find jolly and glee at the expense of others. I think that this fall into pecking order. At the root, (which may not be so easily recognized) Contention. I see sorrow, self pity, feeling bad about yourself, and bad for yourself as self depreciation. Asking or being open to suggestion in order to work together to solve and resolve is alway a better way to go. I’ll never take shame in a second look! Respect the referee!

@@freelyb arrogance seem to be a serious precursor to Anger. I always do my best to identify the arrogance as quickly as possible. It feels good to be as the trotting coyote. When we are able to distinguish this in our behavior we are able to realize its potential harm to our spiritual well being. There is a very important difference between confidence and arrogance. It seems lately it is a game to have those lines blurred. Arrogance to many in the business work seems to be a necessary tool to success and it is sickening! When people in power use Anger as a tool it isn’t simply shut down. It becomes a mechanism to create fear which is a next level connection to the evil one. This is very ugly and dangerous we know from the history.

When you get in a roll let’s say, you have a good out come, things are going smooth and you aren’t thinking much on it this is confidence! This could be any venture you might be participating in. Sometime we have the feeling in us to praise ourselves, admire ourselves, make comparisons about what we do to what others do, the key is to just identify what it is and acknowledge that if it goes too far it has potential to limit our progress. It isn’t bad to have arrogance, in-fact went applied in a proper manner actually beneficial, what is important is to identify that it is arrogance and I know that it is arrogance. This spawns humility! I like my small win, it is good for me, it is a big aspect in my life however an very minutely, and subtly important part of a vastly larger system. A system in place to future the well being of humanity. I am happy that it is this way. It is small no matter the time, money, effort and or energy it takes. It becomes larger the more like minded individual are involved.

For years I've been trying to discipline myself. I meditate daily and try to practice detachment and complacency. We must stand alert at all times, the profane world brings our patience to the limits every day. It is hard to loose rooted habits, particularly anger/hatred and revolt/ressentment. Will I ever be free?

    What is poison?
Everything beyond your needs is poison.
That can mean power, laziness, food, ego, ambition, vanity, fear, anger and something else.
    What is fear?
It ist the non-acceptance of uncertainty. When we accept uncertainty, it becomes an adventure.
    What is jealousy?
It is the non-acceptance of good in other people. When we accept this good, it becomes an inspiration.
    What is anger?
It is the non-acceptance of what lies out of our control. When we accept this, it becomes tolerance.
    What is hate?
It is the non-acceptance of other people, how they are. When we accept them without condition, it becomes love.

My grandmother once told me "if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all". i immediately knew that was terrible advice. it pissed me off and apparently i was a spiteful child because i took her advice to the extreme and festered in my negativity, anger, then rage and became a mute just about. Thanks for coming to my Tedx talk, i hope you learned a lesson.

Another priceless piece of wisdom from Grandfather Wally, the Dine and the Holy People. "Narcissist" and "Toxic" have become buzzwords in recent years and I've seen that many people use them excessively. All it does is increase judgement, anger, resentment and hatred within themselves.

I struggled it one time really harshly with anger. I grew up with a stepmother used to tell me to get angry. Don’t get depressed. Just get angry and then you are drinking and drugs and it didn’t help. I have done a lot to overcome Them processes. I have been bullied and provoked beyond all reasoning and I have maintained. I have been beat on physically beat on and didn’t take the action that was open to me to sincerely seriously hurts someone on multiple occasions. I have done a lot of work on myself, but I am dealing with people right now. That are just absolutely cruel, that are absolutely heartless and selfish and manipulative even saying I can feel the frustration within me. It’s terrible. These people are bullies they use their narcissistic, selfish behavior to try to push people like myself over the edge . I have seen and lived what anger does . My stepmother may God l the creator rest her tormented soul. Used to drink 30 to 60 cups of coffee a day and she would fly off the handle at any moment and I was a target of a lot of that a lot of addictive behaviors as well passive aggressive, crap . So I understand what agger can do. And I know, cause I’ve lived it and I’ve done it to myself. I never wish to go back there. 27 +years of sobriety a regular meditative practice a regular exercise practice my time in nature is the most fulfilling . I had a conversation with a guy the other day and a grocery store and a pizza parlor two different conversations and I left their feeling so wonderful because they were wonderful people. They were genuine. This type of people are hard to find these days. I just wanna be at peace . ❤

The fighting impact noises cracked me up. I find that the vibration of anger can aid me in passing through suicidal depression and there's a bit of adrenaline there to charge the body and get me moving and forgiving. I am speaking of that unique phase (in solitude!) that reminds me of who I really am and that little tantrum phase serves its purpose. Anger around people can be controlled with breathing so as to not infect anybody. Humans will, by necessity, evolve out of the anger/survival mode, don't hold your breath. Thank you Wally.

This lesson came to me as ive been praying for anger to stop being a knee jerk response that I have often enough that i dont like it in others as much as I don't like it in myself. I broke off a relationship recently due to the both of us being defined by our anger. Im ready to change this knee jerk response. Now I have to do the work. Peace and love be with us all and especially to those of us who struggle ❤ let go of anger, i just keep telling myself, it has no place in my heart ❤❤
Wally and Shane's lessons and channel, i never tire of the lessons shown here.

Anger is useful for overcoming fear, or more generally, oppression. Which is of course something that those in power, whether as a part of you or your environment, may prefer to deny the existence of.

Anger is not useful. Fear and Anger are partners they go together, they belong with themselves. They are one or the same. Anger and Fear are not useful for anything, period'.

So many approaches, so many roads, so many thoughts and me.
Finding similar adaptations to familiar entanglements encourages my searching for more of the same. Not everyone likes black licorice, yet when you find someone who does you know truth. Stop looking for truth and accept the peace you find on your journey.
    Peace

This is a lesson about anger that people in our country and around the world need to hear and take to heart. Holding anger is as destructive to the person that holds it and lashes out in anger at others. It actually destroys the anger holder with bodily elements with too much Cortisol which can be a killer.

Anger equals physical damage to ones self and others which leads to medical bills, lawsuits from hurting others and property, less financial blessings because of this, loss of freedom due to jail time and much more on top of the emotional aspects of weakened and lost relationships and respect etc etc etc. All this from anger. Just imagine what happiness can do.
Thanks for the always great commonsense words of guidance and wisdom in enjoying life in its fulness ☕
