I was at this race, remember it very well. A great afternoon watching dale and rusty neither given a inch. I miss this kind of racing. The last win for dale at martinsville.
My dad took my brother and I to this race. Second race I've ever been to. My dad took us to Martinsville races probably about 10 times between 1994-2000
3:04 race start 11:31 first caution 23:06 second green flag was given off-screen 32:45 second caution 38:12 third green flag 47:25 third caution 51:27 fourth green flag 59:23 fourth caution 1:04:40 fifth green flag 1:23:10 fifth caution 1:32:40 sixth green flag 1:38:48 sixth caution was given off-screen 1:41:26 seventh green flag 1:57:00 seventh caution 2:00:30 eighth green flag 2:21:09 eighth caution 2:28:00 ninth green flag 2:42:22 ninth caution 2:44:42 tenth caution 2:46:45 tenth caution 2:48:28 eleventh green flag was given off-screen 2:55:06 end of the race
I miss when they showed the pit times, I loved watching the time they spend on pit road and how fast they are compared to the others, it sucks they don't show that aspect on the television anymore.
good old short track racing I have always loved to watch races at martinsville but have never gone to see one in person which kind of sucks but at least I get to see them on tv or youtube.
Rick Mast had a great start, up to 11th from 18th before the first caution. He passed Jarrett, Hamilton, and Cope, all on the outside, in the span of 2 laps.
At about 2:21:00 - I think that since this race, that must be the biggest incident not to trigger a caution. Aside from road courses but even then... I jokingly tricked myself into believing that the flag man was staring at his smart phone at the time and didn't notice anything.
do u have 1995 Miller Genuine Draft 400 at Richmond 1995 MBNA 500 and 1995 AC Delco 400 those are the only races not from 1995 on youtube can u upload them if u have them so I can finish the 1995 season.
Wow at this point in the season Jeff Gordon was 300 & some odd points ahead of of Dale Earnhardt Sr. WOW!! I think if the points program would have stayed the same throughout Jeff Gordon’s career I think Jeff would have most definitely ripped off at least 1-2 more championships & if Ray Evernham would have remained as Gordon’s crew chief as well as they won 3 championships together & 1 with Robbie Loomis.

Thank you for this! Such great memories. Love it!
Rob Johnson I know, I feel like a kid again when I watch these races.

2:35:39 Poor Benny. Lol This is why these guys will always be the best broadcast crew ever for nascar.

The Greatest Of All Time, Dale Earnhardt!

I think he would have had 6 or 7 if the points system remained the same as it was. He never got one under any of the new systems
He ended up around 39 ahead. One more good finish and dale would've had the 8th
Do you have the 1995 Hanes 500? It's one of the only races from 1995 not on RUclips.
nascar should have kept these cars now cars cant take a sneeze on em oh out
Earnhardt barely lost at the end of season. Should've been his 8th
