yes I agree, book 2 is really the point where I got hooked to ADSOM!!!
Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell is my favorite book of all time. It’s just wonderful, the characters are amazing and the plot is... ugh I can’t even explain how amazing it is. I ended up reading this two times in less than six months (which is really unusual of me because I rarely reread books at all). 100% would recommend.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a book that I really want to read! Hope I can get it soon 🙌🏻

I just completed reading Six of Crows and all I can say is that I am in love with Kaz Brekker. I don’t think I have been so fascinated by any other book as much as by Six of Crows 😍
Also, The Seven Husbands, it’s on my tbr list, hope to read it soon 😍😍
bewitchingly paranoid I feel you so much! Kaz is like my biggest literary crush ever. I read the SoC duology over a year ago and my adoration for it has yet to subside :)
Ahh Kaz is just the best! 😍 I'm currently reading Crooked Kingdom and by the time I finish this duology I will have a Kaz Brekker's shaped hole in my heart 😢 PS. Can we get a little moment of appreciation for Jesper too? He's just the sweetest ❤️

gurl, your heart is about to hurt a lot and it'll be in a bad way but in the good way too! I had so many moments when my heart just wanted to burst from sadness and happiness ❤️ this book is an emotional roller-coaster and a half!

I only read the Six of Crows duology this year as well! The audiobook has 6 narrators and is awesome, would recommend! Hope you enjoy Crooked Kingdom! :)
Okay I'm really glad you said that about ADSOM because I read the first book last year and also gave it 4 stars and wasn't sure about it, but now I think I'll definitely continue!
I just started A Gathering of Shadows and I'm so excited!
Strange and Norrell has actually been made into a TV show too but the book has my interest!!! Intricate magic systems are the best. Your make up matches Fire. The Shades seems like it has good character progression defo want to read. UGH Hugo isn't my normal kind of book but now you're convincing me to try. Are the world's of Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows interlinked?
So confusing seeing you post a winter wrap up when the UK (where I'm from) is wrapping up summer!!
I definitely need to get to a darker shade of magic and you've persuaded me to try Jonathan Strange as I have that as well!
I've also heard so much about seven husbands so I think I'll have to pick that up too :)
Do you need to read shadow and bone series before six of crows?
Evelyn Hugo will EASILY make my top books of the year, it is SO WORTH THE HYPE! Also, so glad you loved Six of Crows--I felt similarly about Grisha and was nervous that I wouldn't love SoC because of that... but I can definitely say I was wrong and Crooked Kingdom might even be better...
I really need to finish the ADSOM series :O
For a recommendation I'd recommend Picture Us In The Light by Kelly Loy Gilbert, haven't seen nearly enough people talking about it
Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell is such and amazing book. I loved it and my bf who has some difficulty reading big books finished it in less than a month and it was so great! Is historical but it is also fantastical and the characters were great and really well developed and focused on england... Great book.
Finally someone who is on the same season as me! (I'm in Brazil!) I just finished Evelyn Hugo and loved it! You should read If I Was Your Girl! It's on the top of my winter list, right next to Evelyn Hugo!
Oh man! I have only read Six of Crows out of this list but definitely intrigued to read all of them now... Recommendations? City of Brass by S. A. Chakraborty, and The Boneless Mercies by April Genevieve Tucholke. Both have captivated me ♡

I recently read The Deviners and absolutely adored it 😍 and also my reread of The Foxhole Court by Nora Sakavic was the most amazing thing ever 😊😊🤩🤩🤩

I've read I'll Give You the Sun, Orphan Train, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, My Year of Rest and Relaxation, The Upside of Unrequited, Everything I Never Told You and The Sympathizer recently that I thought were amazing :) I've been meaning to pick up Jonathan Strange and Mr Norell but I have to admit I'm intimidated by its size x)

The meteorological seasons are opposite in the southern hemisphere. The Australian winter (which consists of June, July and August) is slightly colder than the other seasons. But of course, their winter is not as harsh and cold as the ones in other parts of the globe. It depends on the climate.
