      @@skullcam Bit late here but you could probably get away using the stock motor if you go with a much smaller pinion & put a fan on the esc.
      Think it's a clone of the hobbywing 40amp brushed esc, so on 2s it should handle a 540 12t motor on a fairly modest gear ratio like 8 - 15:1 or so depending on the vehicle its used in.
      If it has a thermal shutdown it wont cook itself either if it's smart enough too do that, some of these clones just cook though because its cheaper too push out of the factory that way heh...
      I'd perhaps use the brushed esc & motor in a older Tamiya of some sort you buy used on ebay or some used roller/slider car for a really low price online that has reasonable parts support still, which tamiya depending on what you buys is fantastic for, specially if the vehicle has seen a re-release.
