To all those who are still confused why this happened and blaming the Aventador driver - Both these cars are heavily modified and the tuning on GTR is far great. I'm actually a GTR fan, but it's pretty obvious that a stock GTR cannot beat a stock Aventador. Check some official drag videos with these stock cars and you'll know what I'm saying.
Well Gtr's are highly responsive to mods, so its pointless keeping it stock, how much does Nissan detune it from factory? What about lamborghini? I think the tuned gtr is the real GTR and stock is just a slow detuned version.

RasEarl Metaligana yes it is, but you must know if both cars fully tuned, Lambo still lose, because there's nothing much to do with V12 engine, I must say that Lambo engine is at "Peak Level", only thing can do is improve aerodynamics.
RasEarl Metaligana GTR has twin turbo with 6 cylinders engine that can be tuned up to 1200hp, and with more downforce compared to Lambo, the GTR has better launch grip. i've seen videos showing GTR with topspeed 392 KPH (0-100 in just 2,3 Sec if I not mistaking)

That's your choice, just like Lambo buyers made their choice. As far as back seats, that works for you, but not for me, if i owned a supercar like that i'd want it to be a 2 seater. For me back seats need to be in a 4 door, i'm not a big fan of back seats in 2 door cars, but that's just me. As far as hopping it up and having money left, great, but keep in mind, you're speaking on YOUR pocket book, not someone elses. You got to realize most Lambo owners can buy cars like that like buying candy, they don't have a "Budget" like you're speaking of. They also aren't just worried about whose car can beat who. Most guys that jeff up the GTR on all these videos against the Lambo, all they care about is getting a car that's the fastest so they can show off racing everybody, just like these losers you see now that can't even go to the grocery store without being a prick racing everybody light to light show boating in their honda with the upgraded exhaust.
Curious, how much more power can you get from a tune alone for cars that should be tuned at the factory? Keep in mind, these are sports cars made for performance. I doublt nissan is worried that the car will not offer competitive mpg or not shift smooth enough for the luxury minded buyer to not tune it for best performance. Same can go with the Lambo. If this is true, who to better tune the car than the builder of the car who has full access to everything. If you say the GTR has aftermarket components, then you can argue the point, because I'm sure you should tune the car to better incorporate the aftermarket components but just a tune and tune alone of an optimized tuned stock car? Hard to accept, but please educate me on how an outside tuner will tune these specific cars different than factory.

odd. the lambo driver was soft on the throttle and shifting at only about 3000rpms until 1:10 then he gets on it a little more. thrown race? bad driver? that start should have been 200% more aggressive.

RasEarl Metaligana yes it is, but you must know if both cars fully tuned, Lambo still lose, because there's nothing much to do with V12 engine, I must say that Lambo engine is at "Peak Level", only thing can do is improve aerodynamics.
RasEarl Metaligana GTR has twin turbo with 6 cylinders engine that can be tuned up to 1200hp, and with more downforce compared to Lambo, the GTR has better launch grip. i've seen videos showing GTR with topspeed 392 KPH (0-100 in just 2,3 Sec if I not mistaking)

So the only way a GTR will every beat any of these cars is if it modded or tuned but reliability is still shit. If I had some money I'd rather build a Golf R HGP. If I am rich I'd be buying the Aventador or Porche 911 turbo S because I will be driving from the East Coast to the West Coast and Back. These cars will get back without any issues. The GTR won't.

That's your choice, just like Lambo buyers made their choice. As far as back seats, that works for you, but not for me, if i owned a supercar like that i'd want it to be a 2 seater. For me back seats need to be in a 4 door, i'm not a big fan of back seats in 2 door cars, but that's just me. As far as hopping it up and having money left, great, but keep in mind, you're speaking on YOUR pocket book, not someone elses. You got to realize most Lambo owners can buy cars like that like buying candy, they don't have a "Budget" like you're speaking of. They also aren't just worried about whose car can beat who. Most guys that jeff up the GTR on all these videos against the Lambo, all they care about is getting a car that's the fastest so they can show off racing everybody, just like these losers you see now that can't even go to the grocery store without being a prick racing everybody light to light show boating in their honda with the upgraded exhaust.

Curious, how much more power can you get from a tune alone for cars that should be tuned at the factory? Keep in mind, these are sports cars made for performance. I doublt nissan is worried that the car will not offer competitive mpg or not shift smooth enough for the luxury minded buyer to not tune it for best performance. Same can go with the Lambo. If this is true, who to better tune the car than the builder of the car who has full access to everything. If you say the GTR has aftermarket components, then you can argue the point, because I'm sure you should tune the car to better incorporate the aftermarket components but just a tune and tune alone of an optimized tuned stock car? Hard to accept, but please educate me on how an outside tuner will tune these specific cars different than factory.
