Wow! I'm so glad I found this video!! I was just asked to do this exact cake and I had no idea who the characters were lol and you made it look so easy! One quick question, I notice your cake is sweating from being in the freezer. So you suggest anything as far as how to deal with that? That's what I'm always afraid of and when it happens my colors sometimes run
Honestly, I wouldn't say that would be a huge problem for you. When I work under the hot lights I have to freeze my cake so I have time to work with it and this is often the result. If you chill yours in the fridge and work at room temp there is going to be a far less chance of that happening.

Could I ask where you got your flexible smoother/scraper from?
Mine is homemade! I those flexible plastic cutting boards from Walmart and I cut them into whatever size or shape I need. It’s a good idea to use a craft knife or exacto knife and a ruler to get a nice straight edge.
One last question for you. What did you use to cut your 4” circles with. And where did you happen to get the cutter from? If you used a circle cutter. My smallest cake round is 6”. I was able to find the cutting mats at $tree for $1.25.
@@darleneholtz3300 I actually have a 4” pan, but you could bake a small square or sheet cake and cut cake circles from that. I would cut out a 4” circle from a piece of paper and use that as a template to cut around. Cutting 4” cakes from 6” cakes you’ll have a ton of cake cutoffs so that’s why I would use a square or a sheet.
