Creer en el infinito, creer en que este día en que estamos es simplemente NADA.... entonces ser santos es solo una decisión de paciencia y confidencia en las palabras de Jesús a San Pedro.
Voy a rezar por el. Pero tiene que saber que el fundamento de nuestra fe es la Eucaristia y no la Biblia. A pesar de conocer la Sagrada Escritura, los discipulos que iban de camino a Emaus no entendian el mensaje de Cristo hasta su aparicion en la mesa de Emaus. Cristo vive y se encuentra en la Eucaristia! De ahi mi permanencia en la iglesia a pesar de mis pecados y errores. Sin la Eucaristia no puede haber una vida Cristiana autentica. El diablo puede enganar con los versos de la Biblia. Se atrevo a enganar Jesus durante su tentacion. Pero con la Eucaristia, solo cabe indiferencia o profanacion. Nada mas! Somos como decia el Papa San Juan Pablo II somos una iglesia de la Eucaristia. Si se buscan a Cristo hoy dia no hay mas remedio que permanecer en la Iglesia por el hecho de encontrarle en la Eucaristia. Me sorprende que la gente no se caye en la cuenta que el unico tesoro que tenian los primeros Cristianos no era la Biblia sino la Eucaristia (la presencia real de Cristo entre los fieles). Cuantas persons sabian leer en la antiguedad Cristiana? Cuantos tienen acceso a libros, etc. Pero ellos transmitieron la fe hasta nosotros por su vida centrada en la Eucaristia.
Thank you for sharing this news. It is so sad to hear. I sadly blame so many that are looking for error and no praying for our Pope. Its sad that he has put himself as judge of tradition and i dont know how anyone can convince him that hia interpretation is incorrect. This is why the Pope and being united to him is so important because we can justify and believe anything but is it correct? Being in communion is most important. Even greated than our interpretaions and our undestandings.

Jesus prometió que su iglesia jamás dejaría de existir y los Santos nos dan enseñan que Jesús sigue en su iglesia....algo más... Que paso con los 12 apóstoles? Quien de ellos no sufrió algo físico? Así es... El que jamás se apartó de Jesús y su madre! Ellos son los ejemplos a seguir.
I will pray for Fernando Casanova. But I would like to share the following considerations with our Bible loving Evangelical converts. There is no mention in the Bible that Jesus asked anybody explicitly to write down his sayings or deeds as we have it in the Bible. Christians adopted the Old Testament from the Jews and the Christian Bible as we know it was not even completed until the last apostle died. The Jews who received the old Testament rejected Jesus as Messiah. So in the absence of a teaching authority, the Bible will remain a contentious text open to differing interpretations. Jesus however asked his disciples to do something in his memory. That is why the early Church was essentially centered aroung the breaking of the bread and continuing in the teaching of the apostles. That teaching included the interpretation of the Old Testament in view of the reality of the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus and the coming of the Holy Spirit. That is what gave rise to the New Testament as we know it. All the other versions of the Bible including the KJV are a by product of the lived experience of the first Christian community centered around the celebration of the Lord's supper. The Bible itself was a fruit of the liturgical (worship) experience of the Church. All this Biblical interpretation controversies tend to ignore that fact that very few people in the ancient Church were literate. Their faith was founded on the encounter with the risen Christ in the Eucharist in a similar fashion as the disciples on their way to Emmaus. That is why the Mass is divided into two parts: Liturgy of the Word (with a focus on reading and meditating the Word of God) and the Liturgy of the Eucharist (focused on the real presence of our Lord in the Eucharistic assembly). It is a replay of the events on the way to Emmaus and a guarantee of the constant presence of the Risen Lord in his Church.
