    They're only retiring her because she's old and doesn't perform as well. I highly doubt this is no more than them trying to save money on a food bill. So do her and us all a favor and get her out of there ASAP

      Yup she's not profitable any more and costs more medical bills hopefully they let her go soon or into sea pen so she can have a taste of freedom.

    Have a look at how bad that tank has become! The water is filthy, She would be better off left to fend for herself rather than have her remain in that tank.

    Scientists know were her family are her pod are seen regularly a lot of her family are still alive including her mother so sad they won't return her to her family

      The identity of her mother is not known.
      Regarding family, Lolita has outlived her entire pod except for one individual. She would be a total stranger to them.

    After 50 years of captivity. Does anyone actually think this poor Orca has a chance of a happy life?

    I’m sorry but they’ve been talking about moving her for 30 years I doubt it’s happening. For the past 57 years Lolita has been under the care of man, she doesn’t like her fish cold she likes them warm. Kind of a diva with her trainers 😂 her tank is criminal it’s horrible. It’s all she knows. I don’t want what happened to Keiko to happen to Lolita. Praying for her. Who is the actual owner of Lolita? The man that owned her before was in love with her but he might have passed away.

      Keiko was a lot happier in a giant sea pen. They shouldn’t have let him in the ocean alone tho. Moving her to a sea pen would be ideal with the other orcas in captivity also

    • @shazhamilton5160
      @shazhamilton5160 Год назад +3

      @@Sunrise-fr9jb exactly it was cutting off all human contact and letting him completely free that killed him and even the small taste of freedom he had was still better than dying in captivity. He died free not tormented and tortured in captivity and forced to do tricks he hated or else starve like the other ocras. Sea pens would be a lot better for captive ocras no loud music no forcing them to do tricks for dead fish. A natural environment and more space than they've ever had. Sanctuaries and sea pens are a good compromise between setting an animal who has no idea of how to fend for themselves completely free and keeping them in captivity it's as natural as they can get since they sadly aren't able to fend for themselves
