- Whether it's 'naive' in Moroccan or 'intention' in Arabic, this video showcases just how powerful women actually are in traditional cultures found in North Africa and the Middle-East. This is for our Queens.

Niyya isnt necessarily naïve in Moroccan. It can also mean someone with a good heart. It also means the literal meaning, intention.
Yes, but in the song means Naive.
Of cours
It means naive anyway in this song 😂😂😂 no one is niya in the real world it s just philisophic word that lead to perfection
I like how the guy on the left is explaining things .. really appreciate that 🖤🖤🖤
Manal here tells a true story wtch happend in the 50s ...of a sheikha (a moroccan traditional artist ) loved a man and he promessed to marry her, she was naive she trusted him, and gived him her virginity (the blood in the video and loosing virginity represent a real loss in tht era and in a conservative country ) then he didnt showed up the day of the small marriage cermony...thts why she and her freinds and familly were sad in the end.....its also contain a powerfull message in the lyrics tht we r not naive we love and we trust but no more sacrefices if u want a girl dont play and be a real man and even if not we r independent woman i can live happy without u...those days of naivety r gone
You are the only one with the real explanation!! THANK YOU!!
Good explanation.no more sacrifice fot the one who didn't worth it.
Kharboucha ♥️
that's on period sis
Why did she give him her virginity ? Why not check if the man is a good man before giving yourself ? If you don't to be played stay away from players

@Sisi Nono yes it's moorish moroccan 🇲🇦
I know Arabic but I'm not Arab I'm African Muslim when I'm learn about Islam that helps me to know Arabic language
I was opposite; after hearing a fireside lecture about Islam and the similarities between Christianity and Islam, hearing the call of prayer and a child recite the Quran, I decided to study Arabic to understand the religion and Quran better. It has made a huge difference. I wish you the best, sister.
Me too I from Africa and an Arab girl would you like to contact with each other
We Moroccans are Africans whom speak darija an Arabic dialect ❤️
The "pharaoh" thing lool is actually called chdda الشّدّة that women wear on their wedding night. They're very heavy and very very expensive cuz theyre full of jewelery. There is many types depending on the region. The one Manal is wearing is from Fès (الشّدّة الفاسية)
That is not shedda of tetoun, that is the traditional Moroccan wedding dress of Fez
Yesss it's fassi, some people call it cobra
The chedda of Tlemcen is a traditional Algerian outfit, more precisely from the city of Tlemcen, but also worn in the west of the country, notably in Oran and Mostaganem. A pure product of Tlemcen craftsmanship[1], the Tlemcen bridal costume accumulates pieces from various periods.
Since 2012, the chedda has been listed as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity, as the bridal costume of Tlemcen and the associated rites and craft skills[11].
The city of Mostaganem has a twin variant[12]. In the city of Oran, some brides opt for a Tlemcenian or Mostaganem chedda, rather than the white dress😂😂😂😭🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿

I remember my ex wife wearing the chdda in our traditional Moroccan wedding.. My friends from London have never seen anything like this before.. Not only she wore it, her mother did in her wedding, grandmother too, and so forth, following tradition is always beautiful no matter what time or place or centres you are born.. This video you broke down really good habibi.. also just to add, these chdda are really heavy like you wont believe.. she was complaining all night about it I told her enough with the whining she made me wear it behind closed doors I took everything what i said back lol
hahah that's amazing
During the “month of gratitude,” I am grateful for my parents that taught us girls to know our worth, to prepare for the future and to ask what are the intentions of a man whom wants to date or marry us. In fact, it was the first question my mom would ask my guy friends. They taught us to wait till marriage. My father’s advice was “Let a man come to you.” Although I’m not Arab, I find it quite beautiful that there are so many similarities between our cultures/way of life. Arabic has such a beautiful way of expressing one’s feelings and this singer expressed and represented women beautifully.
U are the best ❤✔
Love you from morocco 🦋🇲🇦🇲🇦🔥
i love the different perspective you brought to the title of the song i only saw it as naive but it also makes sense with intentions and in both ways it has a powerful and meaningful message . lots of love from morocco
The best reaction that i have been waiting for .. keep up the creativity. Love and respect from Morocco 🇲🇦
Thank you for your reaction. Let me explain the story that Manal wanted to share with this song and video. The story of the sheikhas, moroccan women artists that can only dream of having a love life because of the reputation that a sexist mentality is still giving them. Manal interpretation is of a sheikha and her friends, and the elder women you see are real life sheikhas. She dreams of her wedding that all men keep promising her, being happy with her friends and family, but the guys follows society and either dump her or just leave her hanging there, and at the end they are all sad because they realize that that is the life that they will have for choosing to follow their passion.
Sex outside marriage is not love. It's just a way to make you cheap and easy for scumbags who will take advantage of you as happened with this poor girl...what our religion teaches is that if a man really loves you he will come and ask for your hand from your family like a princess, not by having sex with you on the street like dogs.
The way you’re explaining the song and our traditions is so beautiful thank you I love it ❤️🇲🇦
I was waiting for the episode and finally, love and respect from my country, Eritrea ❤❤
This is the moroccan queen mentality and personality, I'm. Proud to be a Muslim moroccan woman . And I love your reaction guys, it's so lovely

Great reaction. Indeed, at our best, men and women are a complementary team. And that t-shirt with the flowers, Loush. Love it! I don't suppose that is available online.

top bro😍😍❤❤
I did a reaction to this but did not use the CC. I can get the CC through screen record. I typically download the video which mostly does not include CC material. For me it allowed for questions to be asked and I used the scenery and body language to interpret. Sometimes, I tell my viewers if I read the captions then I miss the visuals. I'm at the 2:46 mark but will watch to the end. Thanks for the lessons.
OMG!! love your video
From 🇲🇦
Honestly we need more men like you Loush especially in our arab countries. I mean a man who understands and respects women 👌💖💖💖
Both Ibby and Loush are good examples of how a husband can be...no one is perfect but I do respect how they are. Since I don’t have any brothers and my parents have passed away, I may just have to ask them to interview the next guy I date or wants to marry me. 😂🙏🏽
@@isabellancali5388 yes I agree . Do it girl hahaha
@@nourheneletaief2549 😉😂
You are right👍, but we want and we do not need
This is my opinion🌼
Good job guys.
This singer always involves moroccan tradition its amazing
I just love how Loush explains his version or interpretation of the song as a man while Ibby agrees but pokes fun at him! 🤣😊
Maaaaan I love your perspective. Just a little notice: she means by "tmer werd w henna" marriage and she is telling him that if you think i am just waiting for your call to come running to you you are wrong, i want you to come to my house do the right thing and ask to marry me , i want "al halal" not to be your mistress. Thank you for your amazing reaction. We Moroccans love you 🌷

The best reaction I have seen
Totally agree with you 🤍
Bro we miss the reaction of Moroccan rap 😒 ya wayloo it's long time
Niyyah as you said means intention in arabic.
Niyyah means innocent or naive (but also intention) in the moroccan dialect because a person that is naive/innocent has pure intentions.
Thank you for you Bouchra from morrokko

Tell me why a man with a queen is constantly besieged by seagulls trying to lure him down into their filth. Unfortunately some seagulls wear plastic crowns.
