I don't typically comment, but I wanted to say your message to those experiencing grief was comforting. I had a stillbirth five days ago and it's been so hard dealing with the physical pain of recovery from a c-section on top of the emotional pain of losing my son. If anyone else is out there also experiencing this grief, please know you are not alone. We can get through this. ❤
Your message today caught me off guard. My mom passed 1 month ago from Alzheimer’s. It’s been a long hard journey with that disease. I would share your uplifting messages with my daughter as we both struggled with caring for my mom that we were slowly losing day by day. I thank you for your kind words. They do help. I have to go get a tissue now 🥹.
I am so sorry for your loss... I went through a similar journey with my mom too. 😌 Listening to Chris's messages of love and encouragement has been so important and comforting. I can assure you that Chris is genuinely carrying. We were blessed to meet him in person one day at Disneyland earlier this year and he is such a beautiful soul. I wish you and your family the best. Thank you to Chris as well. ♥️🌞💐
I'm right there with you. I lost a mom and a special needs brother, both of whom I was taking care of within a year and a half of each other. I need a tissue also.
I lost my son in 2019 . I usually go on RUclips to distract myself from overthinking , I stumbled upon this video today and was so comforted by the message discussing grief . I was not expecting that message, your words were so kind and thoughtful.
My husband of 41 years passed in November. We were just at Disneyland in May of 2023. He was 65 and was superfit. We went to Disney World for our 40th for 10 days! Thank you so much for your message today. I was sad I was wondering if I would ever go to a Disney Park again. Everything you said was spot on and I have so many wonderul memories of him with me at Disney. We were able to go on Splash mountain last year and we bought t-shirts for our final ride. Mine said one last splash his said briar patch farewell tour. We took before and after picutures and sat in the front of the log! We were soaked but we had a wonderful time. Thank you for reminding me of these wonderful memories.
Such precious and priceless memories of your husband. Thank you for sharing these memories with us. Please do go back to Disneyland. It may be a little sad but it will also be joyous!
Yes, Food Part II. Chris, while the quality of your content is off the hook, the single best part of each and every post is your affirmation. It never ceases to touch me in some way. Thank you for everything you do.
There's no way around it, but grief can just really, really suck. And it's a ever changing thing for us to go through. I lost my husband of almost 9 years to cancer 23 years ago. I've been a widow longer than we were married. We were very blessed with 2 sons who are now grown adults. Thank you Chris for your messages to all of us no matter what any of us might be going through or not going through. Your messages never fail to lift me up on days i didn't realize my spirit needed a little cheering up so to speak. It's never a accident that i tune in to either just watch a recent video post or I'm catching up on videos of how your messages deliver that little cheer i needed to hear. I so, so appreciate you, as well as your lovely sweet family for all that you do in sharing these videos with us all. You're amazing and our world is better because you're all in it with us. I have faith I'll be blessed to see you at one of the parks one of these years.
Lost my mom in 2022 and my special needs brother two months ago. It was a privilege to be with them not only their last years of life, but also their last moments. Looks like there were several of us who needed that message, Chris. Thanks for the encouragement.
Lost my brother in one of the most painful ways 2 years ago. You said brother first when listing those close to you who we may have lost. I really felt like you were talking to me. Thank you for your loving kind and encouraging words (always) Chris. Your videos and your family bring much regular joy. Can’t thank you enough. ❤❤❤
Chris, thank you for offering such compassionate and wise words to your viewers, fans, and followers. Your heart is huge, your wisdom is immense, your humor is uplifting, and your singing is FABULOUS! I am filled with gratitude for all you do. Thank you for entertaining us, for educating us, and for those of us going through difficult times, thank you for reminding us that we are not alone.
Food Part 2, and 3 and 4, ill watch them all.😂 I lost my sister Nov 12, 2010 to suicide, which was devastating. But then I lost my dad (91 yrs old) to prostate cancer last Nov, and of course on the 12th, and life has been a roller coaster since. Like you said, one day I smile when i see his picture, then another, I'm the saddest I've ever been. I feel so blessed to have had him my 47 years of life, but the grief is still so raw. Thank you for your words. Sometimes hearing something like that from someone you've never met, hits differently. We all have lost someone, friend or family, and it's good to be reminded that so many know exactly how we're feeling. We're never alone. Thank you again. 😊
Thank you for your message. I lost my youngest son on May 14. Still struggling with the "Could of, should of, would of" Thoughts. I don't know if you read these comments. But I do always value your personal messages!
Food Part 2!! Your message today was a truly one of a kind. I love how you take the time in each video to share your inspiring words of wisdom. Everything that comes from you is like listening to a message from church. I'm going to a funeral later this week as a friend of mine's mom just lost their life to cancer. It's been a traumatizing one lately in my life. Thank you for showing your compassionate heart!!
I always look forward to your message, today it really resonated. My mom died two months ago and I have been struggling with grief. Thank you for the love today. Thank you for you!
Food Part 2! My family and I walked past you as you began this vlog. We wanted to say hi but we didn’t want to interrupt your video. After hearing your message, I wish that we had. I lost my dad to a brutal battle with cancer in August 2021 and he wouldn’t have hesitated to stop you to say hi. Thank you for all that you do.
My mom loved Disneyland. She died December 24, 2022. Going to the park has helped so much, but grief is really hard. Thank you for your words. Would love to see another food video - Food Part 2.
My grandfather passed away on October 31st and it’s been a lot harder to hand to move through the grief than I expected. Your videos are very uplifting and your messages bring so much joy. Thank you for all your hard work on these videos. Yes, definitely a Food Part 2!
Hey, I love your disposition and the way you love Disneyland, my wife and I especially love when you talk to us about how important we are. We always tear up when you go on with your conversations about how important we are good job Chris keep up the good work no other RUclipsr does what you do. Also I like the mash ups you do with other RUclipsrs. It’s always refreshing to see you guys meet and have fun together.
Wow...thank you! I was not expecting to cry watching this video. Thank you for your lovely words. My mom passed 4 years ago. I totally agree with you about living life how she would want me to. She loved Disney and I try to go as often as possible and take my 6 year old son with me. God bless you and sending you love for your loss.
Aww I've watched enough of your videos and can kinda tell something is a little heavy on your heart ❤ I too am familiar with grief. We are all in this together, your internet fam is always here for you 🫶🏼 Love your videos Chris! Thanks for the in depth look at the places to eat in DCA! You are pure empathy and kindness in walking form.
Thank you for your words about grief. You are so right, we have to go on living life. My wife died in February, and you have given me some smiles and helped me to remember her and her love for Disney. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Chris for the tip. We went this past Saturday and watched this on the way to DCA. We went to Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta and found the crowds to be just as you said. There would be a swell of people that would quickly dissipate. Thanks for the tip.
Beautiful message today. Lost my nephew 2 years ago on July 9th. Really reminded me to honor him by finding joy in life and not sweating the small stuff. Looking forward to trying the pasta/pizza hidden gem next time we are in DCA. Blessings to you and your family.
Seems as there are a lot of people that felt your message about grief and you can add another to that list. I lost my wife unexpectedly last year at the age of 51. You are right about the tears as I just saw a picture of her today and was totally fine, I heard your message and am a grown man sitting here with leaky eyes. Thank you for being you!
Love your videos and love your messages. My girlfriend recently lost her dad, so I thank you for instilling these little tidbits of love/hope/encouragement in your videos.
Sometimes I grieve someone I lost, which is parts of the person I was. Your message rings true, to live in a way as that person would be happy to see me live, even if it was a younger me from the past, cuz he had dreams for good things for sure. Never totally lost I guess, thank goodness. Best wishes to you and yours Chris!
about your affirmation, it kinda hit me hard, i'm having a tough time even remembering what my dad sounded like, i do remember at his funeral back in 2014 or 15 one of his friends told me that if they close their eyes i sound exactly like him but the thing is i'm also having a hard time with memory, my memory is starting to go and i'm only 42 but i do remember one time in disneyland we were in the park sometime in the afternoon eating lunch and we had been there since the gates opened and i was sitting at the table dozing off and my face almost went right into my food until my dad caught my face with my hand and flicked the back of my head saying wake up lol
Food part 2. Also, thank you for the message. My dad passed away 2.5 years ago but I still cry at the drop of a hat, so you got me. Your message is heart felt. I always tell myself the same, when I'm feeling down on myself and I'm missing him hard. He was an exceptional man and I want to continue to prove myself to him by being my best. You're an amazing man yourself, Chris and you are so appreciated!♥️✌️🐭
I just wanna say thank you ❤. I just lost my best friend in the world and your message was very sweet and made me tear up in a good way so thank you. I am a disney kid that is now a disney adult and I just love watching you. My wife, kids and I go once a year to both California parks and I find your videos very very helpful. Thank you again for being a amazing person. I love you!
The chilled soba noodles is my absolutely favorite thing to eat there! ................ And then I caught your part on grief. Thank you - my husband is close to death and we're all grieving.
Food part 2! Also I was just thinking of my departed sister yesterday and for you to give that heartfelt message made me feel better Thank you so much for all you do, 😊❤
Chris, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know your words of loss comes from the heart as you have experienced it personally. Chris, and I'm talking to you...we think you're amazing and thank you for being you and sharing your life and family with us. Food Part 2.
Thank you for the message on grief. My sweet mother in law died a few weeks ago. Our society doesn't acknowledge grief enough. We're expected to be sad for a couple of days and then move on but grief doesn't work that way. Your message warmed my heart. Thank you again.
food part 2....Thank you for your kind Grief message. So often people do not know what to say to you. Many Hugs and love to all of us who are experiencing it.
I really appreciate the message you had in this video. I lost my grandfather earlier this year, and it has been very difficult. His birthday (July 4th) just passed and it hurt because he was really looking forward to his 91st birthday. Like you said, there are days when the memories make me happy and days when they make me sad. The first year is always the hardest to get through without a loved one and going through the motions can be hard. Thank you for addressing this. It really does help. ❤
Hey Chris I think you should do Best food part 2, I've been going to Disneyland since I was a kid back in the sixties in my opinion the best place to eat in Disneyland is the Blue bayou restaurant, if you're going to spend money on a trip to Disneyland you should eat there at least once on your trip it's a awesome restaurant great atmosphere great food great service and to me that's the best place to eat at all of Disneyland. The best place to eat in DCA is the breakers that is the food place for people because they make your food when you order it it's not sitting around like at your Galaxy burger place in Tomorrowland. So the breakers is a nice place to either pick up something to go or to eat there they have lots of places to sit down and slide and also to sit down outside and it's never crowded. To go to The breakers you go through the entrance right by the rapid ride in DCA you go through the turnstile take the first left and the second left goes right into the breakers, so I guess you never know about the breakers restaurant Chris, now you can check it out and share it with everybody so they can also go to The breakers, DJ Ray Modesto California oh keep up the good work.
One tip (that worked before the pandemic at least) If you go though the Park Entrance to the Grand California (it is up around the bend from soaring,, kinda across from Grizzly Rapids) and turn to your left and go all the to the end of the colonnade there is a quick service restaurant that is never crowed . Ask for the loaded beef nachos (secret menu item) They also have hamburgers chicken etc.. and included drink refills. There are tables inside and some outside. Yes to Food pt. 2
Chris... My brother passed away a couple of weeks ago. Your message hit to the heart. Thank you for always taking time to speak so compassionately. It truly does make a difference.
Food part 2! My boyfriend & I love the inspirational messages in your videos. My husband lost his battle with depression in July of 2010. We lost my dad in April 2023 to cancer. And my sweet kitty cat passed away a week ago today. This message hit hard. ❤️ Thank you for all that you do! It would make our day to run into you on our visit next month!
Food part 2!!! Also your message about grief really hit today. I lost an aunt a week ago and I've been struggling with grieving her. Thank you for your personal messages, it keeps your page so really and makes me feel so connected when watching.
Excellent Chris! I love your Disney content! Most of all, we could be touring a parking lot and your positivity and compassion would shine the brightest! Love Disney and love your positive message more. My, now, daily visitation in a tough world.
Food Part 2 Your family-friendly videos and genuine heart always make me happy. Thanks for uplifting people. I'm so sorry for your own personal loss. The way you've dealt with it is inspiring.
Yes FOOD PART 2! Thanks for your message. We are planning a trip to Disney. Will be the 1st trip with mom, without dad, since he passed. Actually had to cancel our previously booked trip with him because he passed that week. My obsession for Disney came from him. Going to be bittersweet being there with our kids, and knowing dad missed out on experiencing it with them.
Love your comments about grief thank you i lost my sister from covid my brother last year and mother this year grief is very hard at times from losing soo much we are planning a trip this year end of july love your videos thank you
I would love to see a part 2! And maybe sometime, for those of us who have severe food allergies, you could show the allergy-friendly menus that are available at some of these restaurants!
Food part 2 please 🙂 and thank you for being one of the nicest most genuinely caring people I know I’ve never met you but I honestly feel like I have so I will say the most genuinely kind hearted person I ever met 🙂
Walking through Grizzly Peak and Condor Flats is one of the overlooked gems of California Adventure! Shade, smells like pine, an amazing soundtrack coming through the speakers, plus Grizzly River Run. Just love it!
Thank-you for the personal message. I lost my brother in 2005 and my mother in 2010 (both to cancer). Disneyland was a memorable trip for us where I was young. Anyway - Thank-you. I'm headed to Disneyland in August from Vancouver, BC. Can't wait to try your recommendations. Thanks.
Omg!! That was so crazy!! My husband passed away a couple months ago and I planned this trip so that I could take my children out of this very depressing situation we've been in and I'm watching your videos so that I can learn about Disneyland and the restaurants and your message popped up and absolutely blew my life away!!! Just incredible!! Thank you ♥️
Chris, you are the best ! Thank you for all your hard work. Thank you for all your messages to people. It was so great to see you by the magic shop on Main Street!
Food part 2 please. And the resorts. Then do WDW! 😂 Thank you for your thoughtful comments in every video. One of our favorite parts, always! Blessings to you and your beautiful family, here and in heaven ❤
Thank you Chris for all of your videos! I moved from California to Virginia about 3 years ago and when I'm feeling homesick, I watch some of your videos and they make me feel like I went to Disneyland and walked around with you having a good time. Lots of love to Amanda and Miles! Always love videos when they appear by special appearance 🤩
Food part 2! And allergy free please. I have been many, many times needing gluten free and Disneyland and CA are always amazing about it. I have never had any issues ❤
I agree, Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta is the best. Never crowded and plenty of seating. I get the Four-Cheese Roasted Garlic Chicken Pasta every time. And Food Part 2.
You are loved. 💚💙

💚💙
Food part 2!
My boyfriend & I love the inspirational messages in your videos. My husband lost his battle with depression in July of 2010. We lost my dad in April 2023 to cancer. And my sweet kitty cat passed away a week ago today. This message hit hard. ❤️
Thank you for all that you do! It would make our day to run into you on our visit next month!
Food Part 2! Thank you for your message to us all about grief. It's important for us all to remember we aren't alone.
Chris, you’re just the best kind of person. Full of great info and humor, and full of love and support. I’m grateful for everything you share
Food part 2!!!
Also your message about grief really hit today. I lost an aunt a week ago and I've been struggling with grieving her. Thank you for your personal messages, it keeps your page so really and makes me feel so connected when watching.
Thank you for your words of comfort, Chris. I genuinely hope that time has brought peace to you, and to all who have experienced loss.
Excellent Chris!
I love your Disney content! Most of all, we could be touring a parking lot and your positivity and compassion would shine the brightest! Love Disney and love your positive message more. My, now, daily visitation in a tough world.
Food Part 2! I always appreciate the time you put aside to say a few words of support and encouragement.
Food Part 2
Your family-friendly videos and genuine heart always make me happy. Thanks for uplifting people. I'm so sorry for your own personal loss. The way you've dealt with it is inspiring.
Chris I hope you know that YOU are amazing and YOU are loved!❤️thank you for always making my day
Yes FOOD PART 2!

I have not been to the Magic Kingdom since 2006. Thank you for your posts. It's time to get back!
Walking through Grizzly Peak and Condor Flats is one of the overlooked gems of California Adventure! Shade, smells like pine, an amazing soundtrack coming through the speakers, plus Grizzly River Run. Just love it!
Me too
Thanks for sharing your words on grief. Yes, to Food part two.
Love that you mentioned bringing food into the park to save money! I would love a video on your top "on a budget" tips for a Disneyland trip!!

Camping food would probably be good to bring in. Calorically dense so its not too heavy and you dont need to stop too long to eat.

I agree, Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta is the best. Never crowded and plenty of seating. I get the Four-Cheese Roasted Garlic Chicken Pasta every time.
