Hi Mohd, welcome to the channel. I think that depends on the food I feed. I usually feed the purple Saki Hikari fancy goldfish food or Hikari Lionhead. I made videos on these foods so check them out! Subscribe for new videos!
i am from kathmandu nepal. i lost a lot of my fancy goldfish during the winter in my pond. i don't know if it was my mistake. coz i fed them once a day or because my water was bad. i would much rather have fancies than kois. coz i find them cuter.
Hi arifbobnp, how cold was the water over the winter? If it was below 10 degrees Celsius you didn't have to feed and food would have just polluted the water. Water changes are also very important to keep the water suitable for fish. Subscribe for more informational videos!
@@peterskoiandgoldfish8261 it's about 2°C - 12°C in winter. can i still keep em?? i did do water changes. but i noticed that even tho they could survive the winter but because of the cold their immune system gets very weak that they don't survive small changes like how they do in warmer temperature. am i wrong?
If the water is cold, they cant digest their food so you shouldn't feed. If you do change the water, it must be similar temperature and also toxin free. I use a water conditioner whenever I change the water.
Hi Tessioneill, welcome to the channel. I had a thermometer in the water all winter and the temperature never dipped below 40 degrees. Subscribe for more videos!

Thanks damoun! They are all very healthy. Check out the video of when they were babies! It was my first video.
I love oranda and ranchu there’s are so cute ❤️
I think Ranchu are my favorite. I've had the one in this video for over 3 years! She was bought with the parents of the other fish.

if like half survive. does that mean all would have survived? and it was because of the water quality??
