Some of the smaller back waters are froze by me. I saw a picture of a few guys out on one of the bodies of water. Sure it's only 3 feet deep there, but it's still too early by me to be ice fishing! I would bet the ice wasn't more than 2 inches thick because those just froze on Friday!

Couple smaller shallow lakes by me in Taylor County had a good 3-4 inches this past weekend! Felt great to get out and get some fish!

Very jealous. We were close here before the 40's hit. Now it looks like after next week I'll be out.
