I think for the time, getting full official art portaits of characters that you've probably only seen from the chest up would've been cool back then. Getting to actually see full art of your favorite character would be kinda neat!
It also unlocks some bonus maps so it's not totally useless! Though as a kid I loved looking at all the character portraits, I just thought they were so pretty haha

@@kratosrules33Yeah, you need a completed file to play trial maps or import to Radiant Dawn. There's one for each of the three GBA FEs, and since Binding Blade was never officially released, its map gets unlocked for linking at all.

I am mad at myself cuz I sold my copy many years ago. I originally pre-ordered it from EB Games. But sold it years ago cuz I needed some cash. Kicking myself now cuz it is worth probably 5x more than the price I got.
Glad mario tennis added stuff for swirch online gbc though I dont think fire emblem gba had on switch online. I did like path of radiance way more than three houses/engage.
I played Path of Radiance as a rent but I never finished it because someone stole all the copies of FE:PoR and some other games. Years later I did end up with the first GBA game on which cemented my love for the series and even more years later I did link my FE to the Mario Kart bonus disc however I don't know if it worked, at that point I've already played FE7 to death (more than - lost count- playthroughs finding more music, units, maps and support dialogs) so it was a few years since I left FE7 in peace.... so playing it again for the Mario Kart Bonuses felt like a huge task since I felt very rusty and I don't have the same amount of free time as I use to. I did play the game again last year but I completely forgot about the bonuses, I must have been playing without using them or was using them without knowing about it. P.S. I still hope to get my hands on Path of Radiance and it's Wii sequel and as for the bonus disc I think I still have it somewhere, it was already in a bad shape when I got it, actually I only got it for Mario Kart I just happended to found out later that it had some stuff for FE7. Normally I just casually playing FE7 (and other Gameboy games) on my freetime at work, I was thinking that if I were to dig deep again into FE7 in the future I would play the game in the WiiU port that I got before the eShop closed down. I completely forgot about the DLC, so I might as well give my GBA copy another spin. - - - - - - - - - I had the cables for Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, sadly by the time I got all 4 cables I rarely had friends to come over and play with. The most I got out of the cables were for PAC-MAN Vs. with my sisters (they rarely play games) and connect for bunus stuff like Metroid Prime/Fusion Also did the LoZ:Windwaker GBA thing but it was to much of a hassle playing by myself.
