Zither is the single most perfect instrument for this incredibly beautiful sad song, in my opinion.
The end just sounded like it's raining and dreary, but an emotional scene, and then once that finishes the sun comes out, and the movie ends with the perfect happy ending. That's what the song reminded me of.
