This is technically Battlefield 1's first Assault Rifle... does it fill the void that perhaps has been missing from the weapon line up? I think it adds something unique to the Medic class overall - let me know your thoughts! 😀👍
Westie no, it wasn't missing if you can consider the M1907 sl sweeper automatic setting, if this gun was single fire ( sl sweeper) then it was missing the whole time
Is it good?? IS IT GOOD?? Yo this gun is absolutely sick... I had the best feeling that it would be. It's the best thing to happen to Medic since sliced bread. Not only do I now feel like I can stand a chance in close range against other classes, I feel like I can actually be aggressive. Don't worry, if you're out there on Xbox, I won't be so aggressive that I forget to play my role and keep you alive ;) Sooo glad to see it. Amazing damage, great manageable recoil- honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it got nerfed. Already got close to 2 service stars with it from just playing yesterday.
On Xbox all of BF1’s DLC other than currency was completely free for a couple days as long as you had a Gold. I was t sure how it worked at the time and so I knew that I didn’t have BF1 but for some reason I thought the DLC would give the game so I downloaded it. Now that BF1 is free I got the Obrez and Fedorov.
I love that dice made it so you can play all maps in a rotation (vanilla+dlc) this just makes the game so much more fun for me and its really a benefit for premium when you in the last dlc have around 30 maps if they continue tiving 6 dlc maps every dlc.
They arent in the same server tho? i tried to use the any maps option but the new maps never come to vote. they don't have official servers with all apparently
The federov did have a detachable box magazine, however the nature of its parts, not being interchangeable, and the cost of production meant the federov was issued with a single detachable magazine that the soldiers would reload through stripper clips, similarly to how the semi-automatic predecessor to the avtomat was reloaded. I'd imagine taking the box magazine of fallen comrades would be quite popular among troops issued with the federov.
Is it just me or is the clipping of objects kinda fucked on the new maps. My character is finding it really difficult to jump over the most simple ledges.
I just unlocked the Trench version today and it's awesome! I'm still adjusting to the recoil but I appreciate the rate of fire immensely. As a level 50 Medic with 20 stars for the 1907 Sweeper, I've been eagerly awaiting another high-capacity (relatively speaking) full-auto rifle for the Medic class.
I used this rifle yesterday for the first time that after a while I actually forgot I was a medic. I started to play like a support player. It's very OP.
Its a good gun but the new operations are horrible. Attackers have no hope. Maps are too open and snipers rule. Won all my games as defender and none as attackers.
robert johnson yup i played this opperation and lost at the first sector u had to run acros a open field snipers and supports kept killing me no cover at all and then i zoomed out to see the whole map and the whole map was like that 😂 #needcover
This is a fully automatic Battle Rifle, not an Assault Rifle. An assault rifle is select fire capable and also fires an intermediate cartridge. Rifles like the BAR, FG42, M14, G3 are battle rifles because they use full power rifle rounds. Rifles like the STG44, AK, M16, L85, ect. are assault rifles because they use cut down cartridges. The Fedorov used the 6.5mm Arisaka round available at the time. While the 6.5 Arisaka was a lower power round than others, it was still meant as a full power round for the Arisaka 38. The Fedorov would be the world's first select fire Battle Rifle but not an assault rifle.
Only issue. the modern standards for an Assault rifle didn't exist at the time. The 6.5mm Arisaka, FOR IT'S TIME, was an intermediate round, but obviously today it's a full power rifle round. So it's a grey area.
Yes they are and if you looked at a heatmap for one second youd see the avtomat falling short in nearly every distance. the only thing going for it is its large mag.
Pintexx Just have one of you friends go on opposite team in giants shadow, get 2 planes, and go behind to the British spawn behind F, there is plenty of flat space for him to land, so you can get those 2 kills quick
Pintexx i got it on some map where everyone was flying with that new bomber. I got my lewis gun ready, fired them with hundred magazines and then i got two planes destroyed. There were tho allies planes firing them too, so they weakened them already. Just keep firing and youll get it
First round with the Trench variant, got 2 really big kill streaks on Monte Grappa Frontlines. First one, was defending the Telegraph in the fort, simply peeked, hosed, healed, and repeated, outgunned players of all classes. Second one, was harassing the trench next to the bunker at the objective just before the Telegraphs. Same strategy, same result.
The medic class desperately needed some help in terms of available weaponry. But now, since a lot of the other medic guns are outclassed by everything else, it almost makes it mandatory to run this rifle
villen but medic has always been the most effective class. Just do the weapon assignments for it and see that even the weird ones no one uses can be godly if you use them right. Until the Federov the ML1907 SL Sweeper was the best non-OP gun in the game imo
When I did the assignment for this gun I was wrecking ppl with cei regotti. I told myself if the Fedorov is bad I'll main the cei. Fed just too damn good
Was using it for the first time last night, ran round a corner and shot my way through 3 enemy soldiers, and still had about 13 rounds left, needless to say I was very satisfied with the weapon, I think this gives medics a really good chance against assault players myself.
Do you think the M1909 Benet-Mercie will get a buff in the new weapons patch? i'd really like to try out the Chau-chat optical, but I seriously cannot nail 15 players in a single round with that gun... it's all over the place with accuracy.
This gun is amazing. I don't think it will need a nerf either. It absolutely blows from mid to long range. Even if you put it in semi auto, it's more accurate but it's still just so weak. It's a monster at close range though no doubt. I got this gun first. Now time for the other medic rifle. Anyone have a review of the other one?
when bf1 released, I was so hyped for it, then I grinded the hell out of it, and maxed out everything, now there's nothing to do. I have to buy dlc just to have more stuff to do
Unlocked this gun yesterday, and took a bit to get used to. However, once I figured it out, it was super fun to use as I typically play more Agressive overall. Great video as always Westie!👍
dirtygore depends on which autoloading 8 ur talkin about. The one with a box mag maybe but the other 2 variant have the fastest ttk ingame and beats the ttk of the automatico.
AL8.25 has a faster time to kill than fedorov avtomat there is nothing to do about that. AL8.35 Variants have faster time to kill too but happen to have only 5 shots in the integrated magazine.
Good overview on the Fedorov Avtomat. As you mentioned its the first medic weapon where I feel I can compete in close quarters. Unlike the other classes medics need to keep and eye on others for heals and revives...so a reasonably powerful weapon is much appreciated.
I've unlocked the trench and I love it, it feels powerful but not to the point of being overpowered. It's quite versatile once you get the hang of it and man does it chew through the enemy in a well placed flank!
The m1907 is about as automatic as a rock. Sure, it has full auto fire but it's fire rate is low and meant to be shot in small bursts or semi automically.
Its fantastic, if you're used to the sweeper, you need to get used to 4 hits instead of 3, but after that, its a game changer. The extra 5 rounds in the mag over the sweeper is incredible.
check wiki: "Fedorov set to the task upon his return to Russia in January 1916. He retained the mechanism of his semi-automatic rifle, with the major addition of a selective fire switch. The fixed magazine was replaced by a curved 25-round detachable box magazine, that was fed through the breach via 5 round stripper clips.[6]"
What weapons do you guys think we're going to see in Turning Tides in December. For a side arm that can add the Nambu pistol (1906-1945) or the Type 26 Revolver (1893-1945) if we see the Japanese Empire show up in the DLC fingers crossed. I can't think of many weapons that fit into the "theme" of turning tides Edit-Very off topic I know that lol
If only the devs made that gun historically accurate and made you reload it with stripper clips and made it overheat in full auto... but hey if you made it historically accurate you'd lose business to COD right. I lose faith in this game with each update.
The game isn't supposed to be historically accurate. if you want that, play Verdun instead of whining. And I can easily tell you that making the gun overheat would mean that there would be many guns which would also have to overheat, which would make them useless and make the game not as fun. You see why most games don't let that happen? You can only make a game so realistic until it starts ruining the fun. War Thunder, for example. Would you like to have your tank unable to move just because the game rolled a dice and it just so happened that now your tank is on fire because of a RNG saying that the engine overheated because you're in the desert? Would you like to get shot once in a game like BF3 and have to wait 2 real life hours while you wait for a helicopter to arrive and airlift you out of the area? I think you get the point. Stop whining, if you want so much realism, then go out and play Verdun, Arma or any Red Orchestra or Rising Storm games, Battlefield clearly isn't for you.
Also the gun CAN be reloaded by removing the magazine, the feature was there, it's just the Russian army didn't actually have enough magazines to make use of it. Remember, they had to hand tool most if not all of the weapon due to lack of industrial capacity, which also meant that it was not uncommon that a Federov magazine could not be used in another Federov. Balance wise that would completely kill the weapons use in BF1. It would be a glorified Cei-Rigotti with less power and accuracy.
I used the fedorov today and I have to give credit it is quite a good automatic rifle for a medic gun. Its kinda accurate in certain situations when your going for long range.
This gun is a god send, I was fine with the mondragon and seblestader pulling out clips on people but this takes it to another level. It's melts and I actually have a chance in close quarters. When I first unlocked it I went a frontline game of 78 and 24. Hoping to god they don't nerf it.
This weapon is okay, but i prefer the autoloading .35 , selb 1906 or the general Liu rifle. That being said I still like the weapon ,and I'm happy they added it. A lot of people don't like medic rifles ,so this weapon offers them a different playstyle.
I cant wait to see what the next set of guns will be in the next DLC. The top 3 I really really want to be in the next DLC, is the M1917 Enfield, the Canadian Ross Rifle, and the Martini Grenade Launcher.
The Federov has the exact same time to kill in close quarters as the Cei Riggoti and the M1907 sweeper. I believe that is the most significant detail that weapon reviews leave out. Granted it may not lose accuracy as much as those two rifles because it's a purpose built full auto but it's nevertheless interesting to me that Dice is playing with numbers in such a way to keep things in line but make the play feel different. I appreciate it truly. The Chauchat LMG is one of my favorites for a reason!
The Fedorov was a battle rifle due to its round and recoil characteristics, not an assault rifle, though that was the initial intention. Call it the Scar H of WWI. There are already 2 assault rifles in game: Ribeyrolles 1918 and the French contract select fire 1907 Winchester (real ROF is about double than ingame).
I feel they decreased time to kill with the new competitive mode they are pushing for, making it faster to kill someone by buffing everything across the board.
Technicaly this is the second assualt rifle with the first being the ribbeyrolles as it also has: select fire, a 25 box magazine and is also a rifle designed for automatic fire with the only really noticeable difference being it has a bipod
I've had some great play time on and really enjoy the new game mode. I get into games quickly and have had 20/5 kd highs. I love the snow! lol dice, keep it the way it is! 👍
The Fedorov seems like a weapon that can be best utilized if theirs another medic in the squad with a more mid-long range weapon like the Selby Optical.
Idk I'm excited because I had to stop playing Medic because I wanted to be able to vary my engagement range. But at the same time some of my favorite moments as medic are when you and you're squad are pinned down and people are dropping like flies so you have to keep reviving them and then someone jumps down and you whip out your pistol. The disadvantage of range made the Medic class more of a team play class. Now medic are just going to run around with rifle grenade and bandages. Not supporting their team, just going for the highest kill streak. I like the addition it should bring more medics but I feel like it's going to bring the wring kind if medics. Anyways just my thoughts
Would like to see more medic guns with this concept. Three candidates would be the farquar Hill rifle, Rossignol ent and assuming dice don't consider it an lmg, the Burton 1917 LMR
I played the dlc at like 12 pm yesterday and got killed by a dude that had 2 stars already on the fedorov optical. But i love this gun. It looks, sounds, and feels really nice. I went 50/25 as medic the first game i got it
I prefer the optical, it's more consistent at mid to long range. I also have no trouble with it at short range. The gun is beast and I don't see myself playing self loading rifles anymore.
Incredible gun. It completely changes the Medic strategy. I can be so much more aggressive in close, which suits my playstyle much more. A few times today, I had multikills, and then revived my teammate and moved on. So much easier than mashing the trigger on the autoloading 835 or whatever its called, hah.
Haven't reached to Medic class yet to unlock the Fedorov or the General Liu. Still working on getting the Optical variant of the Maxim SMG. 4 Tanks left to go. And Model 1900 is OP as hell. Kind of feels like having a martini-Henry with 2 shots when using slug variant.
The Fedorov is quite a good CQB rifle, and really suits my playstyle. However, when DICE drops the weapon balance update, they need to increase the minimum and maximum damage values of it, the 1907 Sweeper and Cei Rigotti so medics will have a fair chance against SMGs if they want to play aggressively with the guns designed for that role. If these guns aren't given a buff then the medic class's best CQB guns are rendered useless post-patch, especially against something like a hellreigel. Additionally, I think DICE needs to rebalance the Brusilov Offensive Operation, particulate on Galicia. I've played it 5 times and every time the attackers were unable to move on from the first map. Keep up the great work Westie!
The real fedorov does have a detachable magazine, only they were designed to the gun, and would generally not be interchangeable between different fedorovs. The original version used a 5 round built in magazine, fed by stripper clips and only had semi-auto. When Fedorov saw some real battles, he wanted to create a gun that is in between the LMG and the SMG, so he got his old Fedorov and put a detachable 25 round mag in it and gave it a full auto setting. He also wanted to change the round from 6.5x50mm Japanese to a more powerful 6.5x50mm Russian (or Fedorov) the gun is classified as a "Avtomat" (means automatic) and that name was used until the assault rifle came out and now the Russian word for "Assault Rifle" is "Avtomat"
Dojima thing is, it only makes 72 damage max with the new flak specialization, i hardly ever kill someone. It's the only think left with the new weapon assignments and it's so annoying, not even talking about the specialization assignments 🤦🏽♂️
Or just go into operations and find a map with lots of buildings, people usually get lit up trying to get inside on somewhere like St.Quentin Scar, even in the trenches it wouldn't be too bad
i didnt try it myself yet but i think best gamemodes for this are small gamemodes like war pidgeon, tdm or domination because the maps are small so its more likely for people to run into the wires and people often run around with low hp.
I've unlocked the trench variant but I haven't used it yet. I'm still grinding away at getting all the other weapons (including 2 of the they shall not pass stuff, lol). What I'm in awe about tho is the new "LMG" for the assault class. Pretty dope gun
Fedorov Avtomat could of been reloaded like any normal assault rifle today, with detachable magazine. The reason why it wasn't was due to shortage of material, where Russian army only issued one detachable magazine and combat load of stripper clips to push through the top. So it had two methods of reloading. Akin to Garand push from the top and detachable spring magazine.
Good job catching the historic way the gun was used in combat! The magazine was not removed from the gun to reload it. This was due to the fact it was of poor manufacturing quality. Every magazine had to be modify to fit into each guns chamber.
Boom boom westie boom boom, very good gun to use had more kill with this than any other when I played today I think my medic score will be going up and up thank you for your efforts
Its really fun to use. Pretty powerful too close up. I enjoy playing agressive medic and tbh I probably heal just as much if not more because I'm closer to the action.
i alread have the federov, obrez and the mg14 parabellum low weight variant. I got extremely lucky with the parabellum assignment, i hit a plane twice with an lmg got "Vehicle disabled" then just finished him off. I was able to kill a second plane by just fucking with it using the mg15 supressive variant, this dude was so pissed an LMG killed him and his plane. The chat salt was glorious.
This is technically Battlefield 1's first Assault Rifle... does it fill the void that perhaps has been missing from the weapon line up? I think it adds something unique to the Medic class overall - let me know your thoughts! 😀👍
Westie no, it wasn't missing if you can consider the M1907 sl sweeper automatic setting, if this gun was single fire ( sl sweeper) then it was missing the whole time
Westie I think it helps the medic class be aggressive and have a fighting chance
It's basically one of the best weapons in the game, this dlc introduced unique weapons
Westie do a guide for the parabellum low weight
Westie trying to get it now lol
While medics are running around with WW1 assault rifles, I'm still waiting for a revive
Gustavo Perez do you play on pc?
not when I am playing medic
Gustavo Perez Says the guy who's specialization is skipping revives and making the team loose.
Gustavo Perez TRUUUUUE
Do you play PC? I'm a good medic. same with my platoon.
Amazing damage, great manageable recoil- honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it got nerfed. Already got close to 2 service stars with it from just playing yesterday.
Yeah it's a well-balanced weapon, too bad muppets are going to cry for a nerf as usual though.
Right man, I have a bad feeling they're going to try to mess with it
DeltaWarrior they better not nerf it because finally i can kill people with hellriegel
DeltaWarrior I'm on xbox as well.
@Drunk Cheers buddy :DD @Doable I KNOW DUDE!!
Imagine how cool it would be to find the first and only Hellreigal in existence. Just a thought
T-51B I haven't seen anyone write Hellriegel correctly in ages...
Some Austrian guy definetly has It sitting in his closet, not knowing the treasure he possess lol
if it ended up in Cuba its making coffee now :)
T-51B whoever has it might be in a corner
luc bos how hard is it to just type hellriegel
I'll say this, it's a great counter to the hellriegel.
no it isnt.
if you want to counter hellriegel go with AL8.25 or rsc
AL8.25 works too, I know from personal experience but as for the Avtomat: ...Yes it is actually :/
92ladderley
if the hellriegel player has got at least 78%accuracy whilest you got 100% your dead before he is.
Der Nerz Yes it is, it's better than than the autoloading 8 and outguns it.
Not the AL8 35 marksman or factory. Those 2 have fastes ttk ingame, even outguns the automatico.
the new dlc is so good,
findlay smith love the new assault rifle
findlay smith I agree, it's really good ,and the weapons are awesome.
And I actually enjoy the weapon assignments.
Haven't tried the support class assignments yet tho
findlay smith Volga river, galicia, and lupkow pass are all trash maps. The rest of the maps are good.
findlay smith yeah, my favourite map is probs Galicia. It reminds me of what I thought bf1 would be. Trenches.
Doesn't even matter if you don't have the DLC. Weapons should never be DLC content, only maps and maybe camos. EA is cancer
But in Bf4 the DLC‘s was At the end of Bf4 For free, two times.
The SL M1907 Sweeper uses megazines and have an automatic mode westie
Caio Lucas semi
sweeper is full auto, the other two semi. the trench is way better though, if you can spam the trigger fast
Caio Lucas it's a self loading rifle
Correct. Magazine fed with full auto fire despite what those two said.
Caio Lucas but not fast than this weapon
I love that dice made it so you can play all maps in a rotation (vanilla+dlc) this just makes the game so much more fun for me and its really a benefit for premium when you in the last dlc have around 30 maps if they continue tiving 6 dlc maps every dlc.
420 They're will be 24 new maps in total
They arent in the same server tho? i tried to use the any maps option but the new maps never come to vote. they don't have official servers with all apparently

Is it just me or is the clipping of objects kinda fucked on the new maps. My character is finding it really difficult to jump over the most simple ledges.
Muttface same with me on Xbox mate .
Yes and there are some invisible barriers I found that are really inconvenient. Like you throw a grenade and thin air throws it back at you
seems like the CTE failed a bit then haha
Muttface blame it on people who only play the CTE the play the maps and not actually test them
Muttface I got stuck on barbed wire until I died 😂😂😂
If only the servers were playable. I've only seen people complain in chat about rubberbanding and shitty connection
luc bos only problem I've had is a weird audio bug that's only present in the new operations
luc bos around 12pm every sever I jumped into kept saying I had 300-600 ping
Played for 3 hours and no one complained about connection or anything.
I played for a couple of hours and had some rubber banding maybe once every match but nothing to complain about
played for 2 days and it's all fine no one's complaining
I just unlocked the Trench version today and it's awesome! I'm still adjusting to the recoil but I appreciate the rate of fire immensely. As a level 50 Medic with 20 stars for the 1907 Sweeper, I've been eagerly awaiting another high-capacity (relatively speaking) full-auto rifle for the Medic class.
My squad healing objective isn’t counting but my che rigotti kill has been counted. Any help?
I used this rifle yesterday for the first time that after a while I actually forgot I was a medic. I started to play like a support player. It's very OP.
Its a good gun but the new operations are horrible. Attackers have no hope. Maps are too open and snipers rule. Won all my games as defender and none as attackers.
Agreed.
robert johnson we got slaughtered on defense in the russian civil war. My team was terrible though.
robert johnson I've won as attacker on the red army op and as defender on the other, problem is those sides always win every game I've played so far.
robert johnson yup i played this opperation and lost at the first sector u had to run acros a open field snipers and supports kept killing me no cover at all and then i zoomed out to see the whole map and the whole map was like that 😂 #needcover
I don't think so my team actually raped defenders in the ass, it's all about that team coordination
The hit detection in the real ww was better
lel
According to the codex of Battlefield1, the Ribeyroles ans the SL M1907 are assault rifle.
The 1907sl sweeper is fullauto and has a detachable Box Magazin
Even in the first day of its realise people were playing with the hellriegel
This DLC just made the game so much better!

So it's a grey area.
It is more of the father of the assault rifle
forgot to mention the auto-loading 8.35 and .25 extended are very viable CQC weapons,
Yes they are and if you looked at a heatmap for one second youd see the avtomat falling short in nearly every distance.
the only thing going for it is its large mag.
and for the optical idk wether it still is in basegame but in cte if you tap at 400rpm there is neither spread nor recoil at all.
krucdfumv But they are not as good as the fedorov. It great guns but the fedorov is better.
The airplane kills to unlock the MG 15 are IMPOSSIBLE SMH
Pintexx Its so easy I did it in like 20 minutes what are you talking about.
Pintexx Just have one of you friends go on opposite team in giants shadow, get 2 planes, and go behind to the British spawn behind F, there is plenty of flat space for him to land, so you can get those 2 kills quick
Pintexx just get in an aa gun and disable it and get out of the aa gun and destroy it with your lmg
Pintexx i got it on some map where everyone was flying with that new bomber. I got my lewis gun ready, fired them with hundred magazines and then i got two planes destroyed. There were tho allies planes firing them too, so they weakened them already. Just keep firing and youll get it
I somehow managed to get it within 3 matches. I'm just lucky i guess.
I love how many medics I've seen today in bf1 :D extraordinary
brilliant weapon easy unlock
Mocks do I need the dlc to unlock it?
yes im pretty sure buddy
First round with the Trench variant, got 2 really big kill streaks on Monte Grappa Frontlines. Sweeper sucked in comparison to the trench variant
villen your not serious right? Medic has access to some of the best weapons
ikr! medics have great guns just dont rely on hipfire too often and you wont get cucked 24/7
I love it for the ps4 version. Hope its not going to get a nerf.
Indescention Blank Many other weapons are getting a buff in the next update so idk
yes they are buffed into 10ahunter times and then good luck on the open ground you walk 80% of your playtime on.
Do you think the M1909 Benet-Mercie will get a buff in the new weapons patch? i'd really like to try out the Chau-chat optical, but I seriously cannot nail 15 players in a single round with that gun... it's all over the place with accuracy.

General liu rifle is like the selbstlader 1906 and mondragon had a baby, Super accurate, high damage, fast firing, Decent clip size. Love it!
Only the spread increase from Liu sucks
Justin Pinheiro damn sounds amazing I need to get on that ASAP
NickStone68 Liu is essentially Selbstlader 1906 with an extra shot. Enough said here
when bf1 released, I was so hyped for it, then I grinded the hell out of it, and maxed out everything, now there's nothing to do. I have to buy dlc just to have more stuff to do
Um, Westie.
There is another magazine fed-automatic firing medic rifle...
I like this new weapon addition ,it reminds me the golden age of the medic class in BC2!!!
Hopefully this patch will fix the M97!
Unlocked this gun yesterday, and took a bit to get used to. However, once I figured it out, it was super fun to use as I typically play more Agressive overall. Great video as always Westie!👍
I have allready unlocked the fedorov. And it was pretty easy if you ask me.
Yeah took me less than an hour.
Fedorov isnt that good...
AL8.25 outdamages it at close range with ease and on longer ranges the mondragon or rsc reign surpreme.
Der Nerz It destroys the autoloading 8 in close range
dirtygore depends on which autoloading 8 ur talkin about.
Unlike the other classes medics need to keep and eye on others for heals and revives...so a reasonably powerful weapon is much appreciated.
the DLC is amazing
It is pretty good, I'm definitely enjoying it.
I've unlocked the trench and I love it, it feels powerful but not to the point of being overpowered. It's quite versatile once you get the hang of it and man does it chew through the enemy in a well placed flank!
No magazine fed, fully automatic rifles you say?
So I guess the M1907 SL Sweeper doesn't exist anymore...
The m1907 is about as automatic as a rock. Sure, it has full auto fire but it's fire rate is low and meant to be shot in small bursts or semi automically.
i know right
Its fantastic, if you're used to the sweeper, you need to get used to 4 hits instead of 3, but after that, its a game changer. The extra 5 rounds in the mag over the sweeper is incredible.
i love it - really makes medic feel more exciting and interesting.
Basically an AK
Qwxzi not at all
Qwxzi I agree, it feels like a ww1 ak from the banana mag to the fire rate and recoil
How?
TheArklyte The AK and M1 gas systems are completely different.
The only similarity is that they both have gas pistons.
gelul12
STG 44 has absolutely nothing to do with AK.
I can tell for a fact, YES
great. doubt I'll be revived now lmao. I'll be 4m away and just ignore me.
check wiki: "Fedorov set to the task upon his return to Russia in January 1916. He retained the mechanism of his semi-automatic rifle, with the major addition of a selective fire switch. The fixed magazine was replaced by a curved 25-round detachable box magazine, that was fed through the breach via 5 round stripper clips.[6]"
This gun is going to become cancer in this game fast.
Why not the autismatico 1918?
Baker Tankersley no it is not . It's well balanced . Finally medics can have a chance of winning a gun fight against assault
Tank Hunter it's okay ,it's not really that good. The other medic rifles are still better.
Tank Hunter did you kill the light tank, like i asked you?
It really balanced considering it has very little range and accuracy
What weapons do you guys think we're going to see in Turning Tides in December. For a side arm that can add the Nambu pistol (1906-1945) or the Type 26 Revolver (1893-1945) if we see the Japanese Empire show up in the DLC fingers crossed. I can't think of many weapons that fit into the "theme" of turning tides
Edit-Very off topic I know that lol
Cant afford new dlc
Kool
I learn more about war history from your videos then I did in school.. thank you westie :)
Look up forgotten weapons. MASSIVE amounts of information.
LOVE the intro; so much info! I m a little late but still... great job!
I want to see the 1895 lee-navy straight pull
Didnt the sweeper thing have fully automatic fire + magazin-reload?
The Federov has the exact same time to kill in close quarters as the Cei Riggoti and the M1907 sweeper. I believe that is the most significant detail that weapon reviews leave out. Granted it may not lose accuracy as much as those two rifles because it's a purpose built full auto but it's nevertheless interesting to me that Dice is playing with numbers in such a way to keep things in line but make the play feel different. I appreciate it truly. The Chauchat LMG is one of my favorites for a reason!
When's the latest CTE update coming to consoles? I want to try out the new damage model and see how it affects weapon balance.
Use the automatic revolver for close quarters. Things a beast.
Technicaly this is the second assualt rifle with the first being the ribbeyrolles as it also has: select fire, a 25 box magazine and is also a rifle designed for automatic fire with the only really noticeable difference being it has a bipod
Is the Vetterli any good? I've unlocked it and so far I've done pretty well with it, but what do you guys think?
I've had some great play time on and really enjoy the new game mode. I get into games quickly and have had 20/5 kd highs. I love the snow! lol dice, keep it the way it is! 👍
i did unlock the fedorov avtomat today! so excited to use the weapon outside of the CTE
Love it, finally feel like I can get into some close combat and be of use
I like the angled foregrip on the Fedorov more than the vertical foregrip and red dot sight since it is more of a cqb weapon than the other rifles
I went 50/25 as medic the first game i got it
Did dice change the iron sights on this weapon?
jaylongee11 yes that i was thinking when i played the fedorov after the patch and i dont know why
I prefer the optical, it's more consistent at mid to long range. I also have no trouble with it at short range. The gun is beast and I don't see myself playing self loading rifles anymore.
Amazing weapon, definitely changes the approach towards playing as the medic.
My issue now though, is rather I should use the General Liu or the Selbslader 1906? I do love the 1906...
*tips fedorav*
love it! Very informative!
Any tips for the HE trip wire bombs? Takes me forever to get 15 kills, only have 4 or so 😩
Maps with lots of buildings is usually the most effective way, just place it beside a doorway and someone will eventually run into it.
ML10040311 ballroom blitz, top of the ladders by where b flag would be
i didnt try it myself yet but i think best gamemodes for this are small gamemodes like war pidgeon, tdm or domination because the maps are small so its more likely for people to run into the wires and people often run around with low hp.
I've unlocked the trench variant but I haven't used it yet. I'm still grinding away at getting all the other weapons (including 2 of the they shall not pass stuff, lol). What I'm in awe about tho is the new "LMG" for the assault class. Pretty dope gun
thanks for the history lesson, u the man!
Ima try and knock out the hardest weapon assignments first. So ima be shooting at some planes with lmgs.
The only weapons I've unlocked so far are the Model 1900 Factory, the Mosin Nagant Infantry and the Obrez Pistol
Dude the Autoloading 8.25 Extended is such an underrated weapon.
Is it good? That's the only weapon I've been using since unlocking some of the new dlc weapons
M1907 also has the magazine fed fully auto in medic but I guess that’s more of an smg?
One thing, It was reloaded through the top due to the machining Be cost of the magazines, But they could be removed
I cant explain how good this gun is. It truly is an amazing weapon.
I will unlock all of the specializations wen the next battlefield comes out 🤙🏾
Its really fun to use. Pretty powerful too close up.
I enjoy playing agressive medic and tbh I probably heal just as much if not more because I'm closer to the action.
I just unlocked the Fedorov and i love it
i alread have the federov, obrez and the mg14 parabellum low weight variant.
