Honestly, Bear's Den and Mudford and Sons (among others of course) carried me into adulthood when times were hard. Give them a listen and don't be afraid to stray from the beaten path. It's all worth it. Beautiful music just like Seafret :)

Seafret is sooooooo amazing, it's baffling that there so small because there music is like entrancing. I could listen to Give Me Something, and Explosions all day long. And even when I'm at a loud and crazy and claustrophobic swim meet, the music still makes me feel like I'm back at home in a knit sweater and wool socks drinking tea.

everytime i listen to seafret, all the feelings and hard emotions from past relationships that i thought i worked through come ROARING back to life in a visceral and painful way. it is beautiful how they can evoke this sort of thing out of me; a safe space to grieve loss that maybe was tucked away when it should have been tenderly held in the spotlight for awhile.
