Pacific Drive: The Midwest in America is the area between the two mountain ranges but above the Mason-Dixon Line and everything more or less west of the Mississippi River. Also above Texas and Oklahoma to some. But the Pacific Northwest is what we call Oregon and Washington State. Maybe some Northern California. Just played Inscryption about a month ago, and let me tell you, ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE EXPERIENCES YOU WILL EVER COME ACROSS. People that say stories are dead in games NEED to play this game. So unique. Just go in blind. Literally couldn't stop playing it, wanted to see where the story was going, and the game is actually fun and makes you want to come back for more. Easily in my top 10 of games all time. Oh, and Evil West WAS AWESOME. Good combat, very fluid, and the story is one you want to see more of. Honestly, wanted MORE of that story. Felt like they got cut short, but makes me want an Evil West 2. As for Midnight Suns, the story is ok, but IT IS A GRIND. If you're one that likes to 100%, have fun with the extra 40+ hours on top of the 40 hours to beat the base. SHOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN THAT LONG TO BEAT.
Evil West was great, but exhausting to play! And very hard as well! I think if it was slightly more accessible and a little more free roam (it is basically on rails through narrow corridors) it really could have made an impact. I really hope they make another.
Astro Bot deserves a slot, definitely deserves more sales and is one of the best few ps5 exclusives there are and it’s overlooked sales wise compared to others
I ignored Midnight Suns when it was released because I didnt think I would like an RTS kind of game or the card mechanic, but I got it on sale and really really liked everything about the game. Especially the fact that Nico's actress from the Runaways TV show provided her voice in the game.
I played "Nobody Wants To Die" some weeks ago. I took me around 6 hours to finish it. And it is one of the games, you do not stop playing, until you are finished. I was absolutely blown away by it. It is my personal Game of the Year.
Another game that is solid on PS5 is Teardown, that Voxel destruction game. Also the physical copy is starting to get spendy and hard to find if youre interested in that. I almost felt like it was going to show up here but if another is done, which it easily could be imo, then Teardown would make a great entry.
Marvel's Midnight Suns is a game that got slept on by a bunch of gamers and "experts" that didn't give the game a chance because of the card mechanic.Which i personally love that because as someone who is a card collector i was genuinely excited.I hope someday one day firaxis make a sequel to midnight suns which probably nobody else wants except for me because i dare and choose to be different.
Yeah, also had no interest, but mostly cause the mcu made me tired of marvel, yes, the card mechanic, and of course financial reasons... that said, I somewhat regret it a little to not gotten to it early. Give it to a fortnite marvel season to get me in the mode and finally try this game this year. It was absolutly addictive and always fun having something marvel that is not mcu related. Also only time I legit liked and care for morbius. XD Also hope that the game still gets a sequel someday anyway. I mean, Psychoanuts managed to get one after how many years? XD
@@PRATZP28 to each their own i personally love the card mechanic. But again that's only because I'm a card collector so for me it amplifies the gameplay.

Pacific Drive takes place in the Pacific North West, Cy. Or PNW, PN Dub. There are mountains and tall trees, whereas the Midwest is about as flat as possible.
I wouldn't be surprised if one of the reasons for the PSVR2 to fizzle out is its price point, as an accessory its more expensive than the console its made for which is virtually a cardinal sin.
I tried liking Rise of the Ronin but gave up on if after about 7 hours. It just was not compelling or entertaining to me. I also was bored by Inscryption. Kena and RE4 VR were awesome though.
If Nobody Wants to Die wasn't 1st person I probably would've given it a go, there's just been so few 1st person games I enjoy because I just prefer 3rd person and seeing the character I am controlling
I've never been more disappointied in gaming than I am now. Namura brought his madness into Final Filler 7 remake, VR is still an expensive gimmick, and if you find a game you actually like (and functions day one), here comes patches to ruin your fun. The Only game's on my radar is Evil west, FIST, and astrobot, but I'm not buying a console for only three games.
Nobody wants to die was actually doing well as far as word of mouth goes. And it’s on my list, just gotta weed out the 150 or so games in my backlog first
Lulz... I was only in the comments to make this point myself. The "midwest" stops at, like, Indiana; then you've got the Central Plains states; then everything from the Rocky Mountains on west is generally called West Coast. Not much of which is FACTUALLY accurate, mind you, lol... People do a lot of dumb things, geographically speaking: calling Ohio "midwest" when it's clearly well east of the middle of the country; or calling San Francisco "northern California" when it's barely north of the midpoint of the state.
@@mixedcompany3225 If you think specifics don't matter on thst side of the pond, mate, just you go and suggest to a Londoner that the city and county are the same thing.
Personally think evil west is mediocre. Nothing special but not a bad game. Inscryption is absolutely an incredible game and should be much higher on the list. Definitely one of the best Indie games in the last few years. Midnight suns was a fantastic game that is underrated with the combat system it created which mixed card games with a low level XCOM system.
I enjoyed FF7 remake and would have played the sequel rebirth if I didn't have to get a second mortgage to pay for it. It still has a massive price tag for just the basic version after being out for so long.
I bought Evil West somehow thinking it would have similar gameplay to The Surge (a franchise I very much love and feel is criminally and sadly underrated) but I couldn’t be any more wrong. It’s almost arcade like in its linearity, but decent fun nonetheless. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys turning their brain off and just killing some ugly creatures for a while.
The problem with FF7: Rebirth is - it's kind of boring and repetitive. I love FF7 and have for decades but I stopped playing about 60% through because it was exhausting with all the repetitive slog. They took a great game concept and weighed it down with MMO-like mechanics when exploring the map.
On chapter 13 of my bro's copy/PS5 (don't have a PS5 of my own or really want one right now as the ONLY exclusives I care about on it so far are FFXVI and 7 Rebirth and both I just borrowed my bro's PS5 to play) for a few months now...not really bad but like you said they add too much extra fluff and it's the kind of game I may only really play through thoroughly 1x only (especially given it's my bro's copy). The minigames alone add far too much unnecessary time (way too many and they are all annoying more so than fun) and the map itself is far larger than honestly need as both story and sub quest wise yo don't really do anything in about half of each field map...it's better than FFXV's super sized first continent and not tiny like XIII's hallways but imo something closer to XVI or (not FF) Tales of Arise would've been a better choice if not DQ11 for a SE developed game example (largest it should've went). Would've also let them save a lot on the budget too which is imo the main reason the game's aren't doing well for SE: the budget's just too big (on top of some long time fans not liking combat changes and the dementor/whisper BS (they haven't caused too crazy a change...yet from what I can tell but who knows if it'll be a 'remake' (as in changes to plot) or a 'retelling' (staying 99% faithful) by the end of part 3...those that wanted the remake for years wanted the later mor so than the former so they may check out due to that). Only reason I didn't beat the game yet even though imo it's good is because some other games came out as well that I wanted to play more (Trails through Daybreak and now Ys 10) and games generally take me a few months to beat nowadays as I don't spend every day for most of the day playing them...maybe 3 to 5 hours max once every 4 to 6 days if not longer).
Evil west was great but I hit a wall. I don’t know if it’s bugged but can’t get through it. Even watching it done there’s a level that is impossible and the players health is not affected i just can’t make it through. Die every time. I gave up
So, here's something slightly unrelated...I'm only just finding out that What Culture Gaming is a spin-off of I suppose their main channel just called What Culture, which seems to be like Watch Mojo. I never frickin knew that! 😂 Just happened to be recommended the main channel a few days ago.
I don’t think people don’t want to play these games, it’s more the fact that the PS5 was so hard to get, and still is. And the there is the PS5 Pro which is the same as the PS5 but with a disk drive that you’ll need to pay separately for. If Sony was thought more of how to advertise their products then maybe more people would have bought it. I was lucky to get a PS5 but not everyone is. We need more availability in these games is what I am saying.
I need someone to sell me on Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth better, because its so bloated, it's exhausting. It's an endless collection of minigames and it's just not fun. It's way too long for what it is, and it's almost like it hates you for trying to care about it.
I bought Rise of the Ronin and Rebirth, but I haven't started them yet. I also bought and haven't started Resident Evil 4, but I'm not sure if I will play in VR or not. Probably at least one playthrough though.
@CleetusVanDamme530 that's originally why I didn't start it, I hadn't been ready to put the time into it. Then I decided to wait for my PS5 Pro, but still haven't played it
Why the hell would anyone buy a game and then not play them... THEN buy another game when you still have a brand new game you havent even played? See what im saying? You are wasting your money. Why not buy them when they go on sale months or years later if you are not going to play them right away lol! Come on dude be smarter about your game purchases.
@coopstain1728 I bought every single one of those on sale. I am also for sure going to get to them. If they end up on a slightly better sale later and I lose out on $10, it means literally nothing. $10 is barely money. On top of all of that, if I spontaneously decide I want to play anything with a sizeable install, if I haven't bought it yet I can't have it installed and would not be able to play it when I want.
Rebirth didn't fly off the shelves because its the second in the trilogy after Remake, which people either bounced off or liked with little in between. For many, this isn't the remake they were asking for either, but I doubt that matters anymore. FF7 doesn't have anywhere near the name brand it used to either. FFXIV is the flagship of Final Fantasy now. Literally the only thing holding SE upright.
I know a guy that plays RE4 VR n he constantly raves about it, that and watching a certain type of film that's not worth mentioning on a family channel 😅
FF7 Rebirth just felt so far away from FF7 after Remake also not quite being what I was hoping for, though I still enjoyed it, I gave on on Rebirth. Personally I just wanted a remake of the OG with the updated combat and speaking dialog, I would have bene happy been happier with that but understand why some people still enjoyed it
The reason for the VR RE4 not doing so well is SONY FAULT. As much as I love Sony. Sony doesn't seem to like VR as they don't try to push the system treating it like the forgotten PSP/Vita
7:32 midnight suns is AMAZING!!! Not going to lie though I only pre-ordered it for the funko pop and was already in my mind i would not like the game but I was surprised when I played it and now will recommend it anyone
Love team ninja. Love them. Rise of the ronin just isn’t great. Should’ve been Nioh 3, or something like it. Nioh is so great because of its combat, the level structure, the loot and complex mechanics to make builds, etc. Rise of the ronin being open world is what killed it, plus the combat being dumbed down to ONE BUTTON does all. Blah. Team Ninja needs to stick to their combat specialties. Fast, fun combos and weapons.
They didn't say "PS5 EXCLUSIVES" they said "PS5 GAMES" which means, games available on PS5, not games ONLY available on PS5. Midnight Suns is also on PS4, for example. (And Xbox)
only game that peaked my interest is rise of roin but not enough to waste my money on the console will wait for pc ver we all know will come out year or 2 later ^_-
He himself hasn’t played “Kena” bridge of spirits. How do I know? Her name is pronounced “Cain-a.”How do I know? I played the game and that’s how she pronounces her own name.
Idk if ypu know this, but someone can play a game and pronounce someone's name wrong. As someone that platinumed the game, it isn't said many times. Nor does it matter much.
@@jortega1990 They say it a ton of times. She says her name a ton of times herself, the ghost kids she saves says it, the old man that teaches her the bow says it. It’s literally said over a dozen times. You’re either a liar and haven’t played the game, or your listening skills suck.
Resident Evil 4 (2023) is the best game ever, and VR is amazing. I recommend you ease your way into VR and take breaks. Some games are easier than others, but just like anything else when you practice you get better.
2:00 sorry Cy, Pacific Drive is in Washington State, and that is far from the Midwest. Pacific Northwest and the Olympic peninsula specifically. I get you may not be familiar with the US so much, but it is as if you said a game set in Wales was taking place in Essex.
Kena is a masterpiece. Played it at release and I still think about it. Might have to give it another playthrough. Midnight Suns combat is fantastic, but the school part between is boring and there's too much of it.

This video just feels like a Sony sponsored video. Most of these games looked mid, and the glazing didn’t really sell me on it. Then you ended with two AAA titles with good sales lol. Under the Waves not making this list is a travesty. One of the most emotionally impactful games I’ve ever played, and very relaxing with a beautiful atmosphere, inspiring music, and great voice acting + writing.
Tbf, most games channels often make this kind of list for Sony, Xbox, and Nintendo separately... so it's fine, imo. They don't really necessarily shill for one over another.
It's funny that it's the "10 best PS5 games you're not playing" and the first one is "Rise of the Ronin", of which I started my 3rd playthrough literally yesterday. The irony made me chuckle.
well I already gave up on gettin the highly overpriced ps5, but lets see if there would have been another reason than just spider-man 2 to get one.... well what can I say? WHile I can highly recommend evil west and marvel midnight sons, you can get both these titles on ps4 as well. So yeah, not missing anything besides spider-man 2 serious though, give evil west and marvel midnight son a try. They are legit amazing. With Evil West I was surprised that games like this are even still made, pure glorious entertainment, allmost like classic god of war but with gameplay close to the newer ones (but actual fun) and for midnight sons, always nice to having marvel not related to the mcu and the gameplay is highly addictive (also get the dlc, Venom and Morbius are legit fantastic)
WARNING REGARDING EVIL WEST PS5. The PS5 Version has a bug where it constantly delete's your save file. It's happened to several people including myself. I restarted my file 3 times. The PS4 version doesn't have this issue. Definitely play Evil West on PS4, since it's a really good game, but DON'T PLAY THE PS5 VERSION, SINCE IT KEEPS DELETEING YOUR SAVE FILE.

Buggin. Game is great. Easy game of the year candidate. The 3rd will be great too cope harder.
@@jortega1990 lol Cope harder. I never said the game wasn't great. It just didn't sell as well as it should have and why.
Rise of the ronin is still better than most assassin's creed games these days
I know a guy that plays RE4 VR n he constantly raves about it, that and watching a certain type of film that's not worth mentioning on a family channel 😅
FF7 Rebirth just felt so far away from FF7 after Remake also not quite being what I was hoping for, though I still enjoyed it, I gave on on Rebirth. Personally I just wanted a remake of the OG with the updated combat and speaking dialog, I would have bene happy been happier with that but understand why some people still enjoyed it
Massive Inscryption spoilers!
The reason for the VR RE4 not doing so well is SONY FAULT. As much as I love Sony. Sony doesn't seem to like VR as they don't try to push the system treating it like the forgotten PSP/Vita
FF7 Rebirth is bogged down by way way too many minigames. That is why it didn't sell well.
7:32 midnight suns is AMAZING!!! Not going to lie though I only pre-ordered it for the funko pop and was already in my mind i would not like the game but I was surprised when I played it and now will recommend it anyone
I don't have a PS5 so I tempted good list 🎮
Lies
Yes, a game called PACIFIC Drive is set in the MID-West. Pretty sure it's set in the Pacific Northwest.
Yeah Psy's vids aren't usually too good on the facts
Love team ninja. Love them. Rise of the ronin just isn’t great. Should’ve been Nioh 3, or something like it. Nioh is so great because of its combat, the level structure, the loot and complex mechanics to make builds, etc.
Rise of the ronin being open world is what killed it, plus the combat being dumbed down to ONE BUTTON does all. Blah.
Team Ninja needs to stick to their combat specialties. Fast, fun combos and weapons.
Make the price like 9 dollars we will play it😅😅😅😅
I wanted a ff7 remake not what this new version is. Hence why I didn’t buy the second one.
Midnight suns shouldn't be on this list. It isn't even an Exclusive.....let alone being good.
Another list chocked full of last gen "playable" on a ps5
Evil West is on multiple platforms
They didn't say "PS5 EXCLUSIVES" they said "PS5 GAMES" which means, games available on PS5, not games ONLY available on PS5. Midnight Suns is also on PS4, for example. (And Xbox)
Guardians of the galaxy was fun
only game that peaked my interest is rise of roin but not enough to waste my money on the console
will wait for pc ver we all know will come out year or 2 later
^_-
He himself hasn’t played “Kena” bridge of spirits.
@@jortega1990
They say it a ton of times. She says her name a ton of times herself, the ghost kids she saves says it, the old man that teaches her the bow says it. It’s literally said over a dozen times. You’re either a liar and haven’t played the game, or your listening skills suck.
Great game though
He's just reading a script someone else wrote
It's not that deep lol
nope
RPGeez?
Midnight suns is wayyyyy too many cutscenes and walking around the little hub and not actual fun. Way too many collectibles the game feels like a job
7 Rebirth isn't flying off the shelves because exclusives are a dumb idea. Putting your game on one console is profit suicide.
Cuz I play only on pc and I never going to buy consoles.
Midnight sons blew me away. I don’t play card games or tactics games and I freaking loved it. Good pick.
Rise of the Ronin is not a good game
I was hyped for it but I agree. It’s a 6.5 at best. The only thing I really like about the game is the Twin Blade customizable villain
Agree its a mediocre game
@@CustomGamesStudios
Apparently it gets good in New Game Plus?
@@Brownaut1993 if you’re not great on the first playthrough, I guarantee you that you’ll never see me again 😂😂
I only played the demo on the ps store and thought it was plop. Also it looked bloody atrocious as well.
Resident Evil 4 (2023) is the best game ever, and VR is amazing. I recommend you ease your way into VR and take breaks. Some games are easier than others, but just like anything else when you practice you get better.
Nobody Wants to Die has simply terrible writing and nearly as bad delivery from the main character. Takes you right out of any suspension of disbelief
#1 definitely Concord
Concord should have been 1, 2, and 3 lol.
Platinumed both. Both exceptionally great games.
Misleading title.
I've played 6 of them.
So these aren't PS5 exclusive so weird name for the title
Are all these games not on ps5?
3:20. What a shocker... A Brit making a Dr. Who reference! 😅
I can't throw much shade, though... Not only do I know the episode, line, and version of The Doctor referenced, I'm also a pretty big Anglophile... I even call in to radio programs on their side of the pond occasionally. (Woot for BBC WM- go Wolverhampton!)
I don't know for the other games on the list but Kena and Marvel midnight suns are pretty good
Tbf, most games channels often make this kind of list for Sony, Xbox, and Nintendo separately... so it's fine, imo. They don't really necessarily shill for one over another.
1:25 Pedro Pascal?!?
Evil west looks like the kind of game that would have felt old in 2010.
So half of the games can be played on other platforms as well...
uuugggghhhhhh
Ppl don't want to play a marvel card game, they want to actually control those characters
They are missing out then. I loved the game and being more of a DC fan the game gave me new appreciation of some of the characters
Speak for yourself, the game's great
It's funny that it's the "10 best PS5 games you're not playing" and the first one is "Rise of the Ronin", of which I started my 3rd playthrough literally yesterday.
The irony made me chuckle.
Gasp they need to delete this video then it's inaccurate af
Bullshit bosses can’t seem unreasonable.
well I already gave up on gettin the highly overpriced ps5, but lets see if there would have been another reason than just spider-man 2 to get one....
well what can I say? WHile I can highly recommend evil west and marvel midnight sons, you can get both these titles on ps4 as well. So yeah, not missing anything besides spider-man 2
serious though, give evil west and marvel midnight son a try.
Your Sy and I'm high... Sorry not sorry.
Back to the vid.
No I’m really not missing out on anything & I don’t even have or want a PS5
WARNING REGARDING EVIL WEST PS5. The PS5 Version has a bug where it constantly delete's your save file. It's happened to several people including myself. I restarted my file 3 times. The PS4 version doesn't have this issue. Definitely play Evil West on PS4, since it's a really good game, but DON'T PLAY THE PS5 VERSION, SINCE IT KEEPS DELETEING YOUR SAVE FILE.
Lol this list was ass 😂 might as well been titled “games you did good to avoid”
Evil West is not PS5 exclusive, do not put it in the thumbnail like it is one...
I don't think they said it was an exclusive
They also mentioned that Kena isn’t exclusive so I think it’s just ps5 in general
@useful-YGO don't matter, the thumbnail and title make it seem like it is. But can't lie the game is a rough diamond
@@dyingstar24no it doesnt, its not an exclusive list
WhatCulture gonna WhatCulture…if this network of channels didn’t have clickbait, nobody would watch them. It’s not like they’re known for their award-winning personalities. An entire channel of Portland bus stop people.
9 mediocre PS5 games no one likes and Midnight Suns
Kena Bridge of spirits was great. Though he himself hasn’t played since he kept pronouncing her name wrong.
Evil west, bridge of spirits are too good!
Also final fantasy rebirth!
And I guess I am the only one who didn't like midnight suns
Lol you tripping
Well sorry this is wrong Own play these games all the time except Rise of the Ronin because it doesn't look good.
Kena is trash and Unicorn Overlord should be #1.
First
Most of these are on Xbox as well, So the list should just be 10 best games you're not playing.
