@@WayneMescal We had T7.210 on Demo (2018 I think) and I was expecting it to be reasonably good but it's down on power and New Holland didn't seem to have made the best they could of with the emissions and Tier4F and it was also really inconsistent with traction sometimes it was good then sometimes it was really poor I'd much rather keep the 7530 than than have the New Holland
@@harry.bethwaite It just mixes the adblue with the exhaust gas to try and neutralise some of the worst of the emissions. Exhaust gas rercirculation (egr) is another type of emissions system but I'm not sure if the tractor would have both adblue and egr. The egr is something I've heard which chokes them up so a lot of people remove these egr valves and make the engine more free flowing. I don't know if the adblue system would choke them but the system is not that reliable for the most part, that's mainly why people delete them as well as not having to keep putting urea in. I think it's urea anyway, adblue, just a mix of urea and water or something like that. I don't know myself either to be honest, only have a rough idea from doing the theory of it in the college but it's been a long time. I'm sure google will help you out if you're curious. Oh and variable geometry turbos are another one. They are partly for emissions and partly for performance but I think people just replace them with standard turbos because they're more reliable. I think the linkages or something seize in the vg turbos.
Yeah a powershift is my favourite type of gearbox I've driven so far. The only thing I havn't had a go on yet is a vario. How was the 7040? Always wanted a go in a t7000.
@@WayneMescal Great machine she wasnt really taxed at Topping though lol thanks to a blown turbo on a TL i got the chance and when he dynoed her someoens been tweaking she was 263 at the shaft. But yea very comfy and very handy not having to literally touch the pedal all day unless when on the road makes you lazy , You do miss the note you get with Powershift and Range command Boxes. CVT is just a whine and constant bark.on a side note the 7040 has the older style cab those newer ones sure look sweet
@@zzirSnipzz1 I prefer the look of the older ones to be honest. Most of the new tractors have gone overboard on "styling". Just look at the new 8r 🤢. Be a while til I get the chance to drive a vario I'd say.
The T7.200 is some rig👌
It is now in fairness. One of the better tractors I've driven.
Haven't driven the older design T7 but didn't like the new design, Nice video
Thanks. What was wrong with the newer ones?

@@harry.bethwaite Ah right. Emissions. Yes this one has had the adblue delete so it's fine that way. A 7530 is better again though.
@@WayneMescal Couldn't tell you anything about emissions delete, What does it actually do?

Did u get stuck behind a car
Good video lad I spent all summer driving one. Go tractor but gear box give a lot of bother
Thanks, yeah I think this one has been a bit troublesome for the owner. But as a driver's tractor it's very good.
@@WayneMescal yea really good tractors now I have to admit. Good pulling power and good sprouts tractor
@@odhranrodgersphotography9129 a good sprouts tractor?
@@WayneMescal auto correct I meant all round tractor
@@odhranrodgersphotography9129 ahh that would explain it 😆
Is that gear box range or power command doesnt look like autocommand

I think his camera speed is too high hahaha
