Nowruz is not a religious holiday in shia community but rather it's traditional ethnic holiday especially among Iranian and Azerbaijani people since they have many historical events and traditions in common.
And what about Holy place - for shia muslims Kaaba is qibla too and it is an obligatory pilgrimage like in sunni muslims. Yes there are some narrations that ziyarate Karbala is 70 times better than Karbala pilgrimage but these narrations has deep philophical meaning like narrations where it's said that offending a believer is worse than ruining Kaaba 40 times. It means that a believer is much more important for Allah than a stone. In that sence Karbala is a place of resting of a perfect human being, a leader of believers - Imam al Husayn. But if we approach from shariah perspective even if you pilgrimage 1000 times to Karbala it will not take the obligation of single Kaaba pilgrimage because it is obligatory.

Alhamduillah means “all praise to allah”
