Dawwwg. I been saying this for years!!!! Curry originated in India coined from the Tamil word Kari. Caribbean people have ZERO say in what to call it. They can take a back seat. People don't realize that a large number of people migrated to Guyana from India and we adopted the true way of saying it. Why don't we just let India have this one 🙄🙄. They dotish bad.

I understand where yall come from they are Caribbean culture of the coasts of Central and South America. Belize gets that treatment too so don't feel bad. There is San Andres off the coast of Colombia, Límon Costa Rica, Roatan Honduras, panama too also have heavy Caribbean culture.

Please tell Majah Hype that the definition of the Caribbean is the lands washed by the Caribbean Sea and those sharing a common historical heritage. So, based on his reason, Barbados, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, and Bermuda are not Caribbean islands as long as Guyana and Suriname. Venezuela and Colombia should also be considered Caribbean since their coastline is on the Caribbean sea. Guyana coastline is on the Atlantic side

The level of disrespect based on a technicality. Not only historically and culturally is Guyana Caribbean, more importantly, the spirit and soul of Guyana is Caribbean. Geographically Guyana shares maritime boundaries with Trinidad and Barbados (along with Venezuela and Suriname) the way some of y'all gwan, you would think it's on the other half of the world. The Caribbean is defined as “the region consisting of the Caribbean Sea, its islands (including the West Indies), and the surrounding coasts” now kiddies go check your Atlas to see which sea borders Guyana’s coastline.

Guyana considered to be Caribbean by association, meaning their are treatise and bilateral agreements between Guyana and these Caribbean countries . So it is believed to be Caribbean, but it's really not geographically located in the Caribbean. They cultures are close, but Guyanese relax . It's just a podcast, and for the record, im Guyanese too .

I was agreeing with dude in the middle wearing green until he agreed with his girl entertaining male friends. He doesn't understand how most individuals that commit adultery or an affair doesn't start out believing or saying I'm gonna smash my opposite sex countertops. It's starts with building time over a period of time , to eventually sharing personal intimate issues about their mates with the so called friend, and I'll say over a period of time , chemistry and feelings are developed. Which is why scripture instructs believer's to shun the appearance of evil , it didn't say if it was evil , it clearly says the appearance. In other words if others see me out with a single that may appear to be a date , i simply stay away from situations like that , unless it's business , which is extremely rare. That same situation literally happened to me , i was in a relationship and had this so called female friend who eventually became the person i shared and confided in, only to find out later after the affair started she literally told me , she was always attracted to me and it was her intent from the beginning. So moral of the story fellas never tell any female she can't have male friends, simply don't commit , pump and dump , pass her around to the homies and run through them. Respectable ladies that are true wives moves in a different manner , whenever she's dealing with a man of value , who's assertive , confident , dominate , masculine and walks in his true God given purpose of leadership and authority regarding a relationship between man and woman.
