Open End Resource brought out the emotions for me. Was traveling home from my mum's on the bus after doing a video call with my twin girls, they were getting ready to go to a birthday party, dressed up in their vestidos amarillos. Made me think of how far I am from them and things I'm missing out on. Quite refreshing to hear guitar, lovely track, thank you AB & AM
Bayers new stuff is awesome. Can't quite put my finger on what he's up to but the guys is super talented. Will be interesting to hear club mixes and whatnot.

Ahhh what happened to Oliver Smith? I can't tell the difference between his tracks anymore. They sound like some of the other mediocre stuff coming out of Anjuabeats these days. Not trying to be a downer, but his tunes have taken a strange turn. Am I the only one?
I’ve been saying that for years.
I really liked the G&D album cause it was very different. Same with Bayer's album. Spencer Brown blew the doors off the hinges. Grum keeps producing excellent music. Ilan's on the edge for me but obviously super talented even if not always my taste. But the rest of AJB is getting pretty stale. It's not trance, it's not house, it's in this progressive realm with no identity. And honestly, I don't care what genre it is - I can't dance to it, it feels jumpy and disjointed, and almost completely lacks emotion. I hate to pick on Ollie because his old stuff is legend but... Anyway, rant over. I just feel like I'm taking crazy pills when obviously a lot of folks like what the label is putting out. I don't get it. Especially when the Deep label is on FIRE, never been better.
if you are saying his music was not good enough maybe not for you, this was the 1st song in the entire 1st hour that resonated with my soul. not everyone will agree to you on this, stop the hate if you dont like the music maybe because you dint felt the depth of it, i sure fet it and some other people might have felt it too.
Glad you enjoy it. IMO, criticism is not hate, especially when asking others if they share a similar opinion. Ollie's music has changed a LOT in the past 12 years, and I don't personally think for the better. Aspects of his music are awesome at times, but the overall composition (especially the drops) feel very formulaic and not befitting the quality of the rest of the track. No disrespect meant to fans, but artists need to hear honest feedback. Listen to his stuff from 2006, S&P work, etc. Big difference.
i have always thought oliver smith's stuff was boring...like estiva and genix.....dont know why these guys get supported....i think its cos they are friends of above and beyond
