I have been listening to these when I was a kid, now I am 27 and I am also trying to create music. Without knowing, you were my model back then and I am happy it was that way, cuz I would've never had this side and appreciation for good music if it weren't for you, Adrian. I hope you're doing well these days and keep on, you're a good man!
Only person that feels that this is a bit sinister? It feels very dark. Like that creepy thing were they play old nice music, but the context makes it very creepy. Because this feels like an intro to a murder mystery movie, with the camera panning through the snowy streets of a Victorian city, then zooming in on a body with the bloody leaking out into the snow.
OddJaguar15 Yeah, maybe it is, but I like it and I like Adrians dark songs in general! I imagine an old castle or a forest - no matter if they're haunted or not, for me it's still beautiful ^^
+OddJaguar15 That is how I felt. After listening to it the first time the first word to come to mind was: Haunting. The song definitely doesn't feel relaxing, but more sinister in nature. I like it regardless, but it spooks me out sometimes.
There is a girl who fell in love with a snowman. She wished for winter to never end. She would stare in his cold cold eyes, and sleep in his blanket of snow. She never want to let go. But if only the snowman can talk. He wants to know what the spring feels like, even just for a day.
winter breath~ The sound. it was piercing like a skilled pianist at the keys it traveled through the glaciers on an unfelt breeze. tinkling bells like falling stars fading and drifting as I slip passed the scars My heart in my chest it begins to swell my thoughts out of control I scream and I yell. it taunted me giggling from behind closed doors. Haunting me, laughing, chortling with glee, as though my mistakes were easy to see. but it relaxed me in a strange way, calming my senses. suddenly, shockingly, I laid down my defenses. I followed the noises, my eyes closed, thoughts controlled. no longer had this occurred when the bells were tolled, they shook and they echoed bringing me closer. They brought me to the treasure a gem buried in ice. and so it seemed now paid my life was so small a price. despite the despair and the doubt in the beginning my soul was rattling, practically singing what awaited me was well worth the wait a Heaven to enter through a shining pearl gate.
By the dim glow of the moonlight Spirits of the snow glide through the hollow places. The trees shiver in unison, bowing to their queen. Everything is silent. Wisps of cool air brush your skin as you reach down into the crevice. As you pull your hand out, a bright light emerges from the space. A tiny snow fairy, left behind. Your eyes meet with that of the spirit, the flutter of wings the only movement. All is still. Suddenly the light fades, leaving you alone in the clearing, You and the sky..
Ice slithers down my spine, but I neither shiver nor feel the chill. I watch the very first snowflake descend toward my humble gloom of a street. There are woods around my vicinity that are slowly being buried alive in its ethereal brightness; a white blanket. As I sense the snowy tundra forming, I also sense a reawakening. This is my first true moment of jubilation since my youth. An ominous darkness awaits ahead, but I do not fret. I see it all: The universe, the hypothetical heavens, and even my footprints that leave remnants of my path that chose to take. Into this beautiful new world of white bliss that this sudden drops in temperature and precipitation have chosen to give me. I give into the chill. Winter's Beckoning. I am home. I am alive. I am free. (Pretentious random thoughts as I listen to this)
Ruby Sephton Thanks! I'm flattered. Don't worry, I wish I could draw, and I'm friends with a lot of artists. Everyone has something that they're good at. :)
the cold woods and barrens... covered in snow... lonelyness, sadness. but... no grief. only tranquility... serenity. Curse you, Adrian von Ziegler! That is marvelous!
I love to listen to music to "help" myself to relax in a lot of given situations. I have some health issues and I just want you to know it really does lift my spirit and "cleanses" so to speak. God has truly given you an awesome talent.
i am a creature born from the womb of the night, Solitary and quiet, i draw comfort from being in the near complete silence and in utter darkness, while others see fear in it i see a sanctuary. a chance to be once again close to the darkness i've loved since birth, to feel its warm and chilling arms envelope me again. but laying i'm my loving cocoon of momentary erasing and time freezing blackness.. your songs... bring... a new feeling inside... deep into my very soul. one of serenity. thank you
I was born in the late autumn, but I still love winter. The snow, the cold, it's magical. I feel alive, like I've woken up. I can be me, walking through the cold, white crystals, scattering them around me while mocing forward. My scarf dancing in the breeze behind me. I cant wait for winter to come.
Walking through the woods lost, it begins to snow gently. As the snowflakes melt on your nose you smile and watcht them fall unto the logs and dorment trees. You continue on while the little flakes rest on the frozen stream. Everything has become more familiar to you in the light of the familiar season.
This song is still one laden with symbolism for me, and now with nearly a decade of history to accompany it. This is probably one of my most consistently listened to songs for when I sit down and meditate.
"I travel down this icy path, on my way to a far off kingdom... A desolate location known as Solitude, to find within it two things that were locked away, according to legend, hidden from the rest of the world... The wind blows through these frozen weeping willows, creating a soothing sound. Like a lullaby my mother used to sing to me. I feel a tear begin to fall from my eye, but it is quickly frozen and then blown away in the chilling wind, its frozen drops floating on the breeze in shimmering dots... The sun shall be setting soon, I need to stop for the day, I have come upon a cave here in the mountain side... As I begin to set up camp, I find that I may not be alone in this cavern, but as for who or what resides within... Only time will tell, but for now, I simply light my fire and sit down beside it, closing my eyes for the night." -Journal entry excerpt from Phoenix Lotus, a Half-Elf Monk
i am here at 5 in the morning listening and still tired but i want to hear just one more song! The song is so hauntingly beautiful I cried a little. This is how I feel when I look outside my window in the winter. Everything is surreal it feels as if you are in a dream.
This reminds me of my cat. I lost her to the rainbow bridge June 14th and I am not dealing with it well. The depression seems to consume me at times. It's like losing a child and the winter in your heart freezes all emotion but painful sadness. I want to be on the other side with her so much. The stress of life was so much easier to take with my baby kitty.
Dear Carrie, I have lost a feline friend to the rainbow bridge too. I know it is hard, very hard. Keep the love in your heart for her alive and know that it never dies and one day you may warm another kitty's heart. I know your kitty must be frolicking up in cat heaven with all the other special animals who have passed on to the next world chasing new creatures and having new adventures, but they never forget their earthly and human companions, not ever. They are irreplaceable family members but the human heart has the capacity to love beyond loss too, it's an amazing thing. Your fur baby probably watches over you like a guardian spirit now and if you speak to her, she will listen and comfort you. Feel better.
This is beautiful. Your music is just perfect to listen to when I need time to think, time to get away from everything else. At the moment I'm planning on writing a book, nothing special but it's nice to write I find. It relaxes me, and I always listen to your music when I write, it inspires me and when I close my eyes I can see my book falling into place, my imagination creating it for me. Thank you for helping me really. Your music is inspiring and stunning! truly.
These songs, if they truly represent what's in your heart, you are undoubtedly a very beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world.
This is one of my favorite pieces, though I found an odd clicking in my right ear I hadn't noticed before. I tried different headphones to double check that it wasn't something on my end, then I sped up the song and the clicking got faster so it's embedded into the song itself. Even so, this is still such a beautiful and oddly emotional song that I'm still in love with.
I was a little sceptical in the beginning whether or not I liked the song but as the minutes passed - especially during the middle it immediately became clear that von Ziegler truly has a gift. A magnificent piece of unique music. Most impressive von Ziegler...most impressive indeed.
The whole world was in this cold winter, all the water has been frozen to the core. I always thought, since this all happened, the earth was now in the heart of one fragile little snowflake. I walked down the snowy road with my footprints trailing behind me then I saw a frozen waterfall. I walked up to it and touched it's ice with my bare hand. It felt so cold that it burned. It hurt so much yet it felt so good. I walked over to an ice cold bench which had icicles underneath the arms and sat on it and heaved a deep sigh. I saw the air come out of my and stared at it until it faded away. I closed my eyes and took it a cold breath of air that made my lungs feel frostbitten and I held my breath so I can feel the cool air inside of me. I wanted to stay here for the rest of my life until the frost covered me as it did to the earth so I can feel this happy until I die...
I quite like the 'Season' pieces you've done, but I think this is my favorite of them. Somehow, the music combined with the visual just seems to give me the impression of that feeling of winter. Just thinking: maybe it could be an idea to try something for the four classical elements of Air, Earth, Fire and Water?
I would so love it if he were to do musical compositions inspired by the four elements. His ones of the four seasons are magical, and it would be wonderful to hear what he could do with the other aspects of nature. We can only hope one day he may do so! Undoubtedly, they would be beauteous, just like nature itself.
If music longed for the return of a Mesias, a Jesus, then Adrian ~ That is you. My ears have not, and will never, melt in such a way. Without even knowing it, you're ripping my heart out. Even so, you still take care of it. Of me. Because of you, Adrian, I have regained faith in humanity, we have a future, and that future is you and your music. You're the answer to all prayers, and no song made by you can ever be categorized bad, thus you are the God of all music. I pray not for you, but to you.
I think I may hear it too, however, probably due to different speakers, that frequency is stronger hear-able for you than here. - (posted by Dominik, Adrian's brother, on his behalf)
I'm not entirely sure why, but the melody that starts at 7:00 always reminds me of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It is my favourite section ^^ Such a magically mystical piece of music, chilling our minds into a distant state of peace. Beautiful.
I love how you transform simple things regarding nature into such other-worldly beautiful music that sound so epic and mythical! In the shadows of Elysion 'neath the ground, Thor's frozen cudgel in firm frosts was found! Its handle washed by Lethe's bitter foam, Its blade unseeing Hades' gathering gloam! And ere the spirit of Virgo shall descend, The reign of Winter will never ever end! Hence the cudgel will reap Man's flesh and soul From graves that lie in the winter snow!
A silver wolf walked beneath a cascade of icicles hanging down from a tree. Her three little pups followed her lead, leaping into each one of her footsteps, in turn, spraying the one behind. They all looked as if they were the spirits of angels as they padded in the deep white snow. sun was shining through the trees to only enhance the beauty of the moment. The tree wolves disappeared behind a tree, and disappeared....
A ballerina's dancing tells of purity and innocent. As time goes on, life slowly turns gloomy and grotesque. A desire to be pure again, but is sadly not achievable. So the ballerina's dancing turns reluctantly evil with only memories of happiness that turned to loneliness.
TheRyander Nope, just wrote that while drinking with my buds xD opps Looking back I was a little depressed with a personal happening with a friend of mine...so yeah opps x2
The scenery changes... Silence overcomes... It's so peaceful, and the cold seems to bring people back to their senses... On top of all that, my computer hardly overheats. :)
Yes, very much so.^^ The song is called "Spring Charm" and is a 20min long piece of music that I made as a reflection of Spring, just as this song is a reflection of Winter. =)
FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE! All of your songs are good i will subscribe. And if I could vote for the most relaxing song on earth i would pick all of these awesome songs that you make
The cold breath of winter reaches out and touches everyone who waits for the forces of nature to change from one to another. "Winter is coming," the winds whisper as one. "Winter is coming. "
I feel like I am in a winter wonderland, engulfed by the spirits of winter hearing the music of ice magic~~~ Just close your eyes and let your imagination works its magic. The music sounds better
The trees stand. Strong and still they hold together as the snow covers them in a soft blanket, wrapping them in the warms of Winter and letting them snuggle comfortably underneath her arms. For Winter may seem cold to the many, those few who can truly appreciate her are awarded with the greatest of gifts, peace. These few who may wander throughout Winter's domain, her forests, her hills, her beaches and her sills. These few may find peace wherever they are when Winter arrives, and they are happy. Yet only when the heat of spring melts away all the snow, can we really begins to reflect on what we know. It's a bit too long and it's not that good, but I felt like I may as well try an contribute.
Just imagine, you inside a enormous beautiful frozen castle in middle of an ice storm...exploring and searching for a beauty ice fairy or winter queen hehe 😙 just beautiful.
Stumbling through the icy forest, skeleton tree shake with the breeze. Stumbling with loss of feeling, fall to the ground with no hope left. When all hope is gone and death is near, a small note plays through the branches. Then another, the song of the winter plays in the cold air. I lift myself up again, urging to move forward with the notes of life coming out. There is a chance of life with the playing music, life shall continue onwards. That is the mental picture I get with this song.
For some reason I like this one more than the Autumn or Spring ones... this is just mystical, almost evil I'd say, whilst the other ones are more happy and alive, but I love mystical things, so...
When I listen to your music I am not me, I am Solkiin, a man in a fantasy world where anything is possible, a medieval gothic setting. Wether I am seconds from death, marching to battle, feasting in the halls of Valhalla, or taking a leisurely stroll through the forest. Music can't do that for many people mate, you're going to be so big everyone will know your name and your music. Keep up the good work.
Hi. I strive to be an author when I get older and in doing so, I get bomberded with ideas for books quite often. So the first time that I listened to this, an image sprang into my mind. It was of a rebellious girl sprawled lazily across an icey throne. But unlike my other ideas, this image stuck. And with it festering inside my mind a story began to grow. I like to call the main character the love child of Deadpool and Elsa, just to give you a sneak peek. My reason for writing this is to say thank you for igniting the spark to my bonfire of a story that will hopefully be my first book to ever be published. Eek. I sound stupid😅Thank you😚
Winter has a lot of beauty about it, it's just that people hate having to work around it.... but if you move quietly and look around and ponder, you begin to understand it's secrets!
It´s like listening to a winter melody with a music box. It relaxes and warms your soul somehow. As being in a trance that plunges you into a deep daydream, into another universe within your mind where you let lose yourself, and you don´t want to leave. I can only say this: Adrian Von Ziegler you´re the lord and master of the music. Thank you for being so awesome.
I love the snow. But, I also love the spring. Very rainy. I love rain... In the mountains. When the souls of mortals wage war on a ancient battle field...
your music is magical. In this crazy violent world, you music allows one to escape reality, even if only for a moment, to a place or magic and adventure. If only we could leave this world and venture to an ancient realm. Your music allows for that. I see landscapes and scenery in my mind that only one would see as if a movie in real life. If only we could travel to the realms in our minds.
A girl walks through the woods in a soft snowfall, as she walks in the darkness, she sees firelight. She tries to run , but finds that her feet are numb. She tries to shout, but her voice fails. So she stumbles into the camp and collapses. The people at the fire start with surprise, a man, a woman and a boy about the girls age. They put her in a tent and warm her up.
The ambiance in this song is so ... wooow ! I close my eyes and I am in this cave, I feel the cold wind which caress my skin and my soul ... congrats Adrian !
I love winter winter to me is just the most beautiful season I love the sound of the wind in winter time and I love the snow that falls beautiful music thank you
Winter is coming to cold, cold Alberta. Here in the prairies and the mountains, the winters are long, and bitterly frigid. Most dread the winter months that seem to last forever. But me, I've always seen the beauty of our winters. The plains are blanketed in a beautiful white quilt. Frost and icicles hang like tears from the pines. The nights are long. And when the full moon is hanging in our winter sky just so, it casts a pensive and almost magical glow upon the snow covered fields below.
Well... the WHOLE song is called Winter Breath, from 0:00 to 20:11. It's one very long piece of music, not a compilation of songs.
M
Does this song exist in Spotify ?
This makes me shiver.. and I'm sitting in a warm room.
I love how his music brings out everyones imaginations. Reading the comments is inspiring ♡
I will compose music until I die, I'm 22 now so if I'm lucky that means I have some 60 years left to do this. xD
Yes, but haunted makes it even more interesting. Aye? :-)
+OddJaguar15
Exactly.
+OddJaguar15 That is how I felt. After listening to it the first time the first word to come to mind was: Haunting. The song definitely doesn't feel relaxing, but more sinister in nature. I like it regardless, but it spooks me out sometimes.
+OddJaguar15 yeah, and that's f****g awesome
There is a girl who fell in love with a snowman. She wished for winter to never end. She would stare in his cold cold eyes, and sleep in his blanket of snow. She never want to let go. But if only the snowman can talk. He wants to know what the spring feels like, even just for a day.
+Kamille Ann (heykamie) Plot twist: He melts.
Kamille Ann
I was actually just joking, but okay.
+Dear Diary
Ou, darkish on this snowmanless winter, aren't we? :)
+Kamille Ann (heykamie)
I presume he can even sing...
+Kamille Ann (heykamie)
He must be melting with all that heavenly love :)
winter breath~
The sound. it was piercing
like a skilled pianist at the keys
it traveled through the glaciers
on an unfelt breeze.
tinkling bells like falling stars
fading and drifting
as I slip passed the scars
My heart in my chest it begins to swell
my thoughts out of control
I scream and I yell.
it taunted me giggling
from behind closed doors.
Haunting me,
laughing,
chortling with glee,
as though my mistakes were easy to see.
but it relaxed me in a strange way,
calming my senses.
suddenly, shockingly,
I laid down my defenses.
I followed the noises,
my eyes closed,
thoughts controlled.
no longer had this occurred
when the bells were tolled,
they shook and they echoed
bringing me closer.
They brought me to the treasure
a gem buried in ice.
and so it seemed now paid
my life was so small a price.
despite the despair
and the doubt in the beginning
my soul was rattling,
practically singing
what awaited me was well worth the wait
a Heaven to enter
through a shining pearl gate.
Now *THIS* is the type of dark poetry I like: Still dark, but also has hope.
👏👏 I give you my respect.
and thank you for the mental image. those piano strokes at the start remind me of falling snow flakes crushing in the ground
I fake the smile and put on a show
But slowly let my personality glow
And reflects who I really am
A bitter cold wasteland.
Yaser Alshemerty Hey... I see what you did there! You rhymed!
(You're a poet and didn't know it!) :)
the harpsichord really adds that gothic touch.
By the dim glow of the moonlight
Spirits of the snow glide through the hollow places.
Suddenly the light fades,
leaving you alone in the clearing, You and the sky..
Your fingers has a magic touch.
yes yes yes her fingers have a magic touch
Peace at last, how incredible that your music has captured the cold.
I agree Stormy. When you listen to Adrian's music, you can feel humanity and seek warmth even in the "coldest" of days.
Ice slithers down my spine, but I neither shiver nor feel the chill. I watch the very first snowflake descend toward my humble gloom of a street. Still, your writing is amazing
Ruby Sephton That's encouraging. Thanks. :) I love writing, and it's something I'm still trying to improve in.

***** Are you sure?
but snow already came.
1 2 winter has gone
not sure if this aged well..

Listening to this song while taking pictures of nature like naked trees and things during the dead cold of the day makes you forget where you are.
Winter, snow, ice is magical, beautiful and powerful, I love this type of aura just like I love ice tigers.

*clap clap clap* beautiful, just beautiful.
that was amazing! That is exactly how i feel during winter.
Do you have this on Watt pad? It's gorgeous!
I love this song. I play it all the time during winter. Winter is nature's true beauty.

AWSOME! it makes it's purpose, makes you travel without moving, makes you dream without sleeping, makes you be something else without hallucination.
As you listen to this, play this video in the background. Pure Arctic Wind
Yep.. Yessir fucking great,
Good tip! Great result.
So many thumbs up!

Ich mag den Winter, wenn alles verschneit ist und dieses Lied lässt mir positiven Sinne das Blut in den Adern gefrieren.
I think I may hear it too, however, probably due to different speakers, that frequency is stronger hear-able for you than here.

Thanks guys for all the thumbs up :') I love the community that goes with Adrian's music, so supportive and loving.
Hauntingly beautiful.
I'm not entirely sure why, but the melody that starts at 7:00 always reminds me of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It is my favourite section ^^
Such a magically mystical piece of music, chilling our minds into a distant state of peace. Beautiful.
I love how you transform simple things regarding nature into such other-worldly beautiful music that sound so epic and mythical!
In the shadows of Elysion 'neath the ground,
Thor's frozen cudgel in firm frosts was found!
Its handle washed by Lethe's bitter foam,
Its blade unseeing Hades' gathering gloam!
And ere the spirit of Virgo shall descend,
The reign of Winter will never ever end!
Hence the cudgel will reap Man's flesh and soul
From graves that lie in the winter snow!
I'm back, after all these years. Still beautiful to write to. Thanks, Adrian. ;)
2x Speed is AWESOME
It sounds like it's meant to be 2x it sounds much better
Hussein Kilkal Slooooow dooooown
really? lol to me it sounds like it's meant to be like that. but when it's normal it's more peacefull
hahahaha i agree... it truly is better
Holy shit, yer right.
i love it💙, it's as Mysterious and beautiful like the earth
I have no words to describe how much I love the feel of this music. The perfect mix of loneliness and calm... I'm officially addicted.
Beautiful..
Bill Cipher Thank you :)
Your welcome.
The Rare Kitty I love it, but I have a little thing about the ... moment, I think after the ... it should say, forever...
***** let me see you try
This is my favorite. It relaxes me when I'm super aggressive.
A ballerina's dancing tells of purity and innocent. As time goes on, life slowly turns gloomy and grotesque. A desire to be pure again, but is sadly not achievable. So the ballerina's dancing turns reluctantly evil with only memories of happiness that turned to loneliness.
LotusBloomsTwice Jesus christ, how horrifying.
TheRyander Nope, just wrote that while drinking with my buds xD opps
Looking back I was a little depressed with a personal happening with a friend of mine...so yeah opps x2
well you wrote something really good and dark while drunk, considering drunk writing more ahah
TheRyander Hahaha no thanks apparently I also dry hump things. Things get awkward...
thanks i hear it every night before sleep
This pretty much summarizes winter. Absolutely gorgeous.
FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE! All of your songs are good i will subscribe. And if I could vote for the most relaxing song on earth i would pick all of these awesome songs that you make
7:00 and 11:00, I can tell that this composition is very much personal to Adrian, the notes are the same as Innocence... It's deep, dark and stunning!
epic reminds me of a cold Christmas night!
There is something about this makes you feel slightly anxious. Like the slow creeping hand of a sinister, cold, approach. Love it 😊
I love the mystery feel to it toward the end :)
The cold breath of winter reaches out and touches everyone who waits for the forces of nature to change from one to another. "Winter is coming," the winds whisper as one. "Winter is coming. "
This is one of my favorite pieces by you. Keep up the great work, Adrian! ^.^
I feel like I am in a winter wonderland, engulfed by the spirits of winter hearing the music of ice magic~~~ Just close your eyes and let your imagination works its magic. The music sounds better
Thanks for creating these wonderful pieces
Aaw man, my headphones can't handle this awesomeness T.T
The storm is getting colder
In a place of the frozen sun
Alone on the mountainside
Breathing the clearest winds!
"Winter is coming"
Listening this in the day with the first snow of winter 2022. Mesmerising
Oh OK. xD Well I'll have to compose some more Winter-themed music for that, but I like the idea. =)
Just imagine, you inside a enormous beautiful frozen castle in middle of an ice storm...exploring and searching for a beauty ice fairy or winter queen hehe 😙 just beautiful.
Your music makes it easy to do homework. =D
Eek. I sound stupid😅Thank you😚
Right there with you, Makenna! Adrian's stuff is all I listen to when I write haha
Good luck with your book!
+Jasmin Celeste Thank you 😊
is it out yet?
Me too
I've been using this song to study for something like 9 years now every winter when Fall finals come around. Thank you Adrian
if somehow this had like 8 hours i could sleep listening to it
put it on repeat lol that is what I do
I do
From this music you can almost feel the cold fog rolling in, the dreary walking of solitude but no emotion except for bliss.
I actually had to put on a sweater after this. :o
this is a gentle as death's kiss on all of us and a soft as a lullaby to a baby absolutely breathtaking.
I really this new sound I am listening it helps.
Good it helps me and if you have head it helps to consintrate better
Winter has a lot of beauty about it, it's just that people hate having to work around it.... but if you move quietly and look around and ponder, you begin to understand it's secrets!
LONG LIVE GREENLAND!!! 🇬🇱
Thank you for being so awesome.
this very good
i realize Im kinda off topic but do anybody know of a good site to watch new tv shows online ?
@Creed Bodhi Flixportal :)
@Juelz Tate Thank you, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :D I appreciate it !
@Creed Bodhi glad I could help :D
I enjoy this. I love snow aura and ice animals.
I love the snow. But, I also love the spring. Very rainy. I love rain... In the mountains. When the souls of mortals wage war on a ancient battle field...
Prepare yourselfs.....Winter is Coming...
your music is magical.
Anyone else reminded of the Undertale music?
I love winter winter to me is just the most beautiful season I love the sound of the wind in winter time and I love the snow that falls beautiful music thank you
you should make one about fire, its my element
I want one about air. That's my element.
Beautiful Adrain, especially at 7:42. Actually, from start to finish its just perfection.
it feel like American Mc Gees Alice
Winter is coming to cold, cold Alberta. Here in the prairies and the mountains, the winters are long, and bitterly frigid. Most dread the winter months that seem to last forever. But me, I've always seen the beauty of our winters. The plains are blanketed in a beautiful white quilt. Frost and icicles hang like tears from the pines. The nights are long. And when the full moon is hanging in our winter sky just so, it casts a pensive and almost magical glow upon the snow covered fields below.
