In the 50's as a child my Dad would pull out the trains to set up to go around the Christmas tree. They are the Lionel trains that would have smoke come out of the engine when you put the little pill in. One of my most favorite memories as a child. One of the train sets is sitting on my fireplace now. I have purchased several other train sets and set up because I have a cat and she loves to sit by the train and watch it go around the track. It would not be Christmas without a train at my house. I enjoy tagging along with you seeing what you purchase. Hope to see a video when you show off your house and all the Christmas decorations.

Hello my sweet friend! Hope you had A nice weekend!😊 The wood piece may have been from a project of some sort. But it also looked like the antique masher, which lots of people collect the antique ones. I would have grabbed it & rubbed it down weigh antiquing wax, maybe added a few dings to it & put it in my crock with all of my other wooden utensils! That Santa was really pretty. It was different with the suit color, green I'd my fav color!😊 Loved the gold angel that was in the basket! I would have made a little vignette or arrangement or something with her! I always pick up the little brass French horns. They make pretty Christmas decor and/or ornaments. I have mine out year round. I have keep one on a peg rack. I had one in a vignette staged around the Victorian/regency era. Lol I can't remember where i had the others😄 Of course truth now they're all picked in boxes in storage.🫤 We should be getting a place in December or January🙏🏻 I'm so ready to get my things back & start decorating, thrifting & antiquing again! I saw someone find a bag or box with a ton of vintage Christmas cards in it at a GW! There were some other like birthday & easter cards in it too, but mostly Christmas! The Christmas tree cutting boards were pretty cool, but the one that was half marble, i'd love to find one! I like finding the large scarfs to use in different ways like you said, especially at Christmas. That one is beautiful!❤ The like star plates are so sweet, perfect for a cookie plate gift! Glad you picked up the French horn! Making A simmer pot for a gift is a really great idea! I love the sweater! It really will be cute with a white tee & rolled hem jeans or leggings, with the thick bottom Ugg slides and a pair of scrunched socks! Its so funny.. Before I moved to FL I was always buying tee's or pj's or things with Micky miss on them. But I see so much of it down here i don't really pay it much attention now.🤷♀️ My little granddaughter loves Minnie mouse tho!☺ Nice haul & thanks for taking us along & sharing.
