I couldn't imagine anything more enjoyable as a dancer than getting to dance a Wade Robson group number. Everything is striking and oversized and always makes the dancers look incredible!
I realize your comment is years old, but do you not know that in other countries (the UK & Canada for example) “favorite” is spelled as “favourite”? Yes, the OP made a typo and left off the ‘e’. But correcting it makes you sound like an arrogant American.
It's been EIGHT years since I've seen this and I remembered it immediately. One of my ALL-TIME favorite group dances. Just wonderful the way it's put together and pulled off. Everyone's so great, the choreo is masterful!
I absolutely LOVE this routine by Wade Robson and all the contestants danced it so well! It's my favorite one of all! Absolutely Brilliant! I really dig the dance moves ~~~ Wade Robson is a genius and I hope he comes back for season 9 ~~~
My favorite group routine in this show's history. Thanks for posting this. I've been trying to find it for a while but I didn't know what it was called!!(:
No inovation, no path. He is stuck in MJ's creativity and talent and he does not find the way out. Not sure trying to destroy his past idol as he does is the best way to be free.
The camera man was a big part of this piece. This is what a dance director should deliver. Just love it. Sadly the director seem to be going no where in the latest season.
I am an MJ fan and I have a different perspective of Wade, he actually has good dance moves even though he said lies about MJ , I see he is still great at dancing and I hope he continues
Absolutely Outstanding!!!, Wade's an amazing choreographer! Love this piece. His work is desperately needed on season 8. wish the video quality was clearer, but thans Kristen4 posting*
Everytime I watch this, I realize, Jakob or Elenor should have won that yr. I can't keep my eyes off her in the beginning and Jakob midway through. Man Jakob just comes out like a shot. He's so dynamic, so fast yet so smooth and in the pocket. He dances like "yeah I know I can dance and I love it. Kudos to Wade Robeson as well, your a beast and ya know it. Waaaaaahhhoooo!! snort snort!
Sencillamente espectacular so yo think you can dance, el mejor programa de baile , increíbles coreografías y talento para derrochar 👏👏👏 excelencia, arte, alma y corazón puesto en la pista de baile.
Malika9618- Here is the information about the song. If you look under the video in the right corner, it lists the artist and the songs used. Artist: The Revels Buy "Comanche" on: AmazonMP3
That's awesome! I love jazz music, sax, and Wade Robson. That said, I feel like complaining here about how commodified dancing is in our capitalist society. Like most people only watch it on TV, see it as a performance art like break dancing, as something for talented people, or dance a little bit once in a while - awkwardly - in a club. It's sad we need a capitalistic TV show to "bring dancing back into the popular imagination." Then dance lessons are expensive and for middle to upper class
Planet Bananas Cool. This was one of my favorite seasons and performances produced by the show which I have now busted myself for loving like a teenage girl, like I do. Voice contests sometimes produce great moments and in rare cases careers, but more often can be spun with more pageantry than music and make just okay singers sound ahmyazing on the Kodak Theatre stage with Hollywood hair and make up and the best session musicians of LA. This delicious dance contest, on the other hand, is so different and irresistible. You can't fake dance. You are either amazing or not. No lighting or make up can disguise a mediocre dancer on a professional stage. I wish singers were forced to work as hard as a dancer must to be able to deem themself professional, let alone amazing. The really good ones do. Wade Robson is a genius, but Mia Micheals melts my heart when it comes to art and my favorite reminder from Coach Micheals, for all categories, is: "Stay hungry to become the best that you can be. Never be satisfied with the level of artistry that you've attained. You can always be better." Amen, sister. Lauren, your drive is as stunning as you are, and it is so clear how hard you work even at the funny side projects behind your deeper drama pieces. Your writing and persistence is as powerful as your beautiful voice and your beautiful face and I know you will knock it out of the park many times as long as you stay in the game! Thanks for sharing this and best of luck with all projects :-) #DanceIsJoy
This season was so interesting to me- can't remember any other season with talent so underwhelming, yet other talent so unbelievably good, at all the same time.
Such a great group dance, with so much character! I really liked that season's dancers. Elinor was one of my favorites, & I was happy w. Russell winning (tho I hated how they kept lying about his dance background). Just saw Billy Bell recently, w. Cedar Lake Ballet, a wonderful company--see them if you can!
I know right? I started watching it and thought 'wait a minute, I know this name! Is that the guy from SYTYCD?' yep it is - haven't been able to get through that documentary yet.
That's so interesting. I believed he had no formal training and never bothered to check. He was a great dancer anyways and I especially loved his afro-jazz piece by Sean Cheeseman. Thanks.
Man, I wish that people still dressed like this every day, look how classy the dancers look in those threads!!! Bitchin' music and dance moves as well.
@SWAK1774 It looks like he did that for a while, but is working on choreography for movies more these days. It would be really cool for him come back and choreograph for the show again next season. His routines are my favorites on the show.
@looonger I totally agree with you. The camera man worked so well with them and hilighted them. Awesome team! :D Later seasons are def. sucking kinda. :( (Camera-connection wise.)
If only the sound wasn't about half a sec off from the video, I'd watch it everyday! Still will keep coming back. I checked more thoroughly a few years ago for another copy. No joy ☹️
The Humming bird routine choregraphed by Wade danced by Hok and Jamie is best ever and won an Emmy so you're wrong he's good at choregraphing for just about anybody rather its large group or small duets.
2023 and still love this routine as much as I did 12 years ago!
It’s 2020 and I still come back to watch this routine.
It was so GOOD, I also keep coming back once in a while
Me as well. I wish I could find a copy where the moves & music match up a bit better
2023 and same!
2024 and same!!
It was OUTSTANDING!
I couldn't imagine anything more enjoyable as a dancer than getting to dance a Wade Robson group number. Everything is striking and oversized and always makes the dancers look incredible!
My favorite opening. Still watch it every now and then
Literally one of the best group routines this show has ever seen.
Yes every year or so I watch it about 50 times to remind myself of that
LITERALLY!!!!!
This is how you show off a top 20. Sigh Wade is really a genius!
Wade Robinson is such a genius!!!!
This and the Halloween one Wade did
My all time favorite group routine, Wade is a genius! I bought the song after watching this and can picture the dance every time it plays.
One of the best group routines of SYTYCD ever!!!!!!
one of my all time favourites, its brilliant to see wade combine all these characters together, makes it all really blend
Oh dear i can't stop watching this routine.i just love the beat and the dance.it's sassy..
after 5 years, still my favourit.
after 5 years, you havent spelled "favorite" right.
*****
try Chinese, German and math. your mom knows you bitch all the time?
Took me until when they got to almost the end of the documentary and showed ramalama bang bang to say....duh!!!;
I realize your comment is years old, but do you not know that in other countries (the UK & Canada for example) “favorite” is spelled as “favourite”? Yes, the OP made a typo and left off the ‘e’. But correcting it makes you sound like an arrogant American.
I can't get enough of this number, I simply love it. Wade Robson is a dancing genius!
Loooooved this routine. One of the very few I can remember specifically from all the other seasons.
It's been EIGHT years since I've seen this and I remembered it immediately. One of my ALL-TIME favorite group dances. Just wonderful the way it's put together and pulled off. Everyone's so great, the choreo is masterful!
In 2019 this is still one of my all time favorite dance videos ever. So damn sexy and classy!
This was genius!I would have never thought of anything like this! The camera effects were awesome!;)Just awesome!;)
I absolutely LOVE this routine by Wade Robson and all the contestants danced it so well! It's my favorite one of all! Absolutely Brilliant! I really dig the dance moves ~~~ Wade Robson is a genius and I hope he comes back for season 9 ~~~
Love this routine and the Ramalama one also is one of my absolute favorites, Wade Robson is a genius.
Where has Wade Robson been???? The show needs him!
My favorite group routine in this show's history. Thanks for posting this. I've been trying to find it for a while but I didn't know what it was called!!(:
I'd have to watch more group performances to be certain, but this is the BEST group routine I can recall EVER seeing on SYTYCD!
omfg wade is such a genius!!
its like a show that gets me excited every time
It's the end of 2022 & it's still the best choreo of all the time !!! ♥️
It’s so crazy to watch back and see how Wade paved a path for so many different types of choreography
Melissa Ferrell he got most of those moves off of MJ’s ,,, everyone knows that. Then he stabbed him in the back because he is broke and isn’t anything
April Hare43 I’m aware. I’m very aware
No inovation, no path. He is stuck in MJ's creativity and talent and he does not find the way out. Not sure trying to destroy his past idol as he does is the best way to be free.
Один из лучших танцев столетия. Вейд Гений. Успехов Вам , Вейд Робсон. С Любовью из России❤
The camera man was a big part of this piece. This is what a dance director should deliver. Just love it. Sadly the director seem to be going no where in the latest season.
Omg, Jakob is soo amazing, can't keep my eyes on no one else, love it. The routine really is the best, like, ever!
Oldies but Goodies! 👍👍👍
I can watch Wade's dance videos all day 24 /7. wish there were more. I also wish mj fans will get a new hobby.
I am an MJ fan and I have a different perspective of Wade, he actually has good dance moves even though he said lies about MJ , I see he is still great at dancing and I hope he continues
No pleasure to see that..agitation, no poetry, no fluidity, no reel art, just agitation. So is the guy
Jacob owned this.
Jakob stood out to me immediately. He ended up doing pretty well for himself after this, no surprise!
I remember when we learned this routine...my favorite group routine we ever did....
I hope it was as fun as it looks! This is my all-time favorite group number of any season. Congrats on your success! Love that you're a tapper. :)
This choreo lives in my head rent free
Absolutely Outstanding!!!, Wade's an amazing choreographer! Love this piece. His work is desperately needed on season 8. wish the video quality was clearer, but thans Kristen4 posting*
This choreography reminds me of Bob Fosse's "Sweet Charity", the ballroom dance
It id not kind for Bob Foss, such a great artist..
dude, Wade is AMAZING...
After 9 seasons, this is still my favorite Top 20 routine of all time. It showcased the best of each genre.
Waaaaaahhhoooo!! snort snort!
agree about Jakob, but Kathryn above Ellenore
The blonde in the red dress and All the ladies in the green dresses KILLED THIS couldn’t take my eyes off them!
I’m dead when green dresses came out, GORGEOUS!!!!!!
Wade Robson is the Einstein, the Michael Angelo of dance. He is simply put an honest to God genius when it comes to dance.
Humour ?
Sencillamente espectacular so yo think you can dance, el mejor programa de baile , increíbles coreografías y talento para derrochar 👏👏👏 excelencia, arte, alma y corazón puesto en la pista de baile.
One of the best routines on the show! I remember I used to watch it constantly on my DVR.
Same!!
Malika9618- Here is the information about the song. If you look under the video in the right corner, it lists the artist and the songs used.
Artist: The Revels
Buy "Comanche" on: AmazonMP3
this season... dance wise... is still the SUPERIOR season to me
0:58 Who is the person in the centre? PLEASE, PLEASE HELP. Thank you.
That's awesome! I love jazz music, sax, and Wade Robson.

Had to watch on repeat.
LOVE THIS DANCE SO MUCH. I miss Wade...did anyone else notice that Nigel didn't stand for the ovation at the end? #shade

You are the best, Annie. Thank you SO much for the kind words. :) xx
Lauren Elaine He's was just tired maybe-- he is an old man
their is literally NO EXPLANATION for everybody in that whole f*ing studio jumping to their feet to applaud this routine. INCREDIBLE!
*NOT jumping to their feet! My bad.
THE BEST GROUP ROUTINE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This season was so interesting to me- can't remember any other season with talent so underwhelming, yet other talent so unbelievably good, at all the same time.
this is that kind of video you just watch over and over and over again!!!
ikr? I just found this and it was recorded 8 years ago! I won't be doing much for the next hour but hitting replay
This is still my favorite sytycd group routine...
Wade Robsos's routine is one of a kind! ;)
I think the sound is a bit off in this video
probably the best best group routine of all time. wade created not just a routine but but a world inhabited by recognizable characters
One of my favorite group routines.
This lives in my mind rent free
Such a great group dance, with so much character! I really liked that season's dancers. Elinor was one of my favorites, & I was happy w. Russell winning (tho I hated how they kept lying about his dance background). Just saw Billy Bell recently, w. Cedar Lake Ballet, a wonderful company--see them if you can!
It's really nice to get to go back and see some dances from Season 6! One of the best IMO
2023 and stil Watch it
this routine....
very "speak easy"!!! love it!
2020 Still my favorite
Watching leaving Neverland and was like....wait....I know this guys face. Had NO IDEA!!!
I know right? I started watching it and thought 'wait a minute, I know this name! Is that the guy from SYTYCD?' yep it is - haven't been able to get through that documentary yet.
Isn't this the remake of Smooth Criminal. IJS - so relive the work of the man that molest you. OK
@@wesleyfulton2186s, dude is obsessed by MJ. Actually he speaks like him, same intination and same words. He is really weird
@@wesleyfulton2186*intonation
That's so interesting. I believed he had no formal training and never bothered to check. He was a great dancer anyways and I especially loved his afro-jazz piece by Sean Cheeseman. Thanks.
I so much agree with you. :54 is priceless. Jakob stole the routine.
YES!
I love the opening!
Reminds me of the great choreography of West Side Story. Brilliant.
2024, still need to get me a hit of Wade group dance numbers.
your right bro,the show lacks this routines we in season 9 and still needs him
Man, I wish that people still dressed like this every day, look how classy the dancers look in those threads!!! Bitchin' music and dance moves as well.
@SWAK1774 It looks like he did that for a while, but is working on choreography for movies more these days. It would be really cool for him come back and choreograph for the show again next season. His routines are my favorites on the show.
Wade Robson routine is my fav.
This dance reminds me of Smooth Criminal by MJ, but an updated verison. Amazing! Wade is genius
SC cannot be updated. It is a total creation. Vain attempt
Still in love with this routine 😍
Waaaay more positive than my other memory of this song
Ahhh still amazing in 2020!!
2023 may ❤ still mind blown
To me the guys owned it way more than the girls....
this dance makes me think of the Havana Club scene in Guys and Dolls...
I love that scene!! Also, big borrowings from Bob Fosse's Sweet Charity
Really? Isn't it more like the speak easy scene from "the untouchables".
Carefull, that Don have tommy guns...
ESPECTACULAR!!!!!!!
i loooove this routine! & is it just me, or is the music off-sync just a bit?
@mediamamachick Which one is Jake?
Jakob is in the group of 5 guys who come forward at 0:54. He is directly in the middle and the only guy with white sleeves
The way Jacob killed that 0:52 entrance.
So, officially speaking, what's the name of this dance style?
xsara123 i believe its broadway
no I think it'd be considered jazz
@looonger I totally agree with you. The camera man worked so well with them and hilighted them. Awesome team! :D Later seasons are def. sucking kinda. :( (Camera-connection wise.)
Jakob at :54 is soo good!
My absolute favourite routine of all that I've seen.
If only the sound wasn't about half a sec off from the video, I'd watch it everyday! Still will keep coming back. I checked more thoroughly a few years ago for another copy. No joy ☹️
Saw it when it aired and still in awe of how sick this is
Mike was def proud of this he loved the movie westside story
@joeiisweird Isn't he on tour choreographing some show for that magician Kris Angel?
@xsara123 This is 100% jazz I'd say, with major 1960s influences :)
It's the "speak easy" underground, baby!
Dont let the copper (and bible thumper) knows!
You need to put this video in mobile version please!
The Humming bird routine choregraphed by Wade danced by Hok and Jamie is best ever and won an Emmy so you're wrong he's good at choregraphing for just about anybody rather its large group or small duets.
The music on this video is out of sync.. like 1-2 secs behind, it totally ruins the timed "finger snaps" :/
How the boys enter will always be my favorite
i love this style. makes me think of fosse
I wish the show incorporated more fosse-esque dance. And I WISH THEY'D USE WADE MORE!
Wade is INCREDIBLE! Wtf!
Hum not in the best way
Legacy, Kevin, Jakob, Russell, and Billy did the damn thing on this routine!!!
Wade is a legend for this
Who is choreograph?
that was an amazing routine !!!!! Brilliant !
wade robson numbers are literally timeless. this is still just as cool today as it was back then
@DYE9 just download real player downloader then you can download to your laptop then convert to you smart phone.. :)
