been editing in premiere for 8+ years and just started learning AE. the amount of tutorials that i literally cannot participate in because of the hundreds of $$$'s of plugins is stupid - thank you for this tutorial doing it the simplest way possible!

I just recently got after effects 2020 and I was so lost HOWEVER, i came upon this video and it helped me soooo much unlike other tutorials that were complicated and included plug-ins this was the best tutorial for velocities and i love it so much everything came out just like yours!!

This is crazy, im following a after effects tutorial and it using twixtor and twitch and stuff and those are like sujper expensive and this tutorial helped me so much!!

GUYS I HAVE A FIX FOR YOUR CLIP FREEZING WHEN YOU ADD TIMEWARP!
1. Make sure when you pre-compose click on "Move all atributtes"
2. If it still doesn't work then go into your pre composed layer, go into composition settings and change the fps to match the overall composition settings (so, if you turned on the project and typed in 60 fps, then put 60 fps there)
3. Also if it freezes halfway into the clip then when you pre-compose make sure TO NOT click on "match the time to the layer" or something like that

Oh no!! I don’t know why you can’t see it, but if you’re on your keyboard you can press alt + F9 to Easy Ease your keyframes! Maybe that would work!:D

Ah no! Maybe it’s because inside of your composition your clip wasn’t long enough, or maybe you didn’t press on “move all attribute” when you pre-composed your clip! It did happened to me once!😂 if that’s not it then I don’t know…☹️

im really confused on how to add the keyframe for the speed?? like can someone help me understand im a bit lost 😭😭
Basically you just have to click on the little watch next to the speed! And then you can go down to the effects > timewarp and you’ll see the same thing but with a little diamond, so repeat by going forward and clicking on the little diamond!:) hope this helps!✨
When I keyframe 200 my clip is long but the clip is stuck at last frame for 5 seconds cuz it’s so slow any help? I want the clip to be the length when I time stretch it

It never happened to me, but you could try reloading your clip by right clicking on the clip you’ve imported and you’ll see reload footage! Maybe that could help!:)
Hi my graph is different? there's no yellow line for the VERY FIRST POINT. If you know what I mean, it's a square instead and idk what to do LOL 2:30
Lock the tiny grey circle at the bottom
Oh u have to click a key frame first too
You also have to change your graph to a speed graph by clicking the icon next to the eyeball

@@HindHind-gi4hu it means that the clip in your composition is at its end, if I’m not mistaken… but you can stretch your clip by going in your composition!
