Definitely a good surprise seeing all of the $17 clearance boxes. I've also seen some $13 clearance boxes lately. That J-Rod pull out of the one box was pretty great. So far I've only scooped up the Bowman Platinum clearance boxes but after seeing this, I'll have to consider the others too.
Dude!!!!!! My Walmart hasn't had a clearance box yet I. So jealous.....select optic and mosaic blasters for $17?!?! That's cheaper than before pandemic days!
My son and I have been buying these left an right at our Wal Mart. Optics have done us the best, 3 autos and 2 numbered cards in 4 boxes. Bowman 1 auto and 1 numbered cards in about 5. The Mosaics came out really bent, been eyeing the Select but wasn't sure if it was worth it. Glad to see you covered it, thanks! Great video
Box store full of baseball cards? Must be nice! All I see in Seattle are shelves that have been ransacked or not stocked at all. Finding a baseball card product is like chasing a unicorn. I can't even imagine the dream of the beginning of your video. I've forgotten what it feels like to buy baseball cards in person. Does it feel as cool as I remember? I guess I'm living vicariously now.

Pulled a Bobby Witt Jr blue border /75 out of a Gallery discount box.
Nice getting decent hits at half price and if you don't get anything you're not as disappointed.
Wow, great purchase Eric. Wish they had discount boxes at the Walmarts in S. Eastern MA. Barely see good blasters at that. Somebody down here has the inside scoop lol.
I can't believe how much they had! Thought I struck gold last week with clearance at walmart, but I only found platinum, archives, & gallery. BTW, that mystery tin you seen, if you have any spare time, you might be interested in what I got out of a pack in one of those. 4 years collecting and never seen anything like it! uploaded the video right after! haha. Say it ain’t so about archives! I hadn’t seen that set on the chopping block in any article I could find. That’s one of my favorites sets as I like seeing older players on newer designs and newer players on the older designs! My Walmart seems to be getting out of cards as a quick check shows they don’t have any currently.

Fun fact: I grew up in Charlottesville right up the street from DM and he actually performed at my friend's wedding. Also used to do work for the band when I worked as a mason in cville! One of my favorite bands!!

pulled a J-Rod SP Image Variation out of the 2022 Topps Archives blaster a couple of days ago. Feels good pulling a $150 card out of a $17 clearance box.

Ironically 2 weeks ago I bought a few blasters of Series 2 on clearance and pulled a julio short print as well. I was equally as excited!!

Just started collecting baseball cards. My friend thats an older friend gave me 9 card collecting white boxes full of some 60, 70, most 80, and 90's. It has started a passion that i had as a kid. Now i have my son ans step sons collecting.

Man what a life. Dave Matthews Band and busting packs. The 2022 Heritage boxes ring up at $16.98 if they don't have a sticker. There may be other Topps blasters that ring up $16.98 even if they don't have a sticker. The price is changed in the Walmart system.
I wasn’t lucky enough to pull the JRod SP, but did manage to snag a PSA 9 of it on eBay for $70 so I guess that will do…still not as fun as pulling it yourself! Luckily I did pull his Update SP from a hanger…great vid as always Mr. Jabs!
Still haven’t got lucky coming across the clearance section , but ill be hunting !

my local grocery store by work has 22 bowman blasters at $17. chrome 22 at $22. chrome update mega at $35 and stadium club at $17.
I’ve only come across a few clearance boxes but I’ll continue to pickup all the 2022 Prizm draft picks at $17 that I see.

walmart ends the prices with 8s bc there was a study done that ppl will be more likely to buy something w the number 8 than ending in a 9. mattress firm did that and their mattress sales tripled the first quarter they ended their prices w an 8 also.

I bought 3 Archives blasters and pulled an auto and a red foil Ohtani numbered to 50. Not bad for the price. Now the bigger question is, if they’re still making money at $17 what is the profit margin at $25? It seems like we’re getting hosed by Panini and Topps.

I just hit a Bobby Witt real one on card auto out of heritage 2022 today for 16.99 I couldn’t believe it definitely scooping more up

This was the best variety of discount boxes I have seen. Congrats on the J Rod pull. I actually pulled the same one in my second hanger box I found at Walgreens. Then I tried to get 10 more hanger boxes and got other good cards. Really nice cards in these discount boxes!

Wish you could find this in Southern California.
Walmart uses .88 rather than .95 or .99 because it makes it look cheaper than it is and there's some deal with even numbers when it comes to pricing.

Ole DMB will always have a special place in my heart. 1994-2000 was my introduction to a whole new new realm of music. I too collected bootlegs. Mainly Widespread Panic and some My morning jacket. Sadly sadly as it is, I've never took the chance to somewhere.
