I don’t think that’s a winner line, given that Luke kept his ground too. I think the “you used you mother as a bullet proof vest” counters that line. And the “you might be potter, but I planted your seed” then goes to explain how. Like that’s such a good verse. In my opinion, Luke definitely won that first round. I believe that Harry won the second round, and Luke and Harry tied on the third.

Skywalker was as clever and probably made the most with what little he had on Potter, but Harry just had so such more ammunition due to the state of Star Wars.
I prefer Star Wars BUT Potter wins for the "Slytherin a Sister" and "other hand" Lines alone.

I've watched it ten times today and every time I choose a new winner. Overall Luke had the superior flow and bars but Harry's disses were on point. I'd have to give it to Luke but by a slim margin.
To me I thought Harry had more of a consistent flow while Luke's gets interrupted to much. But that's just my take

@@watersheep7175 Luke had some lines that were okay, but a lot of them were more funny than they were actually insulting. But for the most part, Harry won. He had more insulting bars and Luke didn’t even go hard, in fact some of the rounds were boring just because he kept using the same roast over and over again but just worded it differently. Harry actually made room for his more important bars and they ACTUALLY sounded good when they were said. I found his word play was also a bit better and thank fuck he was actually not holding back.

Luke had great flow, especially once he got past the voice cracking stuff, but he took too long to get to the good stuff. Meanwhile harry was smacking him with jabs, body shots, and haymakers from the very start and didnt stop for all three verses. I liked that. Often thats the problem with the longer raps, they run out of good stuff to say or hold onto it till the end so a verse or two ends up sucking, harry had gold from start to finish. Harry won.

I was saying that in my opinion Harry reversed the Human Shield line with "The death of my mother saved the Wizarding Race, your mum died of heartache when she saw your face" cause Leia saw that Luke and Leia were born, I think named them (not sure on that bit) then died

(technically she actually died from heartbreak over anakin, but the way they did it was really weird and they didn't explain that until years later, and so people were confused about how she died. Plus the way it was worded the first time they actually explained it was said weirdly so it seemed like she died of heart ache when she saw his face. which is why harry said it even though it's technically not completely accurate. the point is still there though so I still consider it a hilarious line) They didn't even mention the Bellatrix Dead sirius line that was you.

Honestly this is a really hard call for me because I love both Harry Potter and Star Wars in the both had great bars how ever I've listened to the several times and I think Luke has to take the win because when Luke made the mother line about you use your mother as a bullet proof vest Harry got angry and started going just hard core murderous intent which I love to see but after all of that look just brush that often is like in a healthy deadly volleys fire and the goblet like hes got nothing I does the best he has and then he says Maybe he will get saved by an Anorexic hobbit the way he presented that and just casually dist everything Harry had just thrown at him I think won that battle

The Dead Sirius line was used first, and to greater effect, in the princess battle between Hermione and Katniss. That being said, Potter just destroyed Skywalker in this battle.

I liked the rebuttal on moms myself. "My mom died in a heroic sacrifice. Yours died from heartbreak after looking at you." Then followed up by the slytherin line just added a fresh coat of cement to the sealed off casket luke was being buried in.
Harry wins first half, luke second half, but Harry was overall stronger, luke opened too weak
It was one of the details is because Luke at first was not confident himself and young as the movies go on he gets more confident like he did on the later verses.

Harry’s disses had me laughing way more than Luke ever did, but the reason I say Luke won is because I thought some of Harry’s disses were taken out of context or not all true. Like I’m sure there’s a high demand for moisture on a desert planet with two suns since it’s so rare to get, which makes that business a smart move. Padme didn’t die when she saw Luke, it was because of Anakin. He also didn’t know that Leia was his sis and also they never got together, though that is def the best line in this rap 😂😂😂😂😂. The one thing Luke missed tho was a chance to tell Harry he could “single-handedly” take him down after the punch Harry gave him about not having two hands. Still Luke’s icy rap in the first verse of his had my vibing way more than Harry.
