I’m a long-time Android phone user who has always loved the iPad (not the iPhone though) but thought it was too expensive. But I got the iPad Pro 11 for myself as an early birthday gift a few days ago after more than 10 years of not owning one. I’m still getting used to the gestures and shortcuts, so this video is so helpful. Thank you! I have also subscribed to the channel.
Glad you started with the “Tap to Note” feature - this is one of the single biggest time saver anyone with an iPad and Apple Pencil 2 can get themselves in the habit of doing as it eliminates one of the biggest time wasters between grabbing an iPad/Penicil and a good old fashioned paper notepad and pencil. Someone is about to tell you a number, address, etc - but a tablet just takes too long - you have to turn it on, swipe up/face rec/touch id, find the app icon, tap to open it, make a new document, start tapping it out on the keypad if you can get them to repeat it, whereas the notepad users just grabbed it and jotted it down. This trick allows almost as fast recording of info and is amazingly useful!!! And that’s just the opening tip - great video all around!!!
My full time personal computer is an iPad Pro 12.9 inch. I would love to see other tips and tricks on this kind of productivity. I work as an IT person so I really enjoy finding ways of using my iPad to be more productive.
I subscribed to your channel because you seem like a down to earth person. As you thanked someone from whom you got a trick also you admitted that you are not a pro. 😊
Fun Fact: the 4-finger swipe to switch between your recently used apps can also be achieved by swiping left or right on the home bar on the bottom of the screen. It’s similar to how it works on the iPhone!
This is what i wanted to write. Interesting how this is not known by a lot of youtubers ( or people in general ) it was one of the first things i started to do when i got my iPhone X
This video was really helpful as I'm fully jumping into using my iPad pro for more full-time work use instead of just a sketching a media consumption device.
Wow, definitely putting this video into my favourites. Everything is really useful and want to keep referring to it until I’ve adopted everything as second nature. Thanks.
Your Lofi shortcut is AMAZING. I duplicated it and replaced the link with my own Lofi beats. This will prevent me from getting distracted on RUclips while finding a Lofi selection. Thanks!
This one ipad productivity video was actually helpful. Others tips and productivity for ipad videos i have seen are so useless and just trying to sell random updates
I’m very new to your channel but so far I really like what I’ve seen. Thank you so much for telling me about the text replacement feature. It genius and I will definitely be using it all the time.
Hi, really loved all ur vids. A small question, my ipad is the m2 ipad pro and has a different on screen keyboard than yours. Any idea how i can get ur keyboard
Love your videos @Byte Review! I try using your lo-if shortcut, but it doesn’t seem to work because of how the RUclips app is working. When you open RUclips and try to go to another app, then he video playing will stop. Is there any way to fix that ?
GREAT VIDEO!! Text replacement will be super useful for email address etc. The shortcut workspace feature is a real neat idea in how to keep your home screen clutter free, rather than trying to be too organised. I just wish it was a feature of the IOS that we didn't have to do it ourselves lol
Keyboard is very helpful and I use it often. I does hid my Freq email lists so I do wish it would move out of the way when choosing email addresses from the recent mail to list.
Thanks 🙏 bud, great features indeed, just have question about iPad mini 6 internal storage as I’m little confused between 64, 256 I need to save some money with 64 then compensate it with external hard but if I did it can I run stuffs on SSD instead of transfer it to device such movies, songs, documents? Plz advise

Great list of tips Tom. Most of these I’d completely forgot about.
Thanks man! And yeah, half the reason for me making it was to remind myself haha!
Yo Spawnpoint! Nice to see you here 😇

It's insane how many little things Apple hid in the iPad. I feel like I learn something newly mind-blowing every time I watch a video like this.
Crazy that some of them are so hidden! Glad it was a helpful video

This video was really helpful as I'm fully jumping into using my iPad pro for more full-time work use instead of just a sketching a media consumption device.
Awesome, iPads are great for that!
Excellent stuff. Can’t believe the progress the iPad has made since our first one on 2007. But this incredible.
