I do think some people have a point that I may have been a little unclear with my power judgement of him. Yes really do I think his top team is basically just as strong as other characters top teams. But there are better options than him in those teams (yae for aggravate, alhaitham for hyperbloom). You do NOT pull Cyno for meta alone. But I still stand by that his best team belongs in the same tier and right next to if not just a bit below those other top teams. Good power level, very low account value is what I said, but I just want to make sure I’m clear that for power level other option are usually better. But anyone who says he’s weak, or Way below those teams I don’t think is being honest either.
one underrated advantage cyno has over alhaitham is consolidating both the quicken and hyperbloom driver into 1 unit, which lets him take full advantage of furina by running baizhu alongside nahida since alhaitham is dendro, he only has room for 1 other dendro on the team. you're not able to comfortably slot in baizhu without dropping nahida, which only leaves you with kuki for generating furina stacks if we ever get a teamwide electro healer that can also trigger hyperblooms off-field this will change, but right now alhaitham furina teams feel incomplete
I thought your assessment was pretty balanced. Too many stop at pure account value and not the details of what their best teams are and why they’re strong ✅
To be honest I'm not pulling for Cyno only because I don't have Nahida or Raiden, and they are on some of the most premier teams that I see you have on all of your videos featuring either one or the other. Until I get both of those characters @Jello Impact my account won't feel complete even though I know you would say different because I have almost all the other characters that you have, without Nahida or Raiden my account feels like it's lacking
cyno is a character that requires a lot of planing tbh but when hes good he is really good. i wish he felt that good in overworld but using him in abyss and combat events is always fun
@@qwertysysysyysysysyzz That Is completely false. He can 36* the Abyss even at lower investiment with a 3* weapon and 4* supports. The only thing that he needs Is Nahida, but so do Nilou and Alhaitham, so it's not a Cyno only issue.
@@davidm0355 where's your proof then he can't 36s star abyss anymore he needs nahida baizhu furina now to even be viable atleast alhaitham got yaoyao and dmc as nahida replacement and nilou yaoyao collei works unlike cyno lmao
Ive been using cyno religiously in abyss since his first run. No regrets. It was so satisfying using him in the second half of this abyss since there was no multiwave. Praying to finally get his c2 after losing some 50/50s. Great guide as always
@@javelinmaster2 It's alright, I'm sure you'll be able to witness the General Mahahaha's punny jokes in the future should there be an event in Summer-u.
As a cyno player who pulled him on his first banner i'd like to warn all that you *REALLY* do not want to skip ER on him, all of his damage comes exclusively from his 80 energy burst and if you dont have it perfectly recharged by the end of the rotation you will wish you had pulled a different character His ER is extremely important and i'd seriously advise getting a solid 140% ER before focusing on his damage Another thing of note is that if you use DMC instead of nahida your ER problems are bigger Not only because he generates less particles overall but also because his dendro app is slower and this means less consistent thundering fury skill recharges (i still lack nahida so the 140% ER is based off DMC energy generation, with nahida you will need less)
This. While he was listing his weapon options, he kinda glossed over ER ones like Skyward Spine. These aren't half bad if you don't have ER built in your artifacts. My Cyno has like 150 ER, and it's so comfortable to be able to swap out early while still getting your burst back when you need it. It alleviates his multi wave downside.
I agree with this statement, nothing worse than finishing an abyss floor early into your burst so you didn’t get to recharge his energy. It happens so often that I don’t mind sacrificing a little damage in place of ER
You don't Really need 140% if you have Fischl ( She can Battery Cyno, Especially with Fav Bow even on C0) Now DMC's ER will be pain (Pretty sure everyone can C6 him), Running with Sac Sword will be great since he can get more energy For Last slot For Hydro XQ will be his best option cuz he could focus more on ER making it possible to run him without Sac Sword Or Any strong Shielder or can provide Healing,DR, or IR
Beidou is underrated with Cyno for mobbing content. She gives: Interruption resistance Damage Reduction AoE coverage Extra Shield for bonus survivability 100% Hyperbloom Ownership to Cyno 15% Electro Shred at C6 The ER cost is not really that much of a problem with Electro Resonance & Favge.
The thing is his team is strict, there's not much room for flexibility, Beidou could replace Nahida but then he loses a lot of bloom dmg, replace Furina then it's an aggravate team, works but not the best team for him, can't replace Baizhu though. I guess you could play Cyno Nahida(prototype amber) Xingqiu Beidou for a spin, don't know how strong though

NGL, i don't really want him, but i kinda wanna pull just for the 4-stars on his banner. And if i get him, pretty decent unit that i have his best team built already.

@@JelloImpact yeah I understand, like with the pyro lectors. Thanks for replying though! Very cool. And yeah, a percentage stats opinion is fine too, thank you!
@@RecordToDeathToBoredom havent done that on spiral abyss, but i tried running him on yelan, nahida, yao yao with tenacity. it's actually very viable. though furina, nahida, and baizhu will boost your damage even further, especially if you equip baizhu with ttods and noblesse
Hard disagree on "Enguffing Lighting not good on him because he doesn't want the ER" Cyno is very energy hungry Engulfing not only help his energy problems, it's also reward him for doing so by converting ER to Atk buff
I actually think Cyno could potentially get better due to the upcoming Natlan region. We've learned that the new character(I'm not even gonna attempt to spell her name) is based off of Overload reactions, and apparently she is going to be absolutely insane times infinity for those, and we will definitely get more characters in the future for that reaction, so I think that Cyno could potentially have a better Overload team in the future. Overload is scaled on EM, after all. At the very least, I think overload teams could become a viable team for Cyno
We’re you referring to Chevreuse? Because if you did she limits the team to Pyro and Electro only which means giving up on Dendro reactions. I think she is great but for other units that can focus on Overload better than Cyno can. There aren’t many great off field pyro units that last as long as Cyno wants. Maybe Xiangling with constellations. But then you have 2 energy black holes on the team
@ThePenguinsKing Yeah, after playing with her I realize she isn't great with Cyno. But... my statement still stands that he could get buffed further and overload becomes viable with him as Natlan characters come out!
The characters that punch (wriothesley, cyno, razor, dehya, and heizou) have some of the most fun and satisfying playstyles but are all held back either by damage numbers or general quality of life issues. It's so annoying.
I started as a Razor main until Cyno came out and then pulled him. I've loved playing his teams since! It started with Cyno/Xingqiu/Collei/Kuki, and then Cyno/XQ/Nahida/Kuki. Baizhu replaced Kuki. I sometimes use Fischl over Xingqiu when facing things like Oceanid. Now that Furina is out, I plan on adding her in to make the team you mentioned in your video. He's not the best in overworld just due to him being burst focused, but you did mention that. I don't have any five star polearms and currently have him on R1 Ballad of the Fjords. Not sure yet if I want to try to go for his weapon or not this patch.
Thundering Fury really helps with Cyno's ER requirements and can easily reach higher damage totals in longer rotations compared to Guilded. You do have to be careful with your E timings cause from the third off-beat E onwards, Thundering Fury's cooldown reduction timing won't match with his Endseer passive. So basically after your 3rd Eyeseer skill, you have to wait even if your cooldown has reset, after which you can go back to spamming your skill off-cooldown. Also TF is overall more fun lol
is it really that good? I just got cyno & am hesitant to try TF since it sounds more complicated and less braindead, and i've been farming Deepwood/Gilded already, but you make it sound tempting. Maybe i will try later if i have extra resin to burn, haha.
@@peytonsharp6159more fun, more energy and more dmg. if you play quickbloom you can get two e's before your first endseer e, then after that, you can get a normal e in between every endeer e.
After the snub that he was done collectively by the community after his release, seeing this quality guide warms this Cyno main's soul. About the ER requirements, I'm running him with 4p GD and 146%, and he runs smoothly with other electros. However, in his Furina team (which I like to call Divine Justice) I have both her and Baizhu on fav to make them all work well, and even then there's been some moments where I'm still a bit short for his burst. It's definitely worth it, but just saying that non-TF Cynos might still struggle sometimes even with your threshold. Depends on the content, of course, as mob content gives more particles and it's not an issue there. I'd say 140s-150s is your minimum to feel more sure. Also, I've had a lot of fun and comfiness with Kuki as his healer and battery even if she steals a lot of hyperbloom pops (but that's not a problem since she normally has higher EM and stronger pop damage than him, even mine who wears tenacity in his team does a couple more k's)
Cyno is definitely underestimated, but I think that Jello Impact overestimates him. Firstly, he's never the best alternative for a team. Alhaitham is better, Yae is slightly, but better, Keqing and DPS Raiden are approximately on the same level. Secondly, his long burst animation is uncomfortable and limits the characters he can play with. Although Yae and Keqing aren't that great in hyperbloom, they still have more characters to play with, because Cyno doesn't like being in a team with Kirara, Collei, Yao Yao, Sucrose, Jean, etc., which are decent in Keqing's and Yae's teams. Additionally, he doesn't have off-field electro damage or electro application, but Yae and Raiden do. Yae can be an off-field sub-dps in Spread, aggravate, taser and other teams, and Raiden is a great hyperbloom trigger (apart from having a hyper team without dendro, taser teams, and being a nice support slot in Eula teams, and, of course, Rational). Cyno is both not the best option in any team and not a very flexible unit with limited number of characters he can play with. Basically, if you don't want Cyno just because you like him, there's no reason to pull for him, because you can pull Raiden or Yae (if you have Kuki) and gain more. Although Keqing might be a slightly less powerful unit, especially in hyperbloom, if you do have her and Kuki or Raiden, Cyno is not gonna make your results in the Abyss much higher than they can be with Keqing. They are likely to be a bit higher, but still it's not enough to justify getting a character if you don't really like Cyno's lore, gameplay, etc. Even having Keqing and Kuki almost eleviates Cyno's value for your account (meta-wise). Of course, Jello Impact doesn't say "You must pull for him!", but his perception of Cyno affects the perception of his audience, and so some people might think: "I don't really like Cyno, but Jello Impact says that he's on the same level as Hu Tao and Alhaitham, and I like playing meta and having strong teams, so I'm gonna pull for him!" And then those people will find out the truth as they get more characters: "Wait! My Yae does more damage and is more comfortable! My Alhaitham does more damage and is more comfortable! My Raiden in most of her possible teams does more damage! My Hu Tao does more damage! And all of them (except maybe Hu Tao, but I'm not sure) are more flexible than Cyno! Why did I pull for him in the first place?! Oh, yeah, because Jello Impact said that Cyno is approximately on the same level with all these characters!"
I have raiden, yae and cyno. My cyno outperform any other char on my acc. He is very strong. Raiden is bad in hyperbloom. Her burst only 6 sec, and the huge cooldown. The good thing about hyperbloom, you always has 3 strong elements that can deal with almost any content
@@teenagesilver6512 It is your account and your experience. I'm talking about the overall strength of Cyno. About the opinion of many theorycrafters, such as TGS, Zajeff and others. Abyss clears with Cyno aggravate tend to be a little bit faster than with Keqing and a little bit slower than with Yae. And his hyperbloom clears are on average slightly worse than Alhaitham's. So if you invest more or less equally into Cyno and Yae, she's usually gonna be slightly better in aggravate, same with Cyno and Alhaitham in hyperbloom: Alhaitham is a bit better. And Cyno has a lot of other disadvantages that Yae, Alhaitham and others don't which I pointed out in my previous comment. When I was talking about Raiden in hyperbloom, I was referring to her hyperbloom trigger role when she only uses her skill. And she's the best character for this role, if you don't need a healer (than Kuki might be better). Cyno is better as a hyperbloom on-fielder, that's true. Hyperbloom is great, I agree.
@@masterjedicat now I see your point, and I agree. But in Alhaitham case, he can't use furina properly. If you take furina+baizhu, you lose nahida. If you take futina+kuki, you have a bad time to stack fanfare. The main reason is in furina. I think in both best teams it's arguable. And cyno has some flexible other picks too, but it's harder to contribute. Both alhaitham and cyno are dependant on nahida. Alhaitham isn't that good without nahida, you can say cyno is good with furina + baizhu + someone else, but does it make sense..
@@teenagesilver6512 You can give Nahida Prototype Amber, and although the healing from it is not ideal, with Kuki it's not bad. And then Alhaitham's alright with Furina. He can also use Baizhu, although it's obviously not ideal. You can use Alhaitham without Nahida on a double hydro team with Xingqiu, Yelan and Kuki, but Cyno would be much worse here. And you can use Baizhu, Yao Yao or Kirara instead of Nahida, though it's worse of course, but still better than Cyno without Nahida. Cyno needs Nahida more, than Alhaitham, and he needs Baizhu/Zhongli much more, than Alhaitham. Cyno has less characters to be on the team with. Kirara, Yao Yao, Yae and possibly some other characters are not very good with Cyno, but alright with Alhaitham. And the only unit Cyno can synergize with and Alhaitham can't - is Kazuha, but even then his buff is not long enough for Cyno's burst. Sucrose and other Anemo units are quite bad with both of them.
I tried him for the first time in the battle event that ended a few days ago and for some reason his eye skill felt so satisfying to use. I will be pulling for Kuki on the upcoming banner, but if I accidentally get Cyno in the meantime, I wouldn't mind.
As I Cyno enjoyer, not gonna lie, I personally found new love for him when I started to play him in a Quickbloom comp that consists of: Cyno, Fishl/Beidou (depends on the enemies but mainly Fishl), Prototype Amber Nahida and Xingqiu. Resistance to interuption from XQ, healing from his swords and also Prototype, makes the team relatively safe, and the dmg this team makes is off the charts. Not sure if this team is mathematicly correct and for sure it has less overall dps then the Furina Cyno Quickbloom, but this team is unexpectedly comfy :)
this is exactly what im planning to do!! i accidentally got cyno a while ago (2.X? idk) and i really regretted it but since nahida might rerun soon im waiting for her and doing this team!!
I like Cyno and I tried to play him in so many different ways. I have pretty much every character important to his comps, and at the end of the day I had to put an ER artifact on him to make sure he always has his burst ready. His hyperbloom or quickbloom team are so much harder to play compared to the others. If you play him in a quickbloom with Furina Nahida and Baizhou with a ER artifact, he's pretty viable and you won't lose that much EM thanks to Nahida.
@JelloImpact Could you make a best "unga bunga" teams guide? I am a pretty casual player and I love your guides on teams that do not require "sweaty" gameplay.
Cyno is one of the most f2p unfriendly characters and he is nearly unplayable without both Baizhu and Nahida, he also excels at no roles without his BiS team and R1. Hyperbloom? Kuki double hydro is better. Quickbloom? Alhaitam is better. Hypercarrier setup? Raiden is better. Aggravate? Keqing/Yae are better. Electro-charged? Fischl/Yae are better. Overload? Raiden will be busted with the next c6 4*

I'm looking forward to Cyno. He's been kinda fun in the trials I've gotten to play him in so far (his story quest, the recent event) but all of them had pretty sus builds. Knowing he just gets better with proper investment is great. Thanks for the video. I feel like the only problem is pulling for Cyno feels almost like it comes with a Nahida requirement, his best non-Nahida teams seem... mildly cope? I just about laughed when I saw a promising Baizhu/Xingqiu/Thoma team in your video... only for you to dash my dreams by saying it should be Nahida, lmao.
Cyno having a top tier team is great, but that also just adds more to one of his problems that I dread which is it feels bad to play in overworld. With Nahida, Furina, Baizhu, you might as well be playing 3 characters in the overworld cause enemies die before he even comes up.
All I do in overworld is just use Baizhu only then Cynos burst because Furina and nahida are overkill against easier enemies. Just make sure you give them more er in overworld situations
I managed to pull c0 Baizhu, Furina, and now Cyno today, but they're not very well built yet. No Nahida though. I've got Cyno on moonpiercer, but since every time I look up what's good for him everyone says something different, so moonpiercer he stays for now. So personally as a C2R1 Cyno haver, I still prefer to use Thundering Fury, to be able to use more skills during his burst. I'm not good enough to maximise them, but I still manage to fit always one and sometimes two extra skills. The extra energy helps with his needs as it's something I've been struggling with. I would probably need to get a bit more ER in general but.. eh.. it is what it is.
I usually like Jello Impact, but i have to disagree with the overall positive feelings towards Cyno. Cyno is a bait champ. I would not reccomend going for him only because he is a hypercarry that requires a lot of investment to be good. I would only go for him if you have these team combinations: Yelan/Furina/xingqui C2, Nahida, Baizhu/yao yao (If you don't have Baizhu, you have to use xingqui paired with yao yao). If you have these team combinations, then go for Cyno and he will do exceptional! He has a fun kit and can do a lot of damage, especially in single target. Even then, you need to have plenty of ER substats to do well in these teams also so that might force you to use Thundering Fury too. So you have to hyperinvest his team, and then also hyperinvest his build to be optimal. When Cyno's best possible team, which includes 3 5 star characters, still can't outdamage Alhaithiam who can do more damage with less investment and in more combination of teams, you know Cyno has issues... There are VERY few teams where in any combination of 3 champtions, Cyno is the best 4th option. The only team where Cyno is the best 4th option is in a furina/yelan, Nahida, and Baizhu team. Maybe a kazuha(sucrose okay), Fischl C6, and yao yao team as well if the enemy is single target... Maybe, but even then ther are plenty of more powerful F2P teams.... Outside of those teams, you can go for DPS units that can do more damage with less investment and more flexibility that can handle multi wave content and don't have survivability issues. Cyno will only be a strong pull if you build your entire team around him and that itself makes him one of the worst 5 star characters in the game in my opinion.

honestly, I love cyno my boy but I still won't forget how dirty they did him with his kit... high on field time "carry" that depends on off field application but even his best supports have some let downs with him :/ nahida in multiwaves suck w him (you can use dendro trav but no dmg + circle impact so eh) and baizhu not lasting enough to be full comfy w him in my personal experience... like don't regret pulling for him 'cause I only pulled 'cause I liked him as a character but yeah, he's definitely not a good character to pull metawise, he's also very hard to build, he wants every single stat beside HP and DEF 😃 also pain to play overworld... it's just sigh... why do they have to fumble with a teyvat trailer character so bad
I got furina but don’t have the primos for baizhu. There’s no cyno team without cyno after all xdd had to leave someone behind. I’ve been using yaoyao with furina and it doesn’t feel bad at all and I’m not really into the meta stuff so maybe my expectations aren’t as high. Anyway i’ll try out the comp with furina and Yaoyao instead of baizhu and hopefully it works well 😊
I hate that I don’t have nahida and baizhu. I still make him work with dendro mc, fischl, and a sustain character. It helps that I’ve got him c2, I don’t have many pulls left after arlechinno but I’m gonna be using them on baizhu so I can run fischl, furina, and baizhu with my Cyno
Yeah he’s another “want” character, which you’ll only pull if you like his character, which is the case for me😂 I liked the team sections since i get to see the pros and cons of using him in a specific team.
What are your thoughts on Cyno with Furina, Sucrose, & Barbara? Cyno is strong with Furina, Sucrose adds grouping and EM nonsense, and Barbara is a full heal for Furina, a heal for Cyno while his burst is up, and extra HP for Furina's DPS. I don't own Kazuha or Kokomi, and figured this comp seemed pretty solid.
I like Ayato's character and design better, but i have very little need for him now that I have Neuvillette. I guess I can feel good about taking some shots on the Cyno banner for Kuki.
@qwertysysysyysysysyzz that's just false, give him his proper supports(Nahida, Furina and Baizhu) and he'll kill everything in-terms of vertical investment Cyno is one of the best characters , don't use the excuse of "not f2p friendly" when f2p players can afford Hu Tao double Hydro(HuTao-Furina-Yelan-Jean) alongside her cons and weapon
@@qwertysysysyysysysyzz Cyno-DMC-Yaoyao/Kirara-Fischl Do your own research first, also her vertical investment value isn't that high compared to him, u can use the f2p argument but u can't deny his vertical investment value You have to remember the primo value of a C6 4⭐ character is equal to a C0 5⭐ character so keep this in mind when you're comparing team comps
@@DamslettesSIMP that's a shitty team lmao have u used it yourself?? Because i sure have and its so trash lmfao nice try but maybe do research yourself
I swear, I do all I can, but he doesn't engage damage and never has energy for the second run. Alhaitham, on the other hand, I can just hit the keyboard with my head, and the abyss chamber is clear
My main team is Tighnari, Cyno, Nahida, and Furina, and I really like playing it. Sometimes if I want to do a Cyno rotation, I replace Nari with Zhongli since I don’t have baizhu, but I think Zhongli is more useful to my Cyno than Baizhu. Also, in the overworld I don’t use Cynos burst as much as I want to because with Nahida, Cyno kills enemies really quickly and I feel like I’m wasting his burst when I use it. Which is a shame since I love using Cynos burst because he is really fun to play in my opinion.
I got Cyno accidentaly on his first banner, but at that time only traveler could provide him a good Dendro application, i still love his gameplay tho. Not a long ago i got him C2 and Signature, he absolutely destroys Hydro Tulpa in Abyss with almost no help! I am going for Nahida firstly for him( and secondly for Tighnari and Yae). Now his teams has more flexibility, you can use Yao Yao or Kirara as a 4* supports, Furina or Yelan\Xingqiu for hyperbloom and so on. Of course he may be more expensive and he really want Nahida for comfortable gameplay but it's always player decision to pull or not.
I love Cyno, even before Furin, his best team was Xinchou, Baizhu, Nahida, and the team is extremely good. Now I have Cyno C2 already, and his weapon. But perhaps I'll pull for C3-4
Amazing guide! If possible, would you be able to do a similar guide on Ayato? I'm torn between pulling for him or Cyno...I like them both equally and am trying to decide which one to pull for !
yup very good quicken team just remember that your DPS will drop a bit after 10-12 seconds since oz will despawn at that point while cyno can keep bursting for 18 sec LOL but yea its one of the best teams he can get
I invested in Cyno never used him. Pulled him and his weapon got them to lvl 90. Never regretted it. But I am not pulling for Furina. She is just too annoying.
Do you think Raiden is a good dps even at c0 ? I know her rerun is upon us so im thinking about an electro dps like cyno or raiden but i keep hearing about her need for c2.
They require the same investment anyone that tells you raiden is better is misinformed, they both kind of rely on their c2 and weapon for big dps spikes and do about the same dmg at c0 but Raiden is more flexible which makes her a better pull for some people. Cynos new best team with Furina was found to out dps Raidens best team he just requires investment like jello said.
Raiden is a solid DPS (and also substantially better in parties where she isn't a main-dps where as Cyno has zero spot in a party where he isn't the Carry). Even without her C2 (which is just a giant damage buff during her burst and literally nothing else), Raiden can still drive on-field during her burst while providing powerful support benefits even while swapped to other characters, and is much easier to work around than Cyno as she requires very little field time to get the most out of the burst's benefits (she only needs 5 seconds of field time to maximize the energy refund). Given that they're roughly the same in Carry capacity at similar investment, I do think Raiden is overall stronger and much more valuable as a character, if you having to choose between them.
@@luckylazaros9653nukes aren’t everything he still does more dmg per rotation y’all have terrible brain rot from seeing big ss numbers, when a sustained dps is usually better for most content(Neuvi for example the most broken character has no nuke in his kit)One big hit doesnt=better dmg just more frontload
My team for Cyno C0R1 is Hyperbloom Team Cyno = 4pc Gladiator, DPS Nahida = 4pc Deepwood, Xingqiu = 4pc Instructor and Kuki = 4pc Gilded. I dont mind the ER problem of Cyno cuz the hyperbloom and spread from Nahida E and Kuki is way too massive that I dont even to use Cyno's burst.
I started playing genshin when cyno came out. And he's the reason why i stayed. I got him on a single pull and kept playing genshin cause i want to level 90 him. Then, tried getting nahida for him. Took me 170 pulls to get nahida. Hahaha
The Kuki Team works really well with Xingqiu beacause his resistance to interruption and that of cyno is so great that you don't need a shield. And Xingqiu heals, wich is important because Kuki's healing is weak.
Dang I have two accounts, and I have Furina and Cyno but not on the same account! Don't have Baizhu or Nahida at all either. I've pulled for Nahida before, and I'll probably do it again, but Baizhu just doesn't appeal to me whatsoever. Oh and it's good to see White Tassel is his best f2p weapon, that's what he's been using for a while now. I like how the titular white tassel on it matches his hair...
so interesting question u said the ER sands was to much er for him with that being said it is easier to not having to use a secondary electro unit, current team i have since i dont have furina is cyno, fischl, kazuha, and biazhu.. was wondering with the ER sands i could swap out fischl for Xinqiu
There is something NO RUclipsR does that would be awesome. Show how to config the character in genshin optimizer. Thats even more relevant for a character like Cyno, because we need to use the multitarget option to get a good build. I will start to ask that for ccs.
Actually Alhaitham can use Kuki and Baizhu at the same time. The thing is, with Alhaitham between Nahida and Furina you have to pretty much decide between one or the other. You either want Furina's buff or Nahida's. Also, if you're in multiple wave content, Nahida will be better as she has much better AOE. In single target, Alhaitham can prefer sticking to Furina, Baizhu and even Kuki or Raiden to trigger hyperblooms. If you want a pure Spread team, Triple dendro Alhaitham with Baizhu, Nahida and Raiden, Fischl or Yae as the electro is super viable.
Just use yelan and nahida instead of baizhu furina people act like furina is the bomb when yelan gives identical buffs and better hydro application and particle generation lmao
I have Furina, Cyno, and Nahida but I wasn’t able to get Baizhu so I really don’t know what to do with him. I didn’t really want Cyno since I was planning to save for Yoimiya and I wasn’t guaranteed but I’m trying my best to use him anyway. I hope Baizhu is rerun soon though since I really need him with Furina
i wish i’d managed to pull baizhu first. he’s not great by himself or in other comps but i tried him out with furina, they were invincible! now pair those two with raiden or cyno? oof.
ı have C3 Cyno and ı have enough wish to make C6 but C6 is good enough ?? is it worth it or not ? ı love her playstyle but dmg is not good enough right now
I do think some people have a point that I may have been a little unclear with my power judgement of him.
But anyone who says he’s weak, or Way below those teams I don’t think is being honest either.
one underrated advantage cyno has over alhaitham is consolidating both the quicken and hyperbloom driver into 1 unit, which lets him take full advantage of furina by running baizhu alongside nahida
since alhaitham is dendro, he only has room for 1 other dendro on the team. you're not able to comfortably slot in baizhu without dropping nahida, which only leaves you with kuki for generating furina stacks
if we ever get a teamwide electro healer that can also trigger hyperblooms off-field this will change, but right now alhaitham furina teams feel incomplete

As a cyno player who pulled him on his first banner i'd like to warn all that you *REALLY* do not want to skip ER on him, all of his damage comes exclusively from his 80 energy burst and if you dont have it perfectly recharged by the end of the rotation you will wish you had pulled a different character
His ER is extremely important and i'd seriously advise getting a solid 140% ER before focusing on his damage
Another thing of note is that if you use DMC instead of nahida your ER problems are bigger
Not only because he generates less particles overall but also because his dendro app is slower and this means less consistent thundering fury skill recharges (i still lack nahida so the 140% ER is based off DMC energy generation, with nahida you will need less)
You don't Really need 140% if you have Fischl ( She can Battery Cyno, Especially with Fav Bow even on C0)
Now DMC's ER will be pain (Pretty sure everyone can C6 him), Running with Sac Sword will be great since he can get more energy
For Last slot
For Hydro XQ will be his best option cuz he could focus more on ER making it possible to run him without Sac Sword
Or
Any strong Shielder or can provide Healing,DR, or IR
ahh cyno, my first 5 star that i got from my first 10 pull on the game. benched him for a long time, but now is my strongest boss killer.
Beidou is underrated with Cyno for mobbing content. She gives:
Interruption resistance
Damage Reduction
AoE coverage
Extra Shield for bonus survivability
100% Hyperbloom Ownership to Cyno
15% Electro Shred at C6
The ER cost is not really that much of a problem with Electro Resonance & Favge.
The thing is his team is strict, there's not much room for flexibility, Beidou could replace Nahida but then he loses a lot of bloom dmg, replace Furina then it's an aggravate team, works but not the best team for him, can't replace Baizhu though. Hard disagree on "Enguffing Lighting not good on him because he doesn't want the ER"
Cyno is very energy hungry
Engulfing not only help his energy problems, it's also reward him for doing so by converting ER to Atk buff
What is ur build? If kuki is giving more dmg on hyperbloom I think ur cyno is low on em...
OK I got the picture, next I will aim to get baizu and cyno
@@teenagesilver6512 you just suck at playing then lmao cyno doesnt even come close to Raiden hyperbloom
If you use thundering furry, he won't have er issues, why? Because he does like 12 elemental skills plus with TF. Each one generating 1 or 2 particles.

Cyno is one of the most f2p unfriendly characters and he is nearly unplayable without both Baizhu and Nahida, he also excels at no roles without his BiS team and R1. Hyperbloom? Kuki double hydro is better. Quickbloom? Alhaitam is better. Hypercarrier setup? Raiden is better. Aggravate? Keqing/Yae are better. Electro-charged? Fischl/Yae are better. Overload? Raiden will be busted with the next c6 4*

Did you try him without the weapon because I'm also considering getting it too
I had for sometime but once the weapon was put on, I haven’t taken it off
I'm a proud cyno main since release and I can assure you if you have baizhu and furina that shit is incredible, evrything dies instantly. (though bhaizhu and xinqui or yelan are also very good options if you don't have furina)

People talk about Furina/Baizhu/Dendro MC but I've only ever really seen it be successful when the other 3 units have enough investment the 4th could be anyone and it would work. I just about laughed when I saw a promising Baizhu/Xingqiu/Thoma team in your video... only for you to dash my dreams by saying it should be Nahida, lmao.
You can use yao yao no? Or Get nahida before or after u get him.
To be honest, nahida is the best character in the game by a mile, she's almost required for any dendro team to be fully utilized
@@putent9623you can but dendro MC is better but if you have Nahida she will be better
Cyno having a top tier team is great, but that also just adds more to one of his problems that I dread which is it feels bad to play in overworld. With Nahida, Furina, Baizhu, you might as well be playing 3 characters in the overworld cause enemies die before he even comes up.
Why would you care abt playing a top tier team in overworld?
All I do in overworld is just use Baizhu only then Cynos burst because Furina and nahida are overkill against easier enemies. Just make sure you give them more er in overworld situations
The title is a little over exaggerated 😂
Nah he really did have a transformation Furina and Baizhu made him cracked💀
I managed to pull c0 Baizhu, Furina, and now Cyno today, but they're not very well built yet. No Nahida though. I've got Cyno on moonpiercer, but since every time I look up what's good for him everyone says something different, so moonpiercer he stays for now. Either way, good damage or not, I'm just happy to have him. I'm one step closer to collecting the Sumeru boys now!
I assure you anyone who summoned for him did not or does not regret it.
I regret it. He takes up a lot of resources and has very strict team comps. You can do so much more with other characters.
@@bskilla4892he does a lot of damage if you invest enough into him my cyno is currently at C2 with my dendro MC kuki and Furina. My full rotation can do more than half a million dmg
Finally some love for the General of Sands ❤
From the damage calcs I've done and seen gilded dreams only slightly edges out thundering fury in terms of rotational damage by about 2% with medium investment. . However once you consider Soss and put him in hyperbloom teams, both of which benefit from having high base em the difference becomes much bigger as jello basically said.
Thundering fury allows for no er% builds making it better tho, also bring able to spam skill more
If you use Hyperbloom, you can use him with Furina and run the Marechesesuruserss Hunter set
@@qwertysysysyysysysyzzi personally had Cyno since his 1st rerun... Used him both with TF and Gilded sets...
I would say TF is better if you don't have his signature weapon...
But if you have Staff of Scarlett Sands... Gilded Dreams definitely better... Because of his EM scaling and how the weapon gives bonus attack based on EM...
And in aggravate/Hyperbloom teams/taser teams... More EM is generally better...
And if you run Cyno with electro resonance... You can get away with 120% er for his energy requirements...
I never face energy problems when playing Cyno
@@mpr12 yeah but that 20% er could have been em instead 20% er is equal to 80 EM , you also are able to run double dendro by then which is another 100 EM , along with 4pc tf which increases electro based reaction by about 80 EM,
@@qwertysysysyysysysyzz as I said... I already tried Cyno with both sets since long... And what I said is general case scenario... At the end of day... It's upto you... And which artifacts have better substats lol... Both sets just work fine on him... And one is better than other in different scenarios so yeah
Ye tf is more damage and energy
Cyno seems to only be good if his team is full of limited 5 stars
Yeah and even then he loses to f2p alhaitham or hu tao team comp that only require 1 or 2 5 star including the carry themself
Great points! I do talk about all that in my vs others section. Definitely don’t disagree. I even call him very low value

In short, use his skill, whenever you get your Skill back, in Thundering Fury; with his Quickbloom Teams. 👍
I can even squeeze in 2E before the Eye skill if I have good ping 😂, so at the start it's like E-Q-E-E-E (Eye skill), then you have to slow down the 2nd round or you'll miss the eye, the 3rd round could be the same with 2Es. Kinda hard to follow through so basically I also just spam his E off cd😂

10:00 I think that Kitain Cross Spear is his best Weapon after his SIG; because it gives very HIGH ER%, which’s what needed to Cyno; because his best teams are without a secend Electro character, which will increase his neediness to ER%, such as teams as: Cyno Chaos, Cyno Quickbloom with Furina. Also for: Cyno, Yelan, Zhongli, and Nahida.
He doesn't need THAT much ER
Just put an electro battery with him like fischl white tassel is better than any F2P weapon since his ult is NA but infused with electro and gives good crit rate

Do you think Raiden is a good dps even at c0 ? I know her rerun is upon us so im thinking about an electro dps like cyno or raiden but i keep hearing about her need for c2.
Yeah she is great in national team and hyperbloom proc
@@Marz333Raiden is more valuable and she has a nuke (even at C0) unlike Cyno.

My team for Cyno C0R1 is Hyperbloom Team
Cyno = 4pc Gladiator, DPS Nahida = 4pc Deepwood, Xingqiu = 4pc Instructor and Kuki = 4pc Gilded. I dont mind the ER problem of Cyno cuz the hyperbloom and spread from Nahida E and Kuki is way too massive that I dont even to use Cyno's burst.
I'll probably use 1 anemo character on my Cyno team. So it's Cyno, Nahida, Furina, Jean/Sayu. I feel like the anemo shred helps
4:46 I think you can replace Fischl with Beidou in Quicken (or even in Quickbloom instead of second Dendro if you're feeling confident)
Dang I have two accounts, and I have Furina and Cyno but not on the same account! Don't have Baizhu or Nahida at all either. I've pulled for Nahida before, and I'll probably do it again, but Baizhu just doesn't appeal to me whatsoever.

Thats even more relevant for a character like Cyno, because we need to use the multitarget option to get a good build.
I will start to ask that for ccs.
I dont got furina yet and even if i get her shes going to my xiao so should i just put yelan in her place?
If you know tell me because if it is yes this will help me alot
