Nice list, Stripey all good choices. My choice is to see Beerdy come up with actual footage of all the claims he makes about Bruce. Now thats a Christmas miracle.
Stripey, this lee siu Leung character is a wanted man. He continues to use my photo as his profile, he’s sick and obsessed with me. He better pray hard that I never find out his identity because it’s going to be a very bad day for him.
Hi Stripey, here’s my 5 (impossible) Bruce Lee related things I would love for Xmas 5: The actual yellow tracksuit from Game of Death 4: Game of Death finished exactly as Bruce (would have if indeed he did ever) intended it 3: Enter the Dragon extended (Bruce Lee cut) version with more of Bruce’s philosophy 2: To sit and enjoy a meal with the great man himself 1: And the most obvious , That he didn’t die on that fateful day, and he went in to enjoy a full life and made numerous more movies for all us fans to have enjoyed Merry Christmas to all the Stripey Bruce Lee community and to Stripey himself thank you for taking the trouble to do these great videos 👍
Hi, there is on dvd together > "Ironside" episode "Tagged For Murder" and "Here come the Brides" both in colour and good quality featuring Bruce Lee. The vinyl soundtracks were available in the 70's ..I know because I have them, but they are all Imports from Japan. The Big Boss / Fist of Fury / Way of the Dragon as an album is printed "The Way of Life" but has that movie soundtrack throughout / Game of Death ...and other albums "Dragon Sounds Special" & "My Way of Kung Fu" all by "Tam Records", and with the usual sash one gets on such imports. I was so lucky to get them in a market in the 70's all at once. I just grabbed every one that was there. The album Enter the Dragon I'm sure we all have, but it was re-released with a load of extra tracks on cd, including all the music missing from the vinyl version. The Big Boss also has the original movie poster in I presume Cantonese ? Strangely, The Way of the Dragon has the poster for "Fist of Fury" also in Cantonese. The others don't have posters but a sheet with track listing ... some not in English. Inner albums contain music and even the audio of some fight scenes. Fist of Fury is particularly good with Robert Baker as Bruce's Leopard growls are loud and clear. Theme songs included on all including "Will This Be The Song I'll Be Singing Tomorrow".I've kept them all in mint condition. I'm in my late 60's now and have most of the original Kung Fu Monthly mags and I joined the fan club so I have a number of the solid metal Ying Yang badges still. Maybe with the high interest of the Golden Harvest box sets there will be some response in digging out anything else on film of Bruce Lee ? I hope I live long enough to see what else they find and release, however the lost Game of Death footage already had me saying I can now die a happy man. Lol
A great Bruce Lee Wish List Stripey Congratulations! Among my wants would be the "BLondie" episode, much more 1972 "The Game Of Death" never before seen footage,"The Orphan","The Green Hornet" TV Series in a proper LEGAL release, the Henry Wong footage from "The Game Of Death"(1972),and from "Enter The Dragon",and even though I have the OFFICIAL release of "Longstreet" on DVD,a new Blu-ray release of it with many bonus features would be PERFECT,"Enjoy Yourself Tonight" Bruce Lee appearances, the still missing scenes from "The Big Boss",unused footage and behind-the-scenes-footage from Bruce Lee's other major finished martial arts movies, and any other SUPER -RARE Bruce Lee unseen goodies!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video as always Stripey and some good choices. Difficult to narrow down to 5 but here goes 1. well for me first has got to be any of the nunchucks he actually used in any of the films. Just to hold a pair he had used would be great. 2. His kung fu suit (sure the chinese call it something else) from Fist of Fury 3. The complete film of the longbeach tournement and with sound would be great 4. All the outtakes and behind the scenes of way of the dragon in a documentry on the making of it 5. The john Saxon Bamboo and dragons Doc
Cheers, mate. You know, I would love to handle Bruce Lee's nunchaku (that would be wild) There's plenty of gems still out there 🤞 One day maybe. Thanks Pal 👍
Thank you, Stripey! I feel like being subscribed to your channel provides me with such a fabulous resource of everything Bruce Lee that I want to keep tabs on and research. That being said, has anyone ever thought of digging up the sound session recordings where Bruce would dub in his battle cries? Imagine the laughter or banter that could potentially have taken place with retakes until he got that screaming just right. Thank you again for all that you do!
Thank you, mate. I appreciate it. Digging up the war cries would be amazing. I think there a chance (a small one) that Lalo Schifrin, could possibly have some in his archives. Cheers again 👍
Hi Stripey 😊 what a great wish list you have, I really hope that someone was listening to you. I also hope that one day you will have your list come true, then I know we would all get to see it. Finally I just received Christmas present to myself 😮 Shannon Lee's book on her dad, In my own process can't wait to open and read it on Christmas day. God bless ya Stripey have a great Xmas and a wonderful New Year. Michael 😊
My Holy Grail would be the Enjoy Yourself Tonight videos. I'd so love to see that, but I bet those tapes don't exist anymore. I remember seeing the Blondie episode when I was a kid. That is one of the few things that actually does exist, but it's in a vault somewhere, and doesn't seem like anyone has a bootleg copy. My memory of it is that it is similar to the Ironside part, but played up for comedy. I've got some good bootleg DVD copies of the Longstreet episodes that are good quality. Those have been around for a while. I have a copy of Marlowe recorded off of Turner Classic Movies.
There should also be more photographs and possibly footage of Bruce Lee choreographing the wrecking crew movie fight scenes with Nancy Kwan and Sharon Tate. If not rehearsal footage, there should be more photographs.
A real Xmas stocking full there Stripey. My list of 5 would be 1/The Green Hornet box set 2/ Henry Wong Footage 3/ The way of the dragon redux 4/ Enjoy yourself tonight 5/ Marlowe. But on the other hand....lol
Hiya Stripey. Great to have you back. I got 3 questions for you. 1. What's your favourite part of Bruce Lee's life and why? 2. Have you seen all of Bruce's childhood films? 3. On one of the Bruce Lee Documentary's, I'm sure I recall it mentioning about Bruce Lee having brilliant peripheral vision and that he could see or sense a attack coming before it was even thrown. Also that he'd trained his peripheral vision for years e.g standing straight and looking at an object straight in front but then looking left and right out of his peripheral vision. It reminds me of the scene in Fist Of Fury when he's fighting the Japanese karate men in the dojo and the camera zooms in on Bruce Lee's face but he's looking left and right at the opponents as if using his peripheral vision as he then attacks in different directions of a circle with his Nunchaku's. It's interesting, do you think Bruce Lee had outstanding peripheral vision?
@Luke63Ultra Hi mate My favourite part of Bruce's life is possibly after the success of The Big Boss I've not seen all the childhood movies, but I've seen a few Regarding his vision, we know Bruce had bad eye sight. He was very good with timing, speed, and explosiveness. Cheers, pal 👍
Yeah me too. I love from around 1971-73 the time he was filming (The Big Boss) to (Enter The Dragon) wow 😮 they were the explosive years and Bruce's best in my opinion. Yeah I've not seen any of his childhood movies. A box set on them would be great 😊👍. Wouww😲 I didn't know Bruce had bad eye sight, interesting. Thanks Stripey
I'd love to see Arrow do a follow up to their Bruce Lee At Golden Harvest box set maybe called Bruce Lee: The Early Years! a box set containing all his early movies from The Kid to The Orphan. I've made my own Green Hornet DVD set but would be great to have it officially on blu-ray. I refuse to buy Enter The Dragon again for the umpteenth time unless WB pull their fingers out of their butts and include some new special features (Henry Wong footage, Ahna Capri footage, deleted scenes etc). I'd like to see a release of Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story that includes deleted scenes. The first trailer included quick shots of a couple of deleted footage. One dream I have (if I had the money) is to make a documentary. I know there are already loads of Bruce Lee documentaries out there, even a documentary on Bruceploitation (the recent brilliant Enter The Clones of Bruce). What I would like to do is a documentary on Bruce's fans, what he means to them, their collection of Bruce Lee merchandise, the fan clubs, the conventions (especially the brilliant Rise of The Dragon convention), the martial arts they study (if they study martial arts!), do they incorporate any of Bruce's philosophy in to their every day life? etc. The documentary would be something like the one made in the late 90's all about Star Trek fans called Trekkies.
Some great ideas there, mate. I too am a little sick of WB hashing out the same extras on their ETD releases (I've made videos on this) I like the sound of the "fans" documentary, that would be a lot fun Cheers 👍
How about footage of a 4d scan when Bruce was in the whom so we can check out his kicks from a really early age?! All seriousness though great vid and I would love to see all the footage that you mentioned, behind the scenes and outtakes mainly
I totally ago with u Stripey with your Xmas list especially regarding the Green Hornet TV series being on blu ray. I would love to see this happen early next year. As it would be a sell out for us Bruce Lee fans. Also it would be good to see the Ironside episode where Bruce Lee was a martial arts dojo instructor as i remember seeing the series & episode on the Brovo tv channel in the mid 90s. Anyway keep the great videos rolling Stripey 🥋😎👍
There is bruce the martial arist, first n foremost. n then famously there is also bruce lee the actor. A bit less spoken abt is bruce lee the philosopher. As I understand, philosophy was part of Bruce's study when he attended university. Wd really love to see a comprehensive collection of all his philosophies.... including those in chinese translated accordingly (as myself, im sure like many other fans do not speak chinese) ... all compiled nicely into a book or article or you tube video, or some sort of documentary focusing on his philosophies n thoughts. That wd b wonderful. Merry christmas 🌲🌲🌲
Great list Stripey and great video too😊✌️ The two that I would love to see/own on Blu-ray is The Orphan ( I have a book of the translated script) and The Brilliant Life of Bruce Lee, then of course everything else you listed! Wouldn't it be great if all this could be achieved, we can but live in hope ( big sigh). Anyway, have a great week ☺️ ✌️
Great wish list that Stripey. Top of my list is 'The Orphan' We need to get a screening sorted here in the UK. That cover for that 'new' version of the making of 'Enter The Dragon' looks awful. Couldn't make my mind up it if was a legit release or not. If anyone buys it please let me know what the quality of the pictures in the book are like. We need a 'deluxe' version of Clouse book.
Thanks bud. I really want to see The Orphan. A UK screening would be amazing (I'd buy a ticket) I too thought the cover to The Making of ETD looked a little naff. I was lucky enough to have a copy given to me (original copy) Cheers Pal 👍
I'd love to see the likes of the Henry Wong, Capri & Saxon footage on an Ultimate Edition of Enter the Dragon. We've had the same old extras rehashed and re-released for years. Id also love to see an updated/upgraded version of the Warrior's Journey documentary on Blu Ray/4k, I'd really love to see the footage that was recreated using look a likes (i use that term loosely) replaced with AI or deepfake so we could see Bruce's original vision told better. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you & the family, thank you for all the amazing content! Mark
Cheers, Mate, It would be great if WB did a special on ETD with new extras (one day maybe) A Warriors Journey would be great in HD (it's one of my favs) Merry Christmas to you too, mate, and thank you for your continued support 👍
I had read and heard long ago somewhere that they had produced a local Seattle, Washington TV station program featuring Bruce Lee bringing in guests like his Gung Fu students, other martial arts teachers, etc.,this was filmed using either professional broadcast video tape,or in a film format such as 16mm.Does anyone have any leads on this SUPER -RARE TV show episodes footage?!......?? This must have been made during the years 1959 to 1965.
Great video Stripey. Cant argue with anything on the list but that Henry Wong and Ahna Capri footage would be amazing to see for me. Thanks Stripey👍🏻👍🏻 Top 5: 1. Henry Wong Footage 2. Ahna Capri Footage. 3. John Saxon footage 4. Enjoy Yourself Tonight interviews. 5. Fist Of Fury trailer with Bob Baker
Hey Stripey I would bet that someone who worked for Warner Brothers back in the 70's snuck out the Henry Wong footage and took it home with them. I would be surprised if it was still sitting on a shelf at Warner Brothers studios. I mean we're talking Super rare never before seen Bruce Lee footage!!!💯Just a hunch mate.🤔
Good list Stripey! But I'm a bit surprised anyone would want The Legend of Bruce Lee on Blu-ray! Have you watched the whole series? I don't know anyone that's been able to sit through the show until the end!
Watched it through twice on Netflix 🤣 I guess the draw of Danny Chan portraying Bruce gives the closest insight we can see to his early life, as if we were watching Bruce himself. Just my opinion though. Wasn't keen on the whole thing being in Mandarin when western people are talking!
My 5 Bruce Lee Christmas Presents would be 1. The Green Hornet Blu-Ray/4K Ultra DVD 2. Longstreet Blu-Ray/4K Ultra DVD 3. Marlowe Blu-Ray/4K Ultra DVD 4. All Bruce Lee's Childhood Films In A DVD boxset 5. A DVD set of all the rare Bruce Lee Footage that's either been released on RUclips or never been released.
Hi Stripey, Since you was mentioning about the films of Bruce Lee from his early ones to the TV documentary called The Legend of Bruce Lee with Danny Chan who I think is the most closest to resemble Bruce Lee, I bought this movie from E.bay and it's in Mandarin I really enjoyed it but did you know you can see it on RUclips and it's in English, so I thought there might be a English version which I would love to have, I thought I'd let you know, keep up the great work bro.
I hope they re-cut the Bruce Lee major martial arts movies with still missing deleted scenes, and crystal -clear up the existing scenes with AI technology. Also please release ALL of Bruce Lee's pre-martial arts Hong Kong movies here in the USA in a LEGAL release please!!!!!!!
Hi Stripey, Great Video👍, would agree with all your suggestions. With AI, used the right way, I would love to see G.O.D remade, all the lost footage, cleaned up, keep the soundtrack, different story line and actors, with Great care, I do believe they could create something special...Also agree with W.O.T.D, Clean it up and again I do believe you could have that wow factor for all the fans out there. I think we have to embrace the technology as long as its not exploited ( Star Wars editions churned out every year ) and keep this Legacy Alive for the next Generation. When I show younger people the Bruce Lee Movies and I tend to use W.O.T.D fight scene with Chuck Norris as an example, the first thing they say is, it's not very good quality is it? What's with the cardboard cut out of the Colosseum?, but amazed at the fighting scene's and question, why do we not see fights choreographed like this now? Maybe I'm thinking away of myself but I do believe we should challenge ourselves of creating something special from bygone movies that could be brought to life and kept alive for new fans to have the same feelings we had when these movies first came into our lives. To show what can be done, watch this young lad from Norway on RUclips create a scene from Star Wars for $100, inspiring, creative and forward thinking..ruclips.net/video/oSOQpnWlYU4/видео.html....Appreciate your videos Stripey👍
Hi stripey the game of death footage was given to Dan inosanto by Robert Lee a few years ago some of it in colour of bruce coaxing dan through his scenes all the best .
Apparently the footage of game of death behind the scenes was filmed by Bruce's brother Robert Lee he was there when bruce was filming and Robert Lee gave the footage to Dan inosanto some years ago and told Dan not to show anyone all the best .
Hello Stripey. I hope you are doing well. I have watched the last three episodes and my name is not on the Patreon list at the end of the show. I am guessing this is an over site.
@jasondugdale459 Hey, mate. I apologise. I will check the credits and make the amendment. I appreciate your support mate, and I'll fix this. Again sorry 🙏
do you ever get into the old chestnut how good was bruce lee against pro fighters in a real fight ?? i think most boxers would have caught him with punches and put him to kip
I guess we'll never know for sure. Bruce trained for s real fighting with no rules (finger jabs to eyes, kicking to the groin etc). Boxers are constrined to rules, but like I said, we'll never know, but I believe Brice was very good. Cheers 👍
I bought Making of enter the dragon way back in the 90's and had to go back to the shop to get a replacement as the spine kept coming loose. Any replacements they gave me had the same issue so i just gave up and stuck with it. Always wondered if that was an general issue? Interesting book though btw. Glad there wasn't a making of game of death - would've had to have been titled The Dismantling of Game of Death. Best wishes and thanks Stripey!
The game of death press shoot was filmed with an early video camera , its like the camera he used for his back yard footage there clearly V hold issues and tracking on the old tape .. the early demo footage that was apparently secretly filmed by a spy camera was taken from a editing room viewer and filmed using cine film .. that footage of brandon and bruce will show up in much better quality , but its all about money . The Winston Advert : I heard bruce wasn't in that advert and he had just loaned his weights to bolo and they used the game of death set for it . I think press footage or news footage will be out there and private footage from cine camera , as people pass on it gets found and released like the Jhoon Rhee tournament footage and when archives digitise their vaults , we live in hope that we all see this stuff in the future but it boils down to one thing a lot of the time and that's money .
I do think that with AI there will be a lot of misleading footage appearing claiming to be original. Some I have seen is really impressive, even with a voice that sounds uncannily like Bruce. The older generation will probably know what is real but the younger generation could easily be misled. AI is in its infancy so imagine a few years down the line when you cannot differentiate between real and fake.
The Way of the Dragon out takes exist. Michael Worth says he's seen them a long with the Winston cigarette commercial and i personally believe him 100%. He knows his stuff. ruclips.net/video/FnNO_n_AqFE/видео.htmlsi=Br0lmS6yRddMfyzT Also theres footage exists of Bruce at Kai Tak airport doing a press conference after coming back from Thailand from filming The Big Boss. David Tadman said he was shown a few minutes of that when he was making his Tale of the Dragon documentary but the person who owned it was wanting silly money for it to be used in the documentary.
i heard bruce wasnt in that advert and he had just loaned his weights to bolo and they used the game of death set for it . Robert lee showed his vhs tape of his various angles of the chuck Norris fight but apparently no longer has it , the HKTVB footage isnt kept by the tv company because of space and could be lost unless its found in another vault . The Kai Tak Airport footage sounds promising though and i often wonder if there's more news footage and promo stuff lurking about :) - we live in hope that one day we get more stuff and nothing surprises me , lets hope we do get even more stuff showing up because there must be more ..
Nice list, Stripey all good choices. My choice is to see Beerdy come up with actual footage of all the claims he makes about Bruce. Now thats a Christmas miracle.

Pretty much my exact Bruce Lee wishlist. I have the Longstreet DVDs, but Justice will be done putting it on Blu-ray.
Even if just one from this whish list happened in 2025 that would be amazing. More likely is a collaboration between Stripey and Beerdy.

Would love alot of this to come out specially the saw in the head scene
8:05 for Bruce Lee's emote

Wouldn't it be great if all this could be achieved, we can but live in hope ( big sigh).
Anyway, have a great week ☺️ ✌️
Thanks Elaine. There is more Bruce out there, but, those two you mentioned would be amazing on Blu-Ray.
Cheers again 👍
Great wish list that Stripey. Top of my list is 'The Orphan' We need to get a screening sorted here in the UK. That cover for that 'new' version of the making of 'Enter The Dragon' looks awful. Couldn't make my mind up it if was a legit release or not. If anyone buys it please let me know what the quality of the pictures in the book are like. We need a 'deluxe' version of Clouse book.
Thanks bud. I really want to see The Orphan. A UK screening would be amazing (I'd buy a ticket)
I too thought the cover to The Making of ETD looked a little naff. I was lucky enough to have a copy given to me (original copy)
Cheers Pal 👍
the Norris fight was also filmed from above , the complete thing .
@@MICHAEL-s9w2d wow, I didn't know this. Now that would be very cool 👍
Mark
Cheers, Mate,
It would be great if WB did a special on ETD with new extras (one day maybe)
A Warriors Journey would be great in HD (it's one of my favs)
Merry Christmas to you too, mate, and thank you for your continued support 👍
I had read and heard long ago somewhere that they had produced a local Seattle, Washington TV station program featuring Bruce Lee bringing in guests like his Gung Fu students, other martial arts teachers, etc.,this was filmed using either professional broadcast video tape,or in a film format such as 16mm.Does anyone have any leads on this SUPER -RARE TV show episodes footage?!......?? This must have been made during the years 1959 to 1965.
Great video Stripey. Cant argue with anything on the list but that Henry Wong and Ahna Capri footage would be amazing to see for me. Thanks Stripey👍🏻👍🏻
Top 5:
1. Henry Wong Footage
2. Ahna Capri Footage.
3. John Saxon footage
4. Enjoy Yourself Tonight interviews.
5. Fist Of Fury trailer with Bob Baker
Thanks Pal. It's amazing to think that there is more Bruce footage out there.
Cheers 👍
Hey Stripey I would bet that someone who worked for Warner Brothers back in the 70's snuck out the Henry Wong footage and took it home with them. I would be surprised if it was still sitting on a shelf at Warner Brothers studios. I mean we're talking Super rare never before seen Bruce Lee footage!!!💯Just a hunch mate.🤔
Good list Stripey! But I'm a bit surprised anyone would want The Legend of Bruce Lee on Blu-ray! Have you watched the whole series? I don't know anyone that's been able to sit through the show until the end!
Watched it through twice on Netflix 🤣
I guess the draw of Danny Chan portraying Bruce gives the closest insight we can see to his early life, as if we were watching Bruce himself. Just my opinion though. Wasn't keen on the whole thing being in Mandarin when western people are talking!
My 5 Bruce Lee Christmas Presents would be
1. The Green Hornet Blu-Ray/4K Ultra DVD
2. Longstreet Blu-Ray/4K Ultra DVD
3. Marlowe Blu-Ray/4K Ultra DVD
4. All Bruce Lee's Childhood Films In A DVD boxset
5. A DVD set of all the rare Bruce Lee Footage that's either been released on RUclips or never been released.
would especially like to see his early films restored and in a hi res boxset maybe with a documentary or decent commentary :)
Where do I find the Japan garage ceramic figures that you have?
My thoughts exactly regards using AI on G.O.D.
I want to see an AI produced film of Bruce kicking Tarantino’s ass and getting him to finally shut the eff up!
No worries. Thank you. Stay lucky. Have a good Christmas. Mate.
Excellent wish list mate would like to see all of what you mentioned would be very cool I can't pick a top 5 .all the best mate .cheers Pete
Thanks bud. I kinda guessed you like them all 😉
Thanks Pal, enjoy the rest of the week 👍
do you ever get into the old chestnut how good was bruce lee against pro fighters in a real fight ?? i think most boxers would have caught him with punches and put him to kip
Put John Little’s book “Wrath of the Dragon” on your Christmas list and all will be answered.😊
I guess we'll never know for sure. Bruce trained for s real fighting with no rules (finger jabs to eyes, kicking to the groin etc). Boxers are constrined to rules, but like I said, we'll never know, but I believe Brice was very good. Cheers 👍
Wow you don’t collect vinyl records anymore?
Are you getting the 4k of dragon the Bruce lee story its only a usa release.
I can see Arrow video picking this up and producing a UK edition 🙏
I will be, mate 👍
@@MattVs_Movies That would be cool 👍
The green hornet is number 1 the rest will be great but the hornet come on arrow call Disney
I loved see them all .more bruce the better.original the better .not keen on ai .bruce has gone .there anouth footage out there they should release .
Nice episode and thanks for the shout out! Appreciate you buddy! Have a great Holiday and ad great weekend!
Thanks, bud. You're very welcome. Keep up the great work.
Merry Christmas 🎅
I bought Making of enter the dragon way back in the 90's and had to go back to the shop to get a replacement as the spine kept coming loose. Any replacements they gave me had the same issue so i just gave up and stuck with it. Always wondered if that was an general issue? Interesting book though btw.
Glad there wasn't a making of game of death - would've had to have been titled The Dismantling of Game of Death.
Best wishes and thanks Stripey!
I've always wanted to see footage of Bruce being challenged by an extra on the set of Enter the Dragon, but I don't think the incident was filmed.
I'd be curious to know what you think of Joe Lewis' statements about Bruce?

Also theres footage exists of Bruce at Kai Tak airport doing a press conference after coming back from Thailand from filming The Big Boss.
The Kai Tak Airport footage sounds promising though and i often wonder if there's more news footage and promo stuff lurking about :)
- we live in hope that one day we get more stuff and nothing surprises me , lets hope we do get even more stuff showing up because there must be more ..
