I wasn't around for the prime era of halo, however, my first memories after the wii were of borrowing an xbox and playing Halo CE, then we got a 360 and I played lots of Halo 3 and 4, with Halo 3 solidifying the series as the best games ever in my mind. once we got an xbox one I played Halo 5 for a while, but when the disk for that stopped working, we got the Master Chief Collection (thankfully after its crappy era) and Halo 2 tied itself with Halo 3 as the best Halo game.
