I remember when I first heard this in Halo 2... Walking into that room and seeing the Brutes and Elites fighting each other. Of course this wasn't the first time, but it was the largest battle between the two I'd seen yet, and it was at this point that I really saw just how AWESOME the game was; Two species, honor bound on both sides, fighting tooth and nail to the death. You step into that room and witness it firsthand... And then this starts playing.

I wasn't around for the prime era of halo, however, my first memories after the wii were of borrowing an xbox and playing Halo CE, then we got a 360 and I played lots of Halo 3 and 4, with Halo 3 solidifying the series as the best games ever in my mind. once we got an xbox one I played Halo 5 for a while, but when the disk for that stopped working, we got the Master Chief Collection (thankfully after its crappy era) and Halo 2 tied itself with Halo 3 as the best Halo game.
