You don't have to be proud of every brick in a house, but it certainly feels satisfying once you finish a wall. Love your work and dedication!

This video probably matters sooner than you think. I was randomly served this video on my homepage and I'm so glad it was! The things you reflect on align with how I sometimes feel and I've only been on my journey for 1/16 of the amount of time of yours! And I don't think I'm alone in feeling this way. When I am overwhelmed with life and YT, I try to think of it as "me" time, which is still important to carve out especially with family responsibilities. But I liken it to video games, some days I only have 5 minutes to bust out a game on my phone. Other days I can put in an hour into an RPG. Either way, I figure out how to still enjoy gaming. Then again, I'm a new sub so I selfishly want to see you continue but conversely, have a huge backlog of content to go through so totally understand taking a break from new vids.

My family went to the milford drive in and saw an ad for your video experiment. That's how I found you. I think what you are doing is super duper cool. Maybe reach out to some fans and get ideas. Come play disc golf with me, or come take a snowboard lesson with me this winter :) !

Second kid is a lot more load added. 1+1=3. Fatherhood is extreme and trying to carve out your wants and needs are difficult. Now that my 2nd is older and more independent it’s a lot easier.

Great dedication! If you focus on learning a skill and mastering that... Can be anything, comedy, electrician, reviews, finance... Whatever niche you want to learn... Then get the quality of the videos up... you will see significantly better results. It's easier to get 1 million views on a great video then 1 million views on 1000 lower quality videos (mr beast said this). People have enough problems, they come here to either learn something new or be entertained. Keep that in mind.

I think everything you said makes sense, there are ebbs and flows of creativity. I have been in that place lately and what occurred to me is something I learned in grad school - just at the point where it all felt like too much and I wanted to quit, that is when I turned the corner and it all got easier. Kind of like that phrase "darkest before the dawn." Keep doing what you can each day and before you know it a new creative idea will come to you and it will be fun again.

They say you're not a real parent until the second child. Parenting squared. Been there, hang in there.
