Love the color choice, really demonic, in a good way. The red undertone goes so well with the redlines… make each other pop. Great build, thanks for posting it. As an aside, my wife got me the little USB screwdriver for Christmas before I was working on customs and I accidentally discovered works great on putting the screws in, there is now nothing more satisfying than driving the last screw home with my little electric screwdriver. I had a green one when they first came out. That's not an original color but it should have been.
That looks Fantastic❗
Monogram released it in the early 60's. It was the Lil Coffin, had a skeleton figure that was posed leaning on it and was originally maroon with a white top and was my first model that I really made a mess out of (I was barely 7), I have no idea if it was an actual car in the hot rod world. I believe it was but never seen any actual pictures of it.

Yes to actual car. Yes, there are photos. It went through a few versions...The most unfortunate was the "Monkey Ward" version. But, Good News! Restored to original appearance!

Great job looks great, what stripper is it you put the body in to remove the paint? I haven't seen anything that thick. Thank you
