Thank you. This helped a lot.
This is the best series i have come across for setting up a Kanna. So well detailed and explained, particularly this last one and the importance of the chipbreaker 👏🏼
All this care and attention to a metal block plane and using the tapping front and back method will produce amazingly good results .Just get the metal sole flat on a diamond plate. Use red rubber grease (which stays where you put it ) on any screw adjusters. The Japanese methods will improve any metal plane .
Love this series, the only thing missing is seeing you take a shaving at the end!
This is a great series, definitely tempted to get a Japanese plane.
I’ve been waiting for this! So glad to finally see it so I can finish setting up my plane
Excellent series, thank you.
