Was it Josh Reyes who was screaming at the refs and the Thai players when Andy Gemao got injured? It was just a bad landing and NO Thai players extended their feet or try to injure him. The coach got to do better and watch carefully before accusing anyone and screaming like a fool.
I love the way the Philippine coaching on calling for time outs, but it is not to redraw a game plan, rather to rest and rejuvenate their men. I think that is good.

The boys were always looking for an open guy and they always resort to 1-3-1's whenever their opponents do a 2-3 zone and they only attack their defenders when they see a mismatch. As for them doing coast-to-coast, they're expected to do that because that's Filipino basketball at its very core. Besides, Josh is a defense-oriented coach. He's always gonna try to force the other team to turn the ball over so that they can run the floor.

To be fair, there is good ball movement too (kahit bihira makita 😔). Gilas seems to play a bit rusty too, hindi pumapasok yung easy shots sayang lang.
