I have rahu in my first house rising in virgo, pluto is there as well. I'm very focused on understanding myself and my path and the mystery of life as well as occultism. I'm always digging for the truth. I like to stay fit and am interested in holistic healing. I'm 42 and have evolved to be more self aware of how I respond vs react to energies. Astrology has helped exponentially. I think the entire chart needs to be taken into consideration as well. It's important to evolve to the higher octave of this energy rather to pinpoint a person in entirety based on one aspect of the entire chart.

Rahu in the 1st house is not bad. Also check other aspects and conjunctions. Check if there are other plants along with Rahu in first house and the nakshatras. Check their degrees. Check the first house lord placement.

The negative of what you said about rahu in the first house might be very true if the first house is aspected by Mars, saturn, or the Sun. But if the first house is aspected by a benefic, then it brings out the more harmless aspects. In general, they can have a strange, eccentric persona. They are vain and self conscious. But also independent and proud. The theives tend to be rahu in the 2nd house or 11th house.

I can't relate much to this... It's very hard for me to be assertive or show Aries like characteristics in general... But maybe it's bc Ketu is conjuncting my Sun... Both my 1st & 7th houses are empty except for my Nodes and a few minor asteroids.
Rahu in Pisces in cusp of ascendant. Sun is in Aquarius in cusp of ascendant as well. I was self obsessed from childhood but that eventually reduced as I got to 32. After Saturn Return, I turned completely spiritual and self aware. I dropped ego and self obsession once I realized that my Rahu in 1st house is affecting.
People with this placement will find it very hard to get married or will have an unhappy marriage and quick divorce. Also, they are heavily prone to depression, anxiety and all kinds of mental illnesses. Their mind is never at peace. They cannot sustain any relationship or friendship.
Nah I got a few. I was told if you spend time self reflecting and improving yourself, your relationships will improve. Luckily, I got 5 planets in the 12th, so self reflection and development comes naturally.

These "blanket statements" are what's recorded by the founders of astrology in vedic scriptures. You and I don't make the rules. Also - often times a difference of even a minute in the actual birth time can change the chart considerably.

@ashwinidombale7158 Mine has been difficult too. Feelings of isolation erupt every now & then. Dad passed way after a prolonged illness in Jan. He was very dear to me and I miss him terribly. Work front things have been better but personal life could def use some help. Desperately waiting for Rahu to move from 1st house now in Oct. 1 thing that I heard on remedies of Rahu is listening to Vishnu Sahastranam everyday. I don't hear it everyday but try to whenever possible. Another thought process is, if I am going thru a tough time, it's because of my karma. I need to face it bravely and accept my fate.
