Basharat Shafi (Late) was the pioneer of modern Burushaski poetry, he gave the language a new recognition by playing with the words, conveying the message of love, empathy, unity and cultural affinity.
His work will remain as a credible citation for the Burushaski language and literature, and young writers will keep on getting inspirations from the work of the great Burusho Poet.
Here is the 2nd Album of Basharat Shafi, which was recorded in the melodious voice of the talented Wajahat Shah Aalmi. After these beautiful songs, the entire landscape of Burushaski poetry and music changed in Yasin Valley.
