I remember your channel way back from when i was a kid about 7 yrs old i use to watch national geographic all qbout nature ever since i never thought to see this on you tube but when i did it got me so excited that i can watch and see all your documentary's
It's so amazing we can hear that recording (if that's the correct word for it) from the 1850s.
Instruments thousands of years old, yet the music doesn't feel that distant
We really feel the sound of bygone days as if it were only yesterday. What is time? There was once, but when? It turns out for a long time, but as if it was yesterday. Was it? It was. Perhaps now there is, but only in another universe parallel to ours. Perhaps life in that universe (in that world) did not disappear in time, but exists like ours, but only in another space. Someday, with the help of technology, a person will get there and it will be a reality. Musical instruments that were then you can hear and see, perhaps learn how to make them.
Who else also thought this would be some Potato 🥔 ASMR?
I can’t be the only one 😂
Cool! I don't use the exclamation mark often anymore.

Great job my friends much respect and God bless
Waiting. For it!!! Love from india.....🇮🇳🤗
IMAGINE if the Sqiiggle recorder images had took off?
We might not have had playbackable recordings?
The could have put the squiggles through a thing like a stylograph to make a more readily legible phonetic written script... accentuating particular shapes where they are clearly common amongst certain sounds ...?
That rocky
Very nice podcast!! I really enjoyed this as a music teacher.
woww loved this 💚💚💚
Why did you put headphones on a rock? For a photo? Haha
if those people made that music with stone gongs and stuff. Music would have been abandoned.
