Considering the expansion of the megapacks, ramping of the semi, new vehicles on the horizon etc I feel repeating the lows in 2 years time is unlikely.

Why would Tesla keep going up when Chinese electric vehicle exports are exploding up right now?
They're cheaper, better, and have the retail market. Tesla doesn't have a moat anymore (apart from Solar roofing tiles)

On previous examples FED printed money, either for recession or covid sake. Is it probably that fed will once again print like there is no tomorrow? Is it expectable that an enormous amount of money will be available for markets? I think you are right but the main factor is not yield by itself…

Nice analysis, I have been buying it seriously for first time. Agree it goes much higher over next 5 years. I also play TSLY for dividends, as long as TSLA is sideways to uptrend.

Tesla’s margins are deteriorating and revenue is declining. At its current valuation, an investment thesis in Tesla only makes sense if one believes they will solve full self driving.

One concern I have is Tesla finding its market share and settling down - transitioning from a growth stock to blue chip, and the lower earnings multiple that comes with it. Add to that weak earnings and the possibility of recession, and it could be a rocky road.
I don’t think Tesla is going to fail, but I question whether it can support the current stock price in the long run.

Every time I see a Tesla video from you Ben I always wonder if I should pay attention to what you say about crypto. I was heavily invested in Tesla from 2016 to 2024 when I cashed out. Reasons why Tesla stock is doing so poorly is because Elon is focusing on vanity projects like Cybertruck (high price and low margin), he has given up on producing an affordable $25-$30k car because he thinks it’s no longer necessary as robotaxis are around the corner, his politics makes 80% of his customers hate him and energy business isn’t ramping up as fast as it was predicted. Now with Trump likely killing off the EV credits, most Tesla models will go up in price by $7.5k, so I wonder what that will do with demand. So anyway, TSLA collapsing and staying at $100 is more likely than getting to $350 or $450…

80% of investors do not hate the man. His politics and other beliefs are precisely why he has succeeded at all the different endeavors.
If you acknowledge that Tesla is a very innovative company and volatile stock, and traded accordingly, you would be playing a winning hand.
@@pugsymalone6539 nah man, many people despise Elon. You can argue if that's justified or not, but there is a large fraction of people that won't buy teslas purely because of Elon.
Also people that buy EVs are further left on average, and people from that group are even more likely to dislike Elon.

In QE endless money printing and hype environment, fundamentals do not matter as much as technicals... when the sun stops shining you might be right and Tesla will see the collapse you are looking for. Remember, Tesla has never seen a real recession besides the 2020 meme recession (where it corrected over 50%). However, take advantage of money printing and hype, don't sit on the sidelines waiting for a recession.

I think the Teslabot scenario that they get them to replace a larger number of humans as time goes on and the savings from that also needs to be considered.
I have a feeling the comment from Elon to Sandy Munro that the build process of the model 2 will be far more impressive than the car itself is a hint Teslabot will be on the factory floor to build this car
If this is true, Ford, GM and Stellantis need to buy them from Tesla to stay in business or they will 100% go under, zero bailouts

I think the next explosive move is coming when Tesla makes a big step towards more market power, i.e. successful licensing of their SW, licensing of charging infrastructure, successful robotaxi, etc.

back then in previous cycles, Tesla did not have the amount of energy sells which will keep the price in check at higher highs. Last cyckles it only had the car sell to rely on but now tesla have both car sells and energy and soon the energy will be higher that the amount it does in car sells and soon hopefully tesla will add cheaper tesla cars which will keep the competion even further away and hopefully robotaxi will be online by middle of 2025 and some part of bots coming online saving even more money for tesla inside its plants. Soon megapack factory is online by the end of 2025 in shanghai.. the more time goes the more tesla adds to its plants and new possibilites aswell ass virtual plants. cybertryck in both US and Canada. and. The limiting factor for tesla is TIME.
Tesla produces electric cars, but those days almost nobody likes electric cars, so tesla should go down to 20 to be well priced.

As Tesla rolls out more products and polishes existing products and services, the cycle will accelerate.
Last cycle was six years consolidation. Right now we're at four years of consolidation. I think we're very close to another hockey stick up. That's just this Pugs opinion.
