I'm surprised I haven't seen a dead body left there yet. I almost hit a fox while it was chasing a bunny. Hate driving there.
17:24 pisses me off so much because you see it so often. Someone will be kind enough to leave a gap big enough for the car indicating to change lane, but the driver isn't aware of the dimensions of their vehicle so they slow down, the car leaving the gap slows down still being kind, and that clogs up everyone behind them. If someone is leaving a gap big enough then don't fart arse around, get in the fucking lane like you wanted too in the first place.

@@daviddou1408 No. Watch the somewhat pathetic lead up of the guy driving the black van... last minute decision in heavy traffic, very average sense of space/motion. 5:47 just because the truck stuffed the turn doesn't mean the cammer can go through on red. Yes I know it was orange when they hit the line but turned red at that instant so they had ample time to stop.
Technically they didn't run the red because they were past the line before it turned from Amber. But yes, I would have stopped for the light in this situation as that's just the smarter thing to do. Too many people have this "must beat the light attitude" even when there's vehicles ahead. That's how people get rear ended at lights.
@@SurgeDashcamtechnically the light was yellow at 5:43 , before the truck crosses the stop line. DC should have stopped, they had plenty time to do so.
8:10 Once again, another prime example as to why leaving a safe following distance is so important. 8:46 I assume this is totally ok because trucks "have time slots to make," and "are heavier than cars?"

Yeah, I'm a bit confused about that one. It doesn't look like a one way street and the "culprit" would have no way of knowing that someone was about to turn into the street when they started going past those parked cars. Australia has a weird system where two way streets sometimes don't have enough room to have cars pass each other from opposite sides... but also plenty of shit drivers who will get upset when there IS enough space for two cars, as you can clearly see in this example. It may be tight but knowing your car and how to drive it in tight spaces is not that hard. In Europe you wouldn't survive a day without those skills.
@@JayCGypsy1. We don't know how wide the cammer's vehicle is. 2. The obstruction is on the culprit's side of the road. They can find another way around it.
@@neilgerace355 Plenty of space on the left side to scoot over but the dash cammer turned into the road cutting the corner, another stupid habit of Australian drivers. Sure, he was 'right'. 17:50 I swear box truck drivers are completely oblivious. I had a similar situation where I was honking and flashing my lights at one I was following with the doors swinging open, intentionally sitting in view of their mirror, for over 10 seconds before they noticed. You'd think if you hear repeated horn blaring you'd at the very least glance around and check your mirrors to see what's going on and maybe see the door swinging wide open in your side mirror, but no.

The second clip is from Truganina, Melbourne. Very dangerous and terrible intersection and that road is a dumping ground for stolen cars regularly and covered in illegal rubbish all the time. I'm surprised I haven't seen a dead body left there yet. I almost hit a fox while it was chasing a bunny. Hate driving there.
9:23 nothing to see here, just a proper bloke listening to his blokey tunes
More and more people out here driving like they're in GTA V.
Ever thought that the van decided it wasn't safe or another reason and then stopped as did the DC because the traffic in front was stopping.

@mazwa2007 Your lucky to get one at Auction for under $20k these days.
When they first came to market you could pick one up for under $10k.
And by the time you do all the maintenance and do all the other generic modifications/upgrades that being realistic everyone that owns one will do. Your already up for an extra $15-$20k ontop of your buy price.

5:47 just because the truck stuffed the turn doesn't mean the cammer can go through on red. Yes I know it was orange when they hit the line but turned red at that instant so they had ample time to stop.
Technically they didn't run the red because they were past the line before it turned from Amber. But yes, I would have stopped for the light in this situation as that's just the smarter thing to do. many clips make for a driving PSA: check your windscreen and mirrors for traffic, don't check your phone screen for traffic
19:22 Yes, cammer made the culprit reverse. Justice is served sometimes.
But because he's a bad driver, multiple people needlessly wasted time. If he had turned in wide and kept to the left, there was enough space for both to pass. You can see from the height of his camera and the reflections that this isn't a truck.
