Well, Murtagh was always on Claire’s side. Like he said ”Jamie needs a mature woman”. Also, he is the one who saved Claire and brought her to Jamie and others.
Murtagh was Jamie's godfather and it wouldn't be wrong to say that he was on Jamie's side amd knew that he cannot be happy without Claire.

I don't quite get it. Jamie declared he had wanted Sassenach since the first meeting and loved her from the first night at Leoch. Yet, he seemed to be enjoying himself very much in the company of L. The presence of Claire added to the flame. Did he want to make her jelous? And after the wedding he didn't admit to L. he took Claire out of love but Dougal's arrangement. Quite cowardly, Mr.Fraser.
The part where Jaimie drops Lady Geneva in the mud always cracks me up😂😂

I wish the show had included some parts of Jamie being jealous (of other than Frank), like maybe in a playful way like Claire with the french woman.

I remember two funny scenes, where Jamie was maybe kinda jealous XD first one with the french guy, who started kissing Claires feet. Jamie threw him into the lake within an eye blink 🤣 the other one was when they wanted to sell the ruby Claire was wearing as a necklace. Afterwards Jamie said something like (at least in the german version) "his eyeballs almost fell into your bosom, he nearly felt my fist in his face" 😂 ahh, I loved those scenes
Nah, jealousy isn't attractive, its all about insecurity. I like that Jamie's character is strong and knows himself. I want to be entertained not exhausted.

I always find it weird and awkward, and sometimes I even get upset, almost angry! when I see Jamie with someone else then Claire. Such as the time when Jamie was with Mary McNab in the cave close to Lallybroch. That scene really makes me angry!

Well he was very lonely man in their late 30s so not so unexpected in that time period. He went lonely for very long time after Claire.

@@sharonstonts I believe Laoghaire never loved Jamie. she was attracted to him and had all these feelings we have for something we want and can't have. when we can't have it, our feelings grow stronger. that's what it was. that's why even when she got married to him, it didn't work out. she just wanted to claim him as hers but didn't want to be in a proper relationship with him.

Lady Geneva is a most stunning beauty. BTW, there was another Lallybroch woman, a servant, quite kind, who "served" Jamie during Claire's absence. It seems she's forgotten in this vid.
She literally blackmailed him into sleeping with her, via threatening his sister and her family. Being beautiful is one thing but it is definately better to stay away from that kind of people.

So the video about Clairs other men would be boring as... just Frank. And her relationship with him was ruined when she came back. Frank even took a mistress when she couldn't be intimate with him anymore. She thought she'd never see Jamie again as well but she stayed faithful anyway.
Jamie was just a Horn Dog... and to marry the woman who tried to have his wife killed, for whatever reason he gave for it... Was just unforgivable.
1. Claire did try to make things normal with Frank. If Frank didn't cheat, we still don't know what might happen (yes, but she was truly dedicated to Jamie for all those years)
2. Don't think the stuffs from the 21st century perspective. Jamie, alone in his late thirties was quite a rare site in the 18th century. There were obligations (or else he wouldn't have the son)..and he was a kind and responsible person (to marry the widowed Laoghire with her children but never being intimate with her, because he never loved her)
3. I despise his marriage to Laoghire though, because it was stupid of Jamie to marry the person who always tried to ruin Claire- the love of his life ...but the term 'horn-dog' is SO NOT for Jamie; if it were so, he would have more bairns....He loved Claire so much that he literally led a lonely youth.

@@Dexidoodle Yes, it was unforgivable...I was furious at that scene and it just seemed a guy lying and making excuses for his wrong deed...but then if you think, he was scarred from Randall's episode for quite a long time... so did the 69 thingy happen only because he's horny?
@@theia_darkwolf He would have had to be intimate with Laoghaire. A marriage wasn't legal then if you didn't... so he was with her at least once. He said he didn't live with her, not that they'd never banged. He also bedded his sister's servant in the cave (not mentioned in this vid for some reason). He was also on great terms with prostitutes whilst he was a printer... even took Claire to his room at a whorehouse on her first night back. You can't possibly believe he didn't partake of their services even once... just saying.
Claire was with two men in her life,and both were her husband. Jamie had a free for all.
@@Dexidoodle it's implied the character didn't partake of the services, and perfectly plausible he wouldn't, but I'd consider the Madam was on of his "other women" as she appeared to have designs on him.

Never watched the show nor read the book .As a outsider Googled few characters behaviour and sacrifice. .It breaks my heart literally I can't breathe after what I read about frank. No matter what he said and done.He is truly hero ..Frank Loved claire and bree more than they could have imagined.

Para mas desgracia tiene que ser testigo del amor verdadero que se procesa la pareja, todo cuanto anhelaba se lo lleva Claire.
La historia de Laoghaire es una camino de ilusiones frustradas, celos, envidias y desamor que la marcaran para el resto de su vida.
Puede doler pero si ves al que amas siendo verdaderamente feliz en otro lado, lo dejas ir. Y por amor propio no vuelves a esa persona ni insistes.
