The research I’ve been doing on bio char is on how it’s made and that it needs to be pre charged before using. There’s a big difference between charcoal and biochar.

Their biochar is way too coarse = poor quality, plus afaik even after charging the biochar needs to sit a few years in the soil because when normal people charge it they typically do a poor job.

I know this was a few years ago but I was wondering if you had charged your biochar before adding it to the soil
Yes I did I had it soaking in liquid manure and comfrey tea for a week or so
i think you should get bigger buckets, at least 2ice as big, like those from second batch
