@@grzegorzbrzeczyszykiewic3338 Batov wan't meant to be ultranationalist, he was planned to have a "sane" paternalist stratocracy route (which made it into the final game) and a not-so-sane despotic regency route where he would be a weird monarchist beleiving that Alexei is alive and will return after the unification, but wouldn't do any burgindian stuff for the sake of supposed purification.
