Badflower To Release New Album + Song Called “Detroit” | Talkin' Rock with Meltdown

The band Badflower will be releasing a new album and go out on tour. The first single is called “Teacher Has A Gun”.
I recently spoke with singer, Josh Katz and bassist Alex Espiritu from Josh’s farmhouse outside of Nashville. We talked about the upcoming album, the songs, and more.
“It’s finally getting done” when asked about the new music. He said he had/has lots of ideas but also self-doubt when creating music. As far as the goal of the upcoming album, Josh says “That’s a tough question. The motivation for why we do what we do has been a really big issue in my head.” He went on “The motivation doesn’t seem as pure anymore when you’ve had success.” He said it’s a weird business/career. “You can’t force that ( writing about the struggles)” He said that he can communicate his motivation through his music.
As far as the name of the album and when it drops, Josh said “It doesn’t exist yet”
