I'm hoping 2K finds a way to fix the infinite loading when you try to save custom superstars/custom attires because it's really annoying when you're trying to add custom attires to a superstar or when you try to create a superstar.
It’s gone my guy been dealing with this issue since the game came out, I got a good 3 weeks in and it was closed curtains. I’ve done EVERY TRICK, searched every site, read every thread. Now WWE 2k23 is about to launch, they will never patch it now. I will NEVER purchase another WWE 2k game again. No Mercy for N64 is still most COMPLETE wrestling game out, fortunately it wasn’t made by 2k back then. 🤷🏾♂️
Appreciate the intention, but I don't understand why players should have to jump through hoops like this just to get the game to work. Like, seriously, why should we have to go through this when custom content worked PERFECTLY in previous games like 2K19. We shouldn't have to put up with this; the developer should fix their game and allow us to play _as we choose_ (and as the game was intended to be played based on its modes and features) free of any worries and concerns. This is why I am done until they get their act together, if ever. If 2K23 is a buggy mess as well, that's a rap.
2k20 didn't even have this issue, later on. I know early on it was just unplayable for a while but they fixed that game and it actually was a pretty decent WWE 2K game imo. And I am with you If they don't fix these issue for this game now how are they supposed to expect us to be looking forward to 2k23? Because I sure am not.

It's rather odd if you ask me that 2K20 was lambasted for its many flaws, crashes inclusively, whereas there's been little to no coverage on the game breaking issues plaguing 2K22. It's almost as if the majority of mainstream media outlets, prominent RUclipsrs and gamers voluntarily decided to turn a blind eye for whatever interests were involved. And for those experiencing issues with it, it is not uncommon to be gaslighted by loyalists not wishing to admit to the game's many flaws on the same level as 2K20, if not worse in some areas. It's almost as if 2K20 has become the scapegoat of the series and 2K22, undeservedly imho, has been placed on a pedestal. 2K20, aside from its flaws and glaring issues upon launch, was definitely the most creative entry in the 2K series to date imo. The arenas and backstages were really neat. 2K22 is a pale shadow of that game in terms of where the Creation Suite was, though it's still deep compared to modern day standards. I know not everyone was a fan of the fantasy stuff in 2K20, but as someone who exclusively used the Creation Suite, I found it to be a huge boon. It definitely brought life to an otherwise lifeless series. My two cents.
@@kayskreed if we really speak about it, 2k20 was a dumpster fire in terms of playability when you COULD actual play it. That is why it is talked about so much more over 2k22’s issues. 2k22 is playable, I think that’s where the line is drawn. It’s filled with excessive bugs and 2k somehow managed to break modes that worked before. As well as 2k continuing to make patches and break more stuff in the process. For a game that took extra time to make it should definitely be talked about more for how many bugs it has that ruin the game but it’s really about it being playable. In my experience 2k20 started perfectly fine and would have occasional crashes but then suddenly started crashing 85% of the time whenever I tried to start a match. Multi man matches were virtually unplayable, I had to turn entrances off just to get matches to start, universe mode cards crashed after watching or playing a match, and the DLC also crashed a lot. I personally enjoyed 2k20 whenever I would be able to start a match. If it never was plagued with crashes it would of been one of the better games in the series just for what it was.
When it comes to image deletion I go the long way of deleting images individually cuz I've found that half the time selecting delete custom superstar and images will delete things it's not supposed to corrupting caws that had nothing to do with the one I just deleted
@@DeadlyBeast205that's what I mean yeah the deletion utility works better if you go through and delete the images individually also it happened in 2K19 too I remembered there's a good chance of it doing so if you delete all unused images instead of deleting individually and it's worse now cuz also renders are still labeled as unused for some reason
I have close to 90 custom wrestlers, several custom championship belts (I avoid the custom MITB briefcases completely) and Universe mode has not crashed on me in months. It actually got a lot better and faster load times in the PC edition with the last patch.
how many of those CAW’s are downloaded? my game’s been a lot more stable when it comes to having a bunch manually created CAWs as opposed to downloaded characters from the online community
Is there any "work arounds" you can suggest from CAW? I had 5 crashes trying to create a very generic wrestler, I have all updates and just downloaded yesterday so I'm not sure how to create more if the crashes are so easy to trigger
Another point I've not seen covered (at least for PC) if you go over the data limit it will not warn you. Unknowingly logging out over the data limit will default the game back to its last "safe" data level. Undoing any changes made, including putting back deleted items, without any warning of being over the limit.
Tried reinstalling the game to deal with the issue of not being able to edit custom superstars after the last update an it works so far. Very happy thanks the the advice.
Love the videos! My PS4 still so far doing good... The only "everytime freeze" i have is under Creations, then Superstar & than u get 3 options, create new superstar, edit custom superstar & just superstar.. Everytime if i click on just "Superstars" it freezes up but not a biggie, dont really need to go there anyways
Something I'd like to see covered is crashes in my gm. Like I can't even set up a tag match with a custom superstar without it crashing. Crashing as soon as I put the 4th man in the schedule
im glad i havent had really any issues with crashing as of recent updates and i play on pc only had to only deal with screen tearing but thankfully i found a fix for that keep up the great content matt and cant wait for your next impression video
An issue I have had is when I delete superstars through deletion utility and i delete the images from that creation, a different superstar loses their logos/gets "corrupted" and i have to readd their renders
the constant crash I have which hasn't been fixed since launch is when you go into MyFaction from the pop-up after the start screen then when I exit once I've done whatever it is I'm doing it crashes. I've also had crashes after matches in the mode too but thankfully the game seemingly saves it somehow so I don't lose progress.
I love this game but the user experience is so bad man. Having to go to another game mode to remove a superstar in order to delete them, the weirdly organized deletion utility, tag teams not carrying over from exhibition to universe mode.. my game also has long load times going from menu to menu so it’s really a pain
Game is working fine in terms of loading times before 1.14. We can edit custom and ingame superstars. I hate it because we shouldnt be experiencing this and doing workarounds to avoid this issue.
My main problem is when downloading CAWs or titles, the images turns black with a "!" In Universe Mode & in the chatacter & title menus. Thankfully had no crashes on my One or Series S. But yes, I've spent far too much time in Deletion Tool.
its not an issue. just go to that wrester edit them. and change their vs mode pose. or just select the one which is already there and the superstar's image will start to show up in menus.

I like your consistent content and coverage of this game, but it saddens me that we live in an age where a video like this needs to be made for people to enjoy the game I have had multiple hard crashes and two instances of save data being totally wiped, you get into forums and discussions online where people tell you to stop complaining and that every new game has issues It didn't use to always be like this. Even no mercy which had an original run of copies that carried some kind of hard-coded glitch that would eventually reset your data, those were all recalled and the issue was fixed and it was an admitted error on the developers part Now instead people say we'll just stop downloading things from community creations as if that isn't an advertised and intended feature to use in this game that has been working correctly on prior versions without causing crashes or save data wipes It's astounding to me that 2K got their license renewed, but quality doesn't matter only the profit margin does Anyway thank you for listening to my tirade, continue your good work because when this game is working right I really enjoy it
Agreed. It shouldn't be up to the player to find a 'solution', it should fall upon the shoulders of the developer to either fully address the issue free of charge, or release a stable game in the first place. BTW, I still have my bugged out copy of No Mercy. This was before the internet, so we didn't hear about any recall notices lol. It was a great game, but ultimately that bug sealed the deal and it was time to move on.
Custom renders are completely removed on PS4 if you delete your unused images. Usually it leaves one for some reason though, which is very strange. It’s not like it matters though, because at least for PS4 players when you try to create/edit a custom superstars the game still freezes when you try to save the game.
I tried this on my PS4 and nothing works this way! The Internet is also a problem over such an issue. I am unhappy over this matter even when I try my best in creating and editing created wrestlers on the PS4. This is a living hell all the time! This must update as soon as possible.
There seems to be several crash bugs involving different elements of the game. It is my experience that storyline issues in my rise can cause them as well. I fought paragon twice after he retired.
Could we possibly see you do a look and rate video of the top 50 pages of downloaded titles every so often? Like maybe ounce a month or ounce a week? I think that would be cool to see, I’d enjoy watching those vids.

Can you talk about the created superstars problem? Idk if it’s happening to anyone else, but personally I use Playststion and I can’t even create my own custom superstar or put a render on anyone without it not crashing, or just outright keep loading forever, and I mean forever. I once left my PlayStation on for 2 whole days and it was still loading.
I have a problem when I want to edit show and add a new arena like NXT 2.0 and save and then edit the show it shows the raw April 2019 arena and not the NXT 2.0 arena is probably a bug or glitch
14:46 syncing data for wwe2k22 is that normal doesn't going to delete all good stuff from commny creations or show the picture drew every time when you play wwe2k22
I have an issue with my Smoking Gunns version of Billy Gunn. His entrance attire he has a cowboy hat but in any mode I play using him when he makes his entrance the hat is not there and there is a hole on his hair that looks like it goes through his head
The biggest crash I get is when I try putting custom MITB cases in my universe mode. As soon as I click the money in the bank option in the titles area it just crashes every time.
I found a new one: Universe Mode reset my tag teams to default, and I couldn't edit the tag teams to have trio entrances. Couldn't edit nWo at all. Never played a game that made me work so hard just to enjoy it (I never played 2K20 btw)
Had this game for a month now....never have a played a sport's game that is so piss poor , crashes and freezes.... shocked at how 2K don't appear to patch this game so it plays without numerous glitches and crashes...
I'm on PC and although I have had my fair share of crashing and it is very annoying, my main bug/glitch issue that I am experiencing now is that my CAWs are getting deleted whenever I try to edit their attires mostly. I can't edit my CAWs because I'm afraid I might lose them especially the ones I actually created and worked on for hours. I am also experiencing losing some custom titles after I download them from Community Creation they somehow vanish or just get deleted. I'm not sure if it may be because I downloaded 2 MyRise Female exclusive characters from CC which I have no idea why 2k didn't make them unlockable characters for playing that game mode, but that may have been the cause for why my game has this bug/glitch. Thank you Assemble for the video, I am going to try this out. Hopefully it will fix some issues
There is a weird bug, where running moves don't connect. I lost to Nakamura, because my signature (Torpedo Moscow) would not get started. He would punch me or I would get nothing but air.
for my PC players: how often are you guys getting the graphics card error? i have about 10 created wrestlers (a couple downloaded from the community) and my game runs fine, but i’ve been thinking about expanding my roster to have a deeper universe mode but idek if it’s worth it
idk how to explain this but let’s say i’m gojng to edit my custom superstars/attire it would load for a very long time or just not save and stay loading so i deleted the game and installed it now i’m having the issie with the beginning where you have to play one on one roman vs rey and it’s now having issues with starting the game and again i believe my game has crashed again i deleted the game twice and reinstalled and nothing changed 💀
I must be one of the lucky ones because my game never crashes the simple fact I don't download too many created superstars like that just saying I create my own I don't go to community creations like that.

Is there a way to have your game not delete your progress? Because my save files have corrupted many times and I have done showcase at least 4 times and its getting really aggravating.
Custom titles don't crash the game for me but MITB is a pain in the ass honestly tho Universe is pretty close to what we got in SvR 2011 now I like universe but it needs a huge update lots of fixes and hopefully with 2k23 we get more cut scenes and sometimes the rivalry matches suck like I was doing Shin vs Rey 08 for the US title on smackdown and even tho that's my rivalry at the ppv I get Cesaro vs Rey now I like Cesaro but him and Rey had already beat him in game months prior so it ruined the ppv for me in sense of logical storytelling

i actually went and made a parody wrestler of the whole 'image missing' glitch that seems to no longer be an issue (for now anyway) called Bug E. Glitch. XD Looks just like their stock photo of the generic wrestler image with the "!" sign for a head haha.

I’ve noticed that some of the CAWs I downloaded get corrupted each time a new patch comes out so I have to download them again. Especially when I use deletion utility
I made my own custom MITB for NXT and 205 Live using images in the game and i had no crashes... may it only crashes when you downloaded a MITB Briefcase with a Custom Image on it?
So I’m having this issue with wwe2k22, so when I try to create a superstar or edit a superstar it gets stuck on the loading screen or it will load and let me customize then once I finish and click accept and save it gets stuck on the loading screen
Hey Assemble, in PC I have an gaming PC and the game won't launch at all. No white screen or anything. It's the only game that won't work for me. Installed again, verified files and updated everything. Any ideas?
Is there anything on working the game not launching at all? Mine on pc, been getting 'graphic device remove' crashes and tried fixing it by updating my graphic drivers and now the game just won't launch. Contacted 2k supports for help, was of no help at all. Why would they keep asking me to lower graphic settings in-game when the issue is clearly about the game not being able to launch? It's frustrating to be honest.

The other thing to avoid is not to remove slap jack mask I have done that just remove his mask but the game crashed like 2 times

I have a problem when I want to edit show and add a new arena like NXT 2.0 and save and then edit the show it shows the raw April 2019 arena and not the NXT 2.0 arena is probably a bug or glitch

I have an issue with my Smoking Gunns version of Billy Gunn. His entrance attire he has a cowboy hat but in any mode I play using him when he makes his entrance the hat is not there and there is a hole on his hair that looks like it goes through his head
The biggest crash I get is when I try putting custom MITB cases in my universe mode. As soon as I click the money in the bank option in the titles area it just crashes every time.
I found a new one: Universe Mode reset my tag teams to default, and I couldn't edit the tag teams to have trio entrances. Couldn't edit nWo at all.
Never played a game that made me work so hard just to enjoy it (I never played 2K20 btw)
Had this game for a month now....never have a played a sport's game that is so piss poor , crashes and freezes.... shocked at how 2K don't appear to patch this game so it plays without numerous glitches and crashes...
Also it’s not just downloaded custom MITB cases that crash the game.
I made my own and it’s still doing it.
What about when you delete a custom image dor one caw an it screws up another caw also
I'm on PC and although I have had my fair share of crashing and it is very annoying, my main bug/glitch issue that I am experiencing now is that my CAWs are getting deleted whenever I try to edit their attires mostly. I can't edit my CAWs because I'm afraid I might lose them especially the ones I actually created and worked on for hours. I am also experiencing losing some custom titles after I download them from Community Creation they somehow vanish or just get deleted. I'm not sure if it may be because I downloaded 2 MyRise Female exclusive characters from CC which I have no idea why 2k didn't make them unlockable characters for playing that game mode, but that may have been the cause for why my game has this bug/glitch.

If you're on PC you can just unlock the hidden NPCs with Cheat Engine. Saves up download slots.

There is a weird bug, where running moves don't connect. I lost to Nakamura, because my signature (Torpedo Moscow) would not get started. He would punch me or I would get nothing but air.
for my PC players: how often are you guys getting the graphics card error? i have about 10 created wrestlers (a couple downloaded from the community) and my game runs fine, but i’ve been thinking about expanding my roster to have a deeper universe mode but idek if it’s worth it

idk how to explain this but let’s say i’m gojng to edit my custom superstars/attire it would load for a very long time or just not save and stay loading so i deleted the game and installed it now i’m having the issie with the beginning where you have to play one on one roman vs rey and it’s now having issues with starting the game and again i believe my game has crashed again i deleted the game twice and reinstalled and nothing changed 💀
I must be one of the lucky ones because my game never crashes the simple fact I don't download too many created superstars like that just saying I create my own I don't go to community creations like that.
Another thing that annoys me is that custom renders won’t always work or will duplicate onto other superstars. Does anyone know how to stop this

Is there a way to have your game not delete your progress? Because my save files have corrupted many times and I have done showcase at least 4 times and its getting really aggravating.
Damn, bro,this crap crashed on my console three times in a row. I was on WrestleMania Universe mode and it crashed on different matches, idk why...
I do only Download over 30 Wrestler on My Main Save and the Rest own CAWs and Costom Attires..

Custom titles don't crash the game for me but MITB is a pain in the ass honestly tho Universe is pretty close to what we got in SvR 2011 now I like universe but it needs a huge update lots of fixes and hopefully with 2k23 we get more cut scenes and sometimes the rivalry matches suck like I was doing Shin vs Rey 08 for the US title on smackdown and even tho that's my rivalry at the ppv I get Cesaro vs Rey now I like Cesaro but him and Rey had already beat him in game months prior so it ruined the ppv for me in sense of logical storytelling

I use custom MITBs on my Universes and haven't had a crash when trying to change them.
Only issue I have is creating teams that's what's crashing it my custom superstars and belts are fine

My "My Rise" is just stuck. I did 13/14 things at the PC. After I won in Mexico I get only one option and that's exit.

i actually went and made a parody wrestler of the whole 'image missing' glitch that seems to no longer be an issue (for now anyway) called Bug E. Glitch. XD Looks just like their stock photo of the generic wrestler image with the "!" sign for a head haha.
dont play around with mitb cuz if you have bad luck like me it corrupted my whole save and deleted everything only by trying to change my mr mitb

I’ve noticed that some of the CAWs I downloaded get corrupted each time a new patch comes out so I have to download them again. Especially when I use deletion utility
My universe got corrupted twice and I had to delete all 3, the most frustrating shit ever

Hey Assemble, in PC I have an gaming PC and the game won't launch at all. No white screen or anything. It's the only game that won't work for me. Installed again, verified files and updated everything. Any ideas?
I've an issue with some download Caws, when trying to edit them and save them, enters into a saving loop.
Is there anything on working the game not launching at all? Mine on pc, been getting 'graphic device remove' crashes and tried fixing it by updating my graphic drivers and now the game just won't launch. Contacted 2k supports for help, was of no help at all. Why would they keep asking me to lower graphic settings in-game when the issue is clearly about the game not being able to launch? It's frustrating to be honest.
