Love this wing. Can use the 8m comfortably from 8 - gusting 20 Florida winds no problem

Hey! Do you have a 6.5 m²? I m considering to buy that wing and I was wondering if the power supplied is really worth it in light compare to a 6.5m²

Hi Alexandre, No I don’t have a 6,5m2. My previous wing was a Swing V1 6m2 so I can compare to that. Compared to the Swing 6m2 the Strike CwC 8m2 has a lot more power, there is a big difference. For light wind the 8m2 is really good, no doubts about that. The bigger span is something you have to get used to, but after a while you don’t think about it anymore.

95L board, and how much do you weigh? I’d love to put together a light wind setup like that! Did some research on the board and wing and they seem awesome

67kg. Most of our winging is on an inland lake with anemic and irregular wind ( must je able to come in with virtual no wind). On a place with more regular wind smaller would probably be possible ad light wind board.

how many LT is the board ?

    Could u do it with a 6m?

probably not, the 8 allows to kite in conditions where a 6 is not usable. Our main kite spot has very light irregular winds, 40% of the sessions are with the 8.
6-10kn the 8 m² is good for 68 kg. 10 kn and more a 6 is enough.

Nice vid, For me 8 m ² would be too big and the action if you barely can fly is low.. therefore I prefere not too large sails - may be I am just not good enough

95% of our winging is on an inland lake with irregular and anemic wind... in such conditions a 8m² and big foil makes sense...
If you live on a windy place no need for 8m²...

Not faster than any boat… I am a wingfoiler and moth sailor.. and the moth is definitely faster also in 8-9 kn wind. 😜

Should have been faster than any sailboat that day... ;-).
      Almost no foilboats over here...
